Terrible customer service

I have been waiting two months now to have two chairs collected. I have rang numerous times and each time they promise something will be sorted and each time nothing is done. Sick to death of them.

could do better

Overall, the catalogue isn't too bad. Personally, I think there is too much extra charge on goods, especially electronic items, i.e an iron was almost double the price on here than in shops. I do expect a bit of an increase but that's too much. Also billing statements should be different. To me there should be two balances if you are paying on the bnpl scheme because you can't see what the balance is on your previous items or a separate statement. I unfortunately thought I paid for an item on the bnpl within the time limit and because I hadn't clicked the bnpl button to pay, I naturally just paid on the balance, the interest was added and I was mortified. Also it gives a false reading because you add the interest on the balance at the beginning. I don't think it should be included until time has almost expired and you could inform customers beforehand

There when you need them.

I only use the Internet to browse or search K&Co for what I'm looking for and it works well, prices are a little high on some items I think, however a fast delivery and nice people to help over the phone makes it an overall pleasant experience.

CUSTOMER SERVICE NON EXISTANT

No, After sales srevice at all, So called rewards scheme non exitent very difficult to claim rewards. I have closed my account after being with them for well over 10 years , even that was difficult to do as could not do it on online. Had to email them and ' specialist' will get back to me

Rewards scheme is a absolute Con

I have used Kandco for a long time and a few months ago was promoted to a Platinum customer rewards. I have since this time purchased well over £2000 worth of household items & I have not received one penny in rewards not one offer I would just like Kandco customers to check their accounts as I have been in touch with the rip off Britain team and there is cause for concern we are being ripped off. I have queried this with Kandco and either do not qualify because that account payments will first be applied to goods on the account that are excluded from Rewards.Certain items do not qualify to earn Rewards such as reduced priced items e.g. buy one get one free, 3 for 2 type offers and sale items, as well as those purchased on Buy Now Pay Later. You will find you will rarely qualify for anything & customer services will tell you your rewards are automatically applied to your account, There is no evidence of this in your statement. The rewards Scheme is a complete con & Kandco play on the fact that there are people who need companies like this to buy on credit. check your account & complain you are being cheated!! We already pay well over the price of the goods from the start now we are cheated out of the commissions we have worked hard to earn.

the x factor of fashion

I have shopped with Kay&co for over 40 years. I used to browes through a catalogue, now I use my laptop and relax with a coffee while I look through the latest fashion. The styles keep up to date, are well made and good value, day wear to evening wear something for everyone. Kids clothes are very good prices. Special offers are great, saving money in the sales is a big bonus. Household, garden, toys. Check it out for yourself, it beats going round loads of shops, no aching feet. Free and fast delivery. A great site.

UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCOMPETENT

K&Co play on the fact that some people cannot afford to pay outright for necessary purchases. A close friend bought an indesit oven, which was more expensive than from anywhere else. The oven is not fit for purpose and took over three hours to cook a small chicken and roast potatoes. When we contacted K's, explainining this, they said it was non returnable, because we had used the product!!! Despite numerous emails, reiterating it should be collected and he had no intention of paying for it, they have been chasing him for over a year through a debt collection agency and are now threatening court action. I wish them luck! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

...Then don't bother with the rest,. For online hopping, quick delivery, easy access to the site and being kept up to date regarding your account Kandco's latest offers, then choose them. You won't regret it.

Laptop

Very disappointed with Kay's we ordered a lap top at the start of December and have been waiting for delivery, we were told it would be here by the 23rd and now they are saying the this model is not available, Its now too late to order for Christmas so will need to look elsewhere, We will not be ordering any more Electrical equipment from Kay's at this time of year as we could not be sure you would get in time, Very poor service

Large order and commenting on all

Imagine this. 4 weeks till Christmas and not a present thought of let alone bought. Pressured for time due to family and work commitments - what to do? I sat one evening and went online to see if I could find anything suitable for gifts - and found everything I needed. Some things were delivered within 2 days - the rest within 5. All sorted now so bring on the festivities 🎄. Excellent service thank you and Happy Christmas

Misleading your customer

I placed my first order with Kandco 9th November and just as well that I was in no hurry. I was told that the order would arrive in five parcels and I was told when to expect delivery. The order actually arrived in eight parcels/packages and the completion of delivery was one week late. Whilst delivery was free, I did not expect it to take 19 days to complete! I reserve my opinion with regard to the quality of merchandise but earnestly suggest that you do something with regard to delivery performance.

Fine as long as nothing is faulty....And still awaiting a refund Thought I'd update!

I've used Kays for a while and if it's just a matter of buying and receiving goods on time, they're OK with that except for every piece of furniture having at least one screw missing.

I bought a tablet in August 2013 (along with a 4 year replacement guarantee) and by January 2014 it had become faulty, I was told I HAD to send it to the manufacturer for repair (I later found out they should have just replaced it and the manufacturer shouldn't have been involved) , so I sent it off only for it to not work after about 2 weeks, I sent it off again and still it didn't work, I didn't want to send it a third time as it cost me to send it each time, but KandCo kept telling me it was Prestigio (the manufacturer)'s problem and Prestigio kept telling me to talk the the retailer (KandCo), so as Prestigio will only replace it after it going in 3 times for repair I gave in and sent it off a third time, after 5 weeks of them having it I asked what was happening and they said they were waiting for a part, so I gave them 2 more weeks and asked about it again, still no part and Prestigio told me to ask Kandco for a refund or replacement, so I emailed Kandco yet again and all I got was a customer satisfaction survey asking how the customer care adviser handled my query, I didn't even get a reply this time, so Kandco won't do refunds even though they are required to by law if an item is faulty or not fit for purpose, as my tablet was. If you want clothes, non-electrical toys or games then use them, but don't buy anything that could go wrong or be faulty.

The customer care people don't even read emails properly and will just tell you that your faulty item is out of the home approval guarantee even if you are within your statutory rights period, if you do still buy an electrical item, there's no point in getting a replacement guarantee, as it's a lie,I have yet to have a replacement or refund in the 11 months that the tablet hasn't worked or (as it's been with Prestigio for weeks) not even been in my possession. I've also made a complaint about the online customer care but that was duly ignored.

So now Kays have promised a refund, I'm trying to work out how to go about it and getting nowhere, I don't want a credit to my account, so had to phone only to be told yet again that their home approval doesn't extend this long, well I know that, but my statutory rights date back all the way to 2014 when it was first faulty!

Easy prompt service

I like the fact the website is easy to use. I don't like the fact that your prices have increased. I like the credit facility. I like the free delivery. Overall I have generally been pleased with most things.
