Great bbq , very happy 😊

Paid on line & collected in store. Very quick & easy. Really Helpful staff too. I found more choice in homebase than in other stores.

Avoid buying anything of their own brand. The quality is shockingly poor
I Submitted a complaint as they refuse to accept the Powerbase lawn mower has 2 years warranty
(as written on the products manual) The paperwork even stated that any fault within 2 years to return to the nearest Homebase store. The deputy manager refused to accept this (even though it is clearly written)
I made a complaint and nothing has moved forward .

My experience at Homebase was made so easy when I spoke to a staff member called Rosie. She was really helpful and got me the gas I needed for my bbq.

Friendly staff on customer service desk, were very welcoming and got my click and collect without a problem.

The POWERBASE Lawnmower warranty states "Any claim under this warranty must be made by going to your nearest Homebase store, taking your proof of purchase with you, and claims must be made within 2 years of the date of purchase"
The throttle cable snapped on my lawnmower today (having purchased the lawnmower on 26th May 2023) so I went to my local store (Blackpole, Worcester) only to be told point blankly by the deputy manager that it wasn't a Homebase issue and that I needed to contact the company (despite the fact that I produced the instruction manual where it states the above clearly on the back page of the document).
Obviously there is a contradiction of terms here and either the deputy manger needs additional training to understand what the product documents state in relation to warranty issues and the stores obligations or the documents produced by Powerbase (coreservices.co.uk) are clearly inaccurate and misleading which contravenes any warranty agreement in place

The staff member who looked after my collection plus an exchange of products was very helpful and efficient

I ordered a product on next day delivery, waited in all day. Checked on the map, driver was 1 mile away when I got a message to say I had missed the delivery. Checked on the door bell footage, they didn’t even turn up to the property !

We have ordered a new kitchen through the Worcester Homebase store with the support of Katie Griffiths. Katie has been so helpful and supportive throughout the process. She helped us to work out the style and design we loved, whilst sticking to our budget. Beautiful kitchen and very helpful, supportive staff. Thank you so much Katie

visited homebase 24/5/24 purchased outdoor plants because I received an email on 23/5/24 giving 20% off all outdoor plants, when I got to the till I was told there was no discount. Feeling let down

A Yodel collection has been arranged. I was told they would contact me with a collection time. It's 11.30am and no collection or notification of timeslot yet.
Customer Services cannot help.
So do I have to wait in all day???
Why not just send us a return label, it would save me wasting my time.
I will never order from Home base again.

The only member of staff I saw was super productive young lady; she was serving on tills, handling my collect order (I’d arrived too early but she was unfazed and directed me to the stock) and just calmly and efficiently getting on with it. Felt like she was running the whole store.

Came in today (24/05) to exchange my empty bbq gas bottle. After a load of hassle at local garages and being fobbed off on the cost of refilling the bottle. I came into the Worcester store, a colleague straightaway took my empty bottle away to exchange and I was served at the tills by Sarah, who was awesome and sorted out my exchange in such a speedy professional manner. Highly recommended and took no time at all (less than ten mins) from walking in to walking out with a refilled gas bottle!

Collect one hour after order - bunkem! Ordered 17:07 and store open until 20:00. Phoned store twice after 18:00 to be told by recorded message all colleagues busy, please call later. Try to do job outside working hours but have to call over lunch next day. Thanks for the assist - I see my payment was not delayed!
