Replaced my phone battery.
Don't take Apple products here
Took my iPhone 11 Pro Max in to get a new battery last month. Was working fine for a few weeks then it just started switching itself off randomly and displaying low battery even when it was charged. Only works now when plugged into a power source. In short, they've ruined a perfectly good phone and the only thing they offered was to put another battery in to replace their faulty one which was supposed to be new. If you want my advice, do not take any Apple products to iSmash
Great service
Great service, I booked an appointment and didn’t have to wait when I arrived. The team at iSmash Manchester took care of my problem quickly and explained the process and possible downsides. I had the battery replaced on my ageing iPhone 11 for less than half the price that an Apple Store would do and the performance is back to great again with a battery that actually lasts me the full day.

Mo, the technician in Highcross Leicester, is quite possibly the best and kindest individual in the business. He immediately sorted the problem out with my wife’s phone. He was incredibly courteous and clearly New his subject area. We will always be visiting him in the near future.!! Amazing guy and an amazing level of service!! 
Avoid iSmash St Pancras shop
iSmash St Pancras shop was were I got my battery replaced. I arrived at 11am, for a pre-booked appointment, and despite the store opening at 8am it was still closed.
A very helpful part time employee explained the manager was running late!!! 3 hours late!
He eventually arrived at 11.20 - no apology.
Another customer had been waiting 2 hours for her appointment to replace her screen.
The part-time employee who had first greater me outside the shop, served me and fixed my phone.
While waiting outside for my phone I noticed 25 minutes after opening the shop the manager was outside smoking scrolling through his phone! Appalling service.
Awful place
Awful place. Went in for a very simple phone fix, tried to completely rip me off. Staff not empathetic, just want to rinse you of your money. Ended up getting phone fixed for free round the corner. Do not go here!
The service was quick but im worse off
The service was quick, but Ive actually come out with a device which is now worse than it was. I went in with a cracked camera lense, the camera worked fine there were just a glare in certain lights, where the light hit the crack. They replaced the camera lense but now my camera doesnt focus and i am unable to use simple elements of my camera such as scanning a QR code up close, an issue i never had before.

Extremely disappointing experience and lack of accountability
I took my MacBook Pro to iSmash for a screen replacement in January, then returned it in September when the screen proved faulty. After their second repair, the Touch Bar stopped working, and now they claim both the Touch Bar and trackpad are non-functional.
They say I “can’t prove” the damage happened during repair because they didn’t do a pre-check — but they never asked me for my password, even though they spoke to me directly before the service. Despite this, they’ve offered no refund or compensation, only to “order a new trackpad as a favour.”
Poor communication, lack of responsibility, and no care for the customer — I would not recommend trusting iSmash with valuable devices.

Brilliant service
Just had a new battery installed in my Google Pixel phone at the Glasgow Buchanan Street branch. Phone was ready before the 45 minutes quoted. No problems whatsoever, polite and efficient service. Highly recommend.
Broken camera lens
I had a broken camera lens on my phone. I didn’t have an appointment nor a lot of time to hang around (I just went on the off-chance) and the guy kindly repaired it while I waited. It was quite a lot of money but I guess worth it to get my phone fixed. I was very happy with the service.
Samsung ultra 20 note screen fix
First attempt to fix my screen, the stratford ran out of parts, but the Shoreditch branch was able to fix my screen and fit a new battery too. Everything was done in less than 2 working weeks. Super pleased with the job

I visted meadohall today intrested in buying a phone for my daughter travelling 45 minutes. The manager was very disrespectful and rude. I would not envourage going there
I booked an appointment and paid a £5…
I booked an appointment and paid a £5 deposit. I then got an email saying parts would be ordered. Eventually, I got an email saying that the parts had arrived and I should either book a new appointment and pay another £5, or contact the store by email.
The store did not respond when I contacted them.
When I went to the store, I was told that the part had arrived but no one could repair it until the next week. Again, I emailed the store but received no response.
When I went back the next week, I was told that actually they could not repair my model and I should have been told that sooner. I was told that I could only get my £5 back by contacting customer services.
There is no option on the website to contact customer services other than by post, hence why I am trying to contact them via Trustpilot.
They have wasted my time. This has been ongoing for almost 3 weeks
Don't believe the website
I booked a slot in Gateshead Metro Centre for 10am for a battery change. The website clearly stated it would take 1 hour. Once at the shop, I was told it would take 4 hours. I pointed out what the website said, but not sure the employee believed me. I was then stuck in a shopping centre, with it being too far to drive home and back again, and missed work. Not happy.
THEFT TOOK PLACE AND I STILL PAID FOR IT.
Sent my phone out for repair, got an email with photographic evidence to show the box was tampered with during royal mail transit. The thieves left the phone case in the box. I asked if police were involved and took the phone-case as forensic evidence. They said “no it is being investigated by royal mail internally”. I kept reiterating that theft has taken place, you could potentially have fingerprint evidence which you have also tampered with, I kept asking why police were not involved?
They have replaced my phone but have still charged me for a original IPHONE screen repair that never happened. I questioned their T&Cs and why the business themselves are not insured on losses that is not their fault to protect its customers for losses/ theft. All thats stated in Ts &Cs is that they will offer a replacement, for me it has taken a month.
I later found out this business IS NOT FCA APPROVED, via calls to the financial ombudsman. It feels as though I have paid and been robbed into buying another IPHONE that is not mine. Thank you for replacing it, now where is my refund for the work that was never carried out? and why did you not call police during an incident and fail to preserve evidence for a formal criminal investigation? It feels as though you have robbed me of money and dignity now that my personal data, pictures, contacts, bank info along with other sensitive data lost/ stolen which I am never going to get back. You as a business failed to protect my dignity on this. Thank you for offering to return my phone case but no thanks, that should have ended up bagged in a police locker.
I think you as a business know when a refund is due and it comes across you genuinely don’t care about your customers.

Needed the battery replaced in my S22ultra. Very straightforward from booking my appointment online; really helpful staff in store, then was finished and ready to be picked up ahead of the time frame initially advised.
