AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! If only I could give this company zero stars or better yet have them taken to jail. They have taken over $50million in debt from people like myself and many others and run. Absolutely scam artists that knew the law and how to find loop holes to invest in dodgy places. Currently looking for a lawyer to get my money back along with many others. Hoping for a class action.

It's all gone to s**t hasn't it

It's all gone to s**t hasn't it? I read an earlier comment from one other Investor RH - thanks for the advise. I want to reiterate his comments and if you haven't engaged someone to help you through this procedure you need to get in touch with Adrian 'Hawkes'. While he's a solicitor based in SE Queensland it matters not where you live - do it, and do it now before it's too late. They are representing me and a group of others, and I urge you to contact him as soon as possible. We are stronger as a group than as a single individual.

had put my money

had put my money into IncomeDirect believing I was making a legitimate investment. At first, I had no reason to think otherwise. But when I tried to recover my capital, everything changed. I started having problems getting my money back, and the more I tried to resolve the situation directly, the more uncertain everything became.

I kept communicating with them because I believed there had to be a way to resolve it. I was given assurances that my funds would be released, but instead I found myself stuck in a situation where I was constantly waiting, following up, and worrying about whether I would ever see my money again.

Eventually, I realized I couldn't keep handling it on my own. I gathered all of my transaction records, messages, payment details, and other documentation and reported the situation to #Mon𝅶tera𝅶s𝅶ec.

That was the turning point for me.

They helped me organize everything and pursue the matter properly. After the situation was challenged and reviewed, IncomeDirect ultimately released my capital.

The relief I felt when I finally got my money back is difficult to explain. By that point, I genuinely believed I could lose everything I had put into the investment.

Looking back, I wish I had acted sooner. The biggest lesson I took from this is that when you're having problems recovering your own money, you shouldn't keep relying on promises that everything will eventually be resolved.

I'm sharing my experience because someone else may be in that exact position right now. Document everything, don't send additional money simply because you're promised your funds will be released, and don't be afraid to seek outside help when something doesn't feel right.

Indirect Ponzi

When I tried to get into my account after a while the people who are supposed to help me did not get back to me. incomedirect is supposed to be an app that helps investors like me.. I lost a lot of money $533,000 because their system was not working right.
I think incomedirect is doing something bad. They are taking peoples cryptocurrency without asking them.

They keep taking the money I try to withdraw and putting it into something without my permission. They also stop my investments early. Put them into longer ones without giving me any money.
I was going to lose all the money I put in $533,000 and the extra fees I paid. But then I got some help from 𝗀𝗋𝖺𝗒-𝖽𝗈𝗇 𝖫𝖫𝖢. I filled out a form on their website. They gave me someone to talk to about my problem. They officially talked to incomedirect on February 20th. By June 14th I got all my money back.

It's flat out disgraceful to see individuals acting with such blatant dishonesty and corruption. The directors of Marbanc and Income Direct have caused immense stress to me as an investor.

Adrian Hawkes, a solicitor in QLD, is representing me and a group of others, and I urge you to contact him to help bring these scum to justice.
While I'm not optimistic about recovering my $320,000 investment, I hope that by joining forces, we can prevent them from screwing others over, and if some money does come back, that would be amazing.

Be scared, be very very scared to invest. Read reviews and you will know the answer.

I find the thread of these emails quite fascinating. Currently I am owed $650K + compounding interest that was supposed to be paid to me on April 4th.
I am currently in the middle of legal proceedings with both a solicitor and barrister.
I was offered a deal last Friday for a payment plan with the condition that I removed my reviews.
If you read the last review posted on this site (obviously prior to mine) the customer was paid in full. Hence, they seem to have "selective" cash flow issues.
I would like to understand why a client was paid when I have been told all funds have been frozen.
This company seems to only exist on a sporadic basis, has no company office, no account managers to talk to and the director of the company and resigned and appointed new directors multiple times. It seems to be almost in 12 month stints, one comes in and then it is transferred back! One has to ask WHY!!!!
I had DB looking after my account but he was told to tell anyone who was considering legal action that he would no longer be allowed to communicate with them.
It's definitely a story for 60 minutes, ASIC, the banks involved and any medium that can warn people to stay away.
One poor reviewer has given up on getting his money back as it was invested by his Mother who has PASSED AWAY.
They have my retirement money so I will never give up.

Income Direct payment each month were…

Income Direct payment each month were regular but in last 4 months they have stopped . reported as trouble with Westpac and that they are suing Westpac.
I can't get any useful information about there financial position and have contacted ASIC and lodged a complaint. I also had a conversation with an ASIC representative who stated that unless they get significant number of complaints they may not take any action. I urge anyone in the situation with IC to make a formal complaint to ASIC. It will be best if ASIC intervenes at an earl stage so that the true position is determined and hopefully ASIC will talk to both parties (IC and Westpac) to get an earl resolution.

