Hired DR. Fix It To fix water dripage in bath tub. They put a kit in existing faucet took all of 15 minutes. Charged me $650. I'm 85 years old and on a walker. This is a rental and I just told them to take care of it. I could not go over there, I just trusted them. They sure ripped me off, I got their name from Home adviser's. This Company should be removed from your list. There associate talked to a woman owner and she said nothing could be done after my hounding and reviews she did refund me $64.00 Big deal I still got ripped off.

Great service and installation from Home Genius Exteriors on my roof! Roofers were hard working and did a fantastic job, Cleanup was exceptional. Project manager Mark Johnson the project manager was professional and answered all my questions and not a single complaint from me!

Within seconds of submitting a request for a bathtub replacement my phone began to melt with telemarketer reps and phone-pressure scammers. All hours of the day & night. Same places calling under different fake numbers. Cancelled the request in the app, but to no avail. Still constant telemarketing, no local, independent contractors.

They partner with companies that take your information and submit to angis and you will receive spam calls non stop. Just google a local contractor

Absolute worst way to spend money as a contractor. Promises leads, sends nothing more than harvested data. 3 months and I was only able to establish and schedule a meeting with one lead. The rest were dead numbers, no replies at all, claimed they were not even looking to remodel, or sent some strange sounding message back. When I reported to the BBB they claim that they never promised I would sell to the leads- that's not the complaint, the complaint is you cannot even establish contact!

As a small business owner I used home advisor / Angie Leeds for 3 years and two out of the three years has been horrible. I was charged for leads on multiple different occasions without accepting them and while my account was supposed to be paused. I've called multiple times tried to get reimbursed for the leads that I was charged for that I did not accept. There was also leads that was sent to me that I was accredited for and while my account was paused / inactive I was charged back for those credits for leads that I wasn't supposed to be charged for. All in all working with them is a complete nightmare.

Most of the time, they hound you with phone calls to see if you want to book someone. But, in my case, a pro called off at the last minute three times in a row. I am done. They insisted that someone would come the third time. NOPE. Do not use these people if you can help it.

I've been working with the Island Girl's Cleaning Crew for 2 years. I've so appreciated their dependability. They are here once a month cleaning, dusting, mopping the floors of our living room, dining room, kitchen, office, 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths of our 2-story home. I know I can count on them to confirm their time/date of arrival. Importantly, the crew is trustworthy and fairly priced. They do a very good job such that I never worry about drop in visitors seeing a dusty, unkempt house. I'm very happy to have found them!

worst company to try and work with. Started 3 years ago and never received anything and only cost me money. They gave me credits to work with but then said They did not want to work with us and kept the credits. They had a third-party call and ask me a lot of info which I declined to tell them anything because Angi/HomeAdvisor didn't tell me they would call spent over 100 hours over three years and did not get anything. There are better ways to get customers.

I was looking for some high end engineered concrete work and all I got was "leads" to two small timers who do "decorative" concrete and sidewalks.

Homeadvisor blocks email contact from customers, so that tells you something.

Waste of my time. From the initial process (I got punted to a "specialist" whose only role was to connect me to another "specialist" who entered info, for benefit of the next "specialist", and bum steer is all I got in the end. Better off with the Yellow Pages (is that still a thing?). Being as I'm still responsible for vetting, and the only vetting here seems to be "pay to play" (certainly not any effort at matching more than keywords).

I needed a fence repainted and our cement patio tiled. Both projects were completed by M&R Janitorial and Handyman Services. I was looking on Home advisor, but found they wanted more info than I wanted to give because I was not ready for companies to contact me. I back out of their service and still received calls from contractors.

Terrible company. Do not use them as a contractor. they say you'll get 1000 leads for 750$ and i got maybe 40, what you actually get are 1000$ "WORTH" of leads that aren't worth squat or are completely fake. they charge 157$ for an opportunity (maybe outside your coverage area) whether you get the lead or not if you "show interest" but give you no number or way of contacting the customer. the leads are questionable at best, some wont show where they are for, very little detail on what needs to be done. the phone numbers often associated with the lead are from tim buk too or not from your state when you do get a number. some leads you get the customer tries to get free tech support over the phone if they are even angi customers (almost suspect home advisor employees). they have a set charge also for categories for leads no matter the cost. so a job i may only charge 100$ for that lead for that job is 157$. You wont make money using them, you'll lose money. i spent almost a 1000$ dollars and did 3 jobs for them totaling under 300$. This platform is a complete scam, do not use them. they should to be investigated, the way they conduct business is criminal and people and contractors should know. they also should be prosecuted.

We had a little problem getting together with John Rupp Painting suburban Pittsburgh but when they got here the work they did was professional, done right and done on the time frame that they had given us. They power-washed and then stained the wooden 2" X 12" wooden supports for our backyard deck with no issues, no splashing, no delays. Clean-up afterwards was flawless, too. Highly Recommended!! The price was very reasonable, also. Finally, John and partner were very personable and friendly, too.

I would like to give a five star to the
David Hazen siding and gutter contractors.
Through out each process of gutter guards and completely encasing my home with James Hardie Siding they made sure all projects were done correctly.
Some difficulty came with the fading of grout which James Hardie recommended to match the color. They painfully came and made sure the problem was corrected.
Kudos to an small contractor who stands behind there work and fixes problems

But now iget an email every single day about everything under the sun from them, EXCEPT what i originally ask for. Ive unsubscribed 8 times and sent two emails, all ignored.

I am so tired of y’all stealing money from hard working contractors. Y’all send over leads, but the so called customers won’t even answer the phones.
Then you steal 100.00 from my account. I want my money back! This company is a fraud.

I recently hired Moca Contractors LLC to fill my inground pool with dirt. These guys were great. Luis Morales Jr, his father Luis and the hardest worker “Valentin” made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. They were extremely professional, on time and worked very late the first night to complete the majority of the work. Pricing was very fair. I would definitely recommend their services.

This company relentlessly sends me all kinds of spam emails, ranging from plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc. Shouldn't they wait until I request such? And I have no way to UNSUBSCRIBE from their list.

Homeadvisor has gone down the drain. Lead quality has gone to trash. And for some reason every time you call them, it seems you’re calling another country. Their credit department is a joke. I received several bogus leads with no destination zip code, wrong numbers and people that never requested such services. When I contact Homeadvisor the deny credits cause they couldn’t verify with person on the other line. This company has become a joke. Now I know why they got sued and lost millions. I don’t recommend anyone to advertise with them. They are a total scam and their customer service is a joke. I’d be embarrassed if I was the owner of this company
