Excellent service and a great experience
had a very positive experience with Homeline Furniture. The ordering process was simple and straightforward, and the communication throughout the process was excellent.
The delivery was smooth and the product arrived in great condition. The quality of the furniture is excellent and exactly as described on the website.

Disappointing
I bought a chest of drawers from Homeline because I wanted something more substantial than IKEA-style flat-pack furniture. The furniture itself is good quality, but the description said “while some assembly is required”, which seriously understated what was involved.
The chest arrived completely flat-packed and was extremely complicated to assemble. An experienced professional took four hours to put it together and commented that the instructions were poor and the unit unusually heavy and complicated.
I had considerable stress and inconvenience arranging this at short notice and ultimately paid €120 for assembly.
Homeline eventually agreed to reimburse the €120, which I appreciate, but throughout my complaint I felt they focused on the assembly cost rather than addressing my actual concern — that the extent of the assembly was not made clear before purchase.
Very disappointing customer service, particularly given the price of the furniture.

The product descriptions for our furniture are provided by suppliers. Following your feedback, we have reviewed the wording and made the relevant changes to ensure the assembly requirements are clearer for customers.
When you contacted us, we understood that your main concern was that you had not realised the furniture would arrive flat-packed and that the assembly was more involved than you had anticipated. In an effort to resolve the matter, we offered to either cover the €120 assembly cost or arrange collection of the furniture for a full refund. We ultimately reimbursed the €120 assembly cost, as agreed.
We appreciate that you had also requested a further €150 compensation. However, having already offered reimbursement of the assembly cost, as well as the option of returning the furniture for a full refund, we were unable to agree to an additional payment for compensation.
We are sorry that you feel we focused solely on the assembly cost. That was not our intention. We considered the options available to us and made what we felt were reasonable offers to resolve the issue, including covering the full assembly cost incurred.
We have nevertheless taken your comments regarding the product description on board and have made changes to improve the clarity of the information provided to customers.

Horrible experience!! We were waiting for our table 3 months. Then realised quality of the table is very bad. I wrote an email to Homeline Furniture , they responded quickly and going to investigate.

We were disappointed to see your 1-star review today, as we have only been made aware of the issue with your table 2 hours ago.
Your order was placed online on 7 April. At the time, we contacted you to advise that the item was temporarily out of stock and provided an estimated restock date, which you accepted. We subsequently kept you updated regarding the expected arrival of the table.
Our records show that your order was delivered on the 29th of may which was approx. 7 weeks after the order was placed.
We received your email this morning advising us of the issue with the table, and we responded to confirm that we had received your complaint and that we would review the matter and come back to you.
We understand that you are entitled to share your experience in your review. However, we do feel it is important to clarify that we have only been notified of the fault today and have not yet had an opportunity to investigate or resolve the matter.
Once we have an update, we will get back to you.