Who really is Income Direct

Whilst I am not an investor in Income Direct I was an investor in Marbanc Private whose bank account was frozen by CBA causing a considerable loss of unpaid interest . As a result of that blockage we were fortunate that our capital was eventually returned to us by CBA under the designation “FRAUD REVERSAL’.

It should be noted that there is a number of sister companies all at some stage claiming to be a wholly owned subsidiary of a large American Investment company by the name of my Marbanc International Corporation all offering and all most identical product. All 3 of whom are touting an all but identical unregulated product. Income Direct is one of them,

Marbanc Private not being able to continue business as a result of the CBA bank closure they morphed all their business into a Phoenix company by the name of MB Private Pty Limited which offers an identical financial product and is still operating today still seeking investments . It should not be so operating.

It should be noted that this so called large international investment company by the name of Marbanc International Corporation was, at the last viewing, not in good standing with the Delaware authorities they having not lodged
financial documents as required . There is a huge amount of abnormalities in this company's website which gives no indication of any person that you can contact, of an address in New York that is a small shared virtual office located above a fast food shop with a standard sized door opening from the street
and a telephone number whose Exchange links to downtown Los Angeles area!

Our attempts to secure loss of interest from Marbanc Direct have indicated that today Westpac Bank have also blocked their other bank account just as they have done with Income Direct .

It is strange that MB Private Pty Ltd. have not suffered a similar fate and continue to solicit investments and this is a matter that the authorities should be taking up .

In addition to those three sister companies an operation CHIRPY also claims to be owned by Marbanc International Corporation and are operating in the Housing Sector.

It has recently come to my attention and it would appear Marbanc to be now commencing operations in New Zealand

My father invested $250,000 with Income…

My father invested $250,000 with Income Direct in 2023 and initially received some interest payments. However, for more than eight months now, he has received nothing further, despite the investment having reached its maturity date and the funds being due for release.

The most concerning aspect has been the complete lack of communication. Repeated attempts to obtain updates have been unsuccessful. When I contacted the company directly, I was advised by reception not to expect a call back, which was extremely alarming given the amount of money involved and the urgency of the situation.

My father requires access to these funds for medical treatment, making the ongoing delays and absence of meaningful communication even more distressing.

Based on our experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering investing with this company to conduct extensive due diligence and seek independent financial and legal advice before committing funds.

Due to the difficulties we have encountered, I have also been in contact with Slater and Gordon to explore potential legal options available to affected investors. Anyone who believes they may have experienced similar issues should consider obtaining independent legal advice regarding their own circumstances.

We are simply seeking the return of funds that have reached maturity and clear communication from the company. To date, neither has been provided. Extremely frustrating.

Why did my monthly interest cease as soon as I advised I wanted my money back when I had consistently been paid on time every time for 22 months.

Whilst Income Direct have stated they are no longer on-boarding new clients, why did it take until I started legal action for the statement to appear on their website and indeed if they have issues with banks withholding their funds - where did they get the funds to "placate" the current investors to pay their monthly interest. I was paid on time every time and assume that would still be the case right up until I requested my money back and gave them 60 days notice. Immediately my monthly interest charge ceased. That is NOT a coincidence.
I will assume this happened to all and sundry not just me. They have a pool of money and were still on-boarding until this issue became and legal challenge.
I'm willing to spend every cent I have to bring the Director (who spreads his responsiblities by resigning and appointing different directors then coming back in). Just that action should raise flags with investing.
You can still chase your money even if the person who invested has passed away. Don't let them win this fight.

Like everyone else that has complained…

Like everyone else that has complained about Income Direct on this site, I just received a reply from them regarding our investments, stating that they acknowledge our extremely poor reviews and that they are working with their legal advisers to address our concerns. They also state that "since early 2026 the company discontinued onboarding new clients whilst this was being resolved". Although they do state NEW clients, I'm just wondering why I was sent an email from the new Executive Chairman on the 27th of April 2026 offering me a short-term allocation with a minimum investment of $50k. What an insult to my intelligence to think that I would even consider investing a further $50k after my mother invested $220k of which she will never now get to see (she passed in March). I replied to the executive chairman's offer but have yet to receive a reply (nor have I seen my mother's investment returned which was requested last October in accordance with Income Direct's guidelines) - I'm not holding my breath for a reply anytime soon.

This is my response after seeing all the others getting the same generic email.
Income direct should have paid me on maturity. Maturity in my case was before the so called action of Westpac as reported by Income direct.
So I would challenge your response that the funds were frozen as I was not paid in accordance to the maturity date.

