Lifetime Guarantee not valid - be aware or loopholes used to get out of warranty
Purchased a screen with a lifetime guarantee. The screen failed and have been told that because a sticker was removed that there is no guarantee. This was not mentioned at the time of screen replacement or included in the leaflet attached to the receipt when given. Considering the cost was over £360.00 which I paid because it came with a guarantee I am very disappointed. The screen failed not through negligence/fault of my own. I would not trust or recommend ismash as the guarantee I relied on was worthless. Also at the time of replacement they replaced the battery at a cost of £80 without asking upfront.
Appalling Customer Service, Damaged Camera, and Insulting Behavior at Harrow Branch
I recently visited the iSmash Harrow branch (Regus, 79 College Rd) on Thursday, 23rd April for my iPhone 11 battery replaced. Instead of a standard repair, I experienced the most unprofessional, incompetent, and frankly insulting customer service I have ever encountered.
Immediately after the technician handed my phone back, I took a test photo and noticed the camera was completely blurry. I have the EXIF data of this photo proving the exact time the issue started—right as the phone was handed back to me. When I pointed out the white light bleeding on the corner of the screen, the technician tried to gaslight me, claiming he "couldn't see it." He finally opened it again to seat it properly.
Shortly after leaving, I noticed my camera lens was now fogged up from the inside due to his poor handling. When I returned for the second time, he completely ignored my greeting. He was incredibly rude, complained that I was "interrupting" him, and tried to blame me by saying he only changed the battery.
As a professional photographer with 10 years of experience, I know the difference between external smudges and internal condensation. The absolute worst part was his final insult: after half-heartedly trying to clean his own mess and handing the phone back, he actually had the audacity to tell me to "go wash your hands," implying the blurriness was my fault.
This level of incompetence and blatant disrespect is unacceptable under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I came in for a simple battery replacement and left with a compromised camera module and insulted by your staff. I expect a full explanation from the Head Office and an immediate resolution regarding this damaged component.

Took my iPhone in to get a new battery at the Canary Wharf store ..it was replaced in less than one hour .. very happy with the service phone is like new now !! Many thanks .. very helpful staff as well
Life time warranty is a scam..
Life time warranty is a scam... They will never replace your screen again. It will be always out of stock when you go through warranty period.

While other stores wouldn't help me, David sorted everything out and got my phone fixed for free under the Google warranty. If you need a repair, go see David—he’s a credit to the team! 5 stars.
Extremely Poor Repair and Unacceptable Customer Service at iSmash London Bridge
I’m extremely angry and deeply disappointed with the service I received at iSmash London Bridge.
I went in for a simple screen replacement, but instead of fixing my phone, the repair has completely ruined it. As soon as I got home, I noticed a serious issue with the front camera—it had a large black ring around it and was barely functioning. Shortly after that, Face ID completely stopped working as well.
I contacted them straight away by email, but I was completely ignored with no response at all. The following day, my phone stopped working entirely, leaving me without a usable device because of their poor repair work.
When I called from my parent’s phone to try to get urgent help, the staff member I spoke to was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he had a terrible attitude and eventually hung up on me, which is completely unacceptable for any business.
This whole experience has been beyond frustrating. What was meant to be a straightforward repair has caused multiple serious faults, and the customer service has been shocking from start to finish. I would strongly warn others to avoid this location.
Low quality battery used??
Had a battery replaced 3 weeks ago. It stopped charging suddenly. I booked a replacement. Was told it would be 2 hours so they could run a diagnostic....even though I'd already don't that and it was the battery...came back after 2 hours to be told they were busy and needed another hour. Not impressed.

Battery worse than that replaced
Apple iPhone battery was 80% capacity so I had replaced. The replaced battery was noticeably worse, dropping a percent per minute. I took the phone back to have another one but same issue - meaning could have been simply damage in process. They would not give me refund. So I've effectively paid to worsen my phone.

Took my Samsung S24 Ultra to the Ismash branch on Bull St in Birmingham. The rep gave an exceptional service. I was struggling to back up my phone and expressed to him that my mums 80th birthday, my anniversary and uni graduation photos were on my phone and he guided me through backing them up- meant the world to me. Lost one star because of the 72hrs delay in communications has to the out of phone issue.
Will never use them again
Will never use them again. A totally disappointing experience. Took our iPad into Bluewater to repair a damaged screen. When doing the repair they damaged the connectors so had to send the iPad somewhere else to be repaired. We were promised a free screen protector and discount for our inconvenience. We waited 3 weeks to get the iPad back and in this time the communication from there end was non existent. On finally picking up the iPad we found there was no screen protector and the discount offered was an insult. We would never recommend this shop or use them again.

Battery change, S23Ultra. Correct price, good service, friendly staff, no problem. I walked two hours in the jungle without phone, but I get it back with a new battery ;). The iSmash is on the street!