Issues with Income Direct

My husband and I have found ourselves in exactly the same position with no payments made for the last two months. We have had no response to our e-mails to Income Direct and our account managers e-mail is no longer active. We are visiting family in the UK at present which has made contacting Income Direct and solicitors difficult.
Kyalla Bardney-Battaglia, would you feel comfortable sharing the business address for your parents’ solicitor? You also mentioned sharing the records from ASIC.
We would be keen to join a class action but could not find Jodie Maree on Facebook.

Warning: Income Direct Investors Beware

I encourage all who have impacted by Income Direct to join the class action with Slater and Gordon. We need six more individuals/ parties who have been directly impacted to complete the new class action application form to commence action. Enough is enough.
My previous post- I had one email with an updated on issues with Westpac- I wonder if Westpac knows and how Westpac would respond? Income Direct to date has not adequately responded to non-payments of dividends or letters of demand to return funds to charities/NFPs. Warning investors don't put your money here. We haven't seen our charities money, they are not members of AFCA and have no principles. Answer our emails and return our charities money immediately.

Follow-up review for information…

Follow-up review for information purposes only

This is a follow-up to my previous review and is based on information I have personally confirmed or obtained from available records.

Income Direct’s published contact number, 1300 798 334, appears to be answered by an off-site virtual reception / answering service. Calls are taken as messages, but in my experience, return calls have not been received.

I have also confirmed that Income Direct staff may attend and work from the Marbanc International address at Level 8, 179 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.

However, Income Direct Australia Pty Ltd’s ASIC registered office is listed as:

Level 14, 333 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000

I understand this address operates as a virtual office / mail-handling address.

For anyone serving a formal demand, default notice, or other legal notice, I strongly recommend checking your own Bill Facility Agreement, especially the Notices clause. In the agreement I have reviewed, clause 13 deals with notices and refers to the address and email details set out in Schedule 1.

Accordingly, any person in a similar position should carefully check their own Schedule 1 and consider sending notices by all available methods, including the Schedule 1 email address, any other known Income Direct email addresses, and registered post to the ASIC registered office.

I also recommend that affected investors consider lodging a report with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), especially where payments have been missed, communication has stopped, or where Income Direct has referred to issues such as “liquidity” or banking problems as the reason payments or funds cannot be returned.

This review is not legal advice. Anyone affected should obtain independent legal advice and keep copies of all documents, emails, call logs, payment records, formal notices, and proof of service.

Anyone affected is welcome to connect with me on Facebook: Kosiaa Unsi.

Missed payments, poor communication and now legal action being considered

My experience with Income Direct has been extremely disappointing and concerning.

Income Direct has failed to make agreed monthly interest payments under my facilities for multiple months now. I have attempted to resolve the matter directly and have provided them with more than enough time to respond, explain their position, and remedy the missed payments.

I have now had to issue formal written notices, including a notice of default and a letter of demand. Despite this, the matter remains unresolved and I am now seeking legal advice regarding recovery action.

The lack of clear communication and failure to meet payment obligations has caused significant concern. This is not what I expected from a company promoting fixed income facilities and regular monthly interest payments.

Based on my experience, I would urge others to be extremely cautious, and stay away.

This review is based on my personal experience and the steps I have taken to try to resolve the matter professionally before considering legal action.

Reply to IncomeDirect 25/05/2026

Income Direct’s reply states that the Company has experienced “unforeseen banking difficulties which has impacted its short term liquidity” and that it is “working with its legal advisors” and asks clients to “be patient at this time”.

However, this does not resolve the issue raised in my review.

Income Direct’s own contract states that “Interest payments are paid monthly in arrears by the tenth calendar day of the following calendar month”. The contract also defines an Event of Default as including where “the Drawer fails to pay interest in accordance with the Bill”.

The agreement further states: “This Agreement is governed by the law in force in the State of Victoria, Australia.” Income Direct’s own material also represents that the Bill of Exchange documents are legally enforceable and require Income Direct to meet its principal and interest obligations.

In my view, operational or banking issues do not remove Income Direct’s contractual obligation to make agreed payments. To date, I have not been provided with evidence explaining how the alleged banking difficulties prevent payment under my facilities, nor have I received a clear payment date, repayment plan, or enforceable proposal to remedy the default.

I initially raised concerns about from 10th March 2026 missed payment on 11/04/2026 as a 2nd month of missed payments had occurred. I then followed up on 21/04/2026 and then issued formal written notices, including a Notice of Default and Letter of Demand on the 22/04/2026 following a phone call when someone finally got in contact with me. Despite allowing a reasonable period of time for Income Direct to respond and remedy the matter, the issue remains unresolved.

There also appears to have been no proactive communication to clients/creditors about this banking matter until very recently. My concern is that clients were left to chase answers only after payments were missed.

I remain willing to resolve the matter professionally, but patience is not a substitute for meeting contractual payment obligations. Unless Income Direct provides a clear and enforceable payment solution, I will continue seeking legal advice and pursuing recovery of the funds owed.
