I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to do so on this occasion.
I am a small construction business owner and have opened an account with Hiedelberg.
Today I visited 2 batching plants in Maidstone and Dagenham to collect a small amount of tarmac from each depot.
Both times I was greeted with a friendly reception and my day was made smoother due to their great customer service and advice.
It’s easy to be motivated to complain, but not on this occasion.

I bought 10 bags of the Hanson multi purpose concrete.. more than enough to do the job I needed..I thought it was a good buy just to add water and i read how much water to add and how much it would cover per bag depending on how deep you do it..I followed the instructions cos there really isn't much to read and was very deflated and the coverage...it's gets no where near a square meter at 75mm or even 70mm deep..couldn't screed it off properly or even use a float from the type of gravel added into it.. frustrating..I ended up having to buy more so I bought blue circle instead...it mixes better and you can screed it or use a float so much easier and they use a pea gravel as Hanson is more like chipped slate

They do not care for the environment or the local people.
In pontypridd, Wales, they have fought to extend their already large quarry which now means that they will be 119 meters away from the closest house.! Thank u very much for ruining my house, my health and my mental wellbeing

Racist members of staff at the Wandsworth plant and management allow them to get away with it.
Disgusting culture and very surprised this still occurs in our day and age.

Dealing with Hansons Derby, Banbury, London, Kent, Tunbridge Wells has been an absolute pleasure.

Specifically accepted quote on basis of lorry size given in quote. Load turned up in full size lorry which was over size width restriction I gave in original request for quote. Refused to refund payment. I'm not accepting this and am having to start legal action totally unacceptable. Further to above after disputing that I should loose payment and threatening legal action they have now offered a full refund. I still maintain I shouldn't have had to go to this length to get a refund but at least its sorted

Ordered concrete for Friday morning at 8.30, no show by 9.30
4 employees waiting to lay.
Phoned Hanson,told be there by
9.55, phoned again at 10.30 approximately, was told why have
You been pushed back.
Was told lorry had broken down on loading bay.
Hanson said we will be there by
3pm, I phoned at 2.pm to confirm
And was advised they had ran out of sand, 4 employees paid all day for doing Nothing.
Delivered on Monday.
Was informed If you want a job with Hanson the first Question they ask is CAN YOU LIE

Shocking service

1 hour between loads turns a 3 hour job into 10 hours.. Will be getting the next 1000 cube elswhere

I have a pension which HANSON are the administrators the trustees to this scheme are failing in their care of DUTY and have made themselves impossible to contact?????????
Also they have passed responsibility for this scheme to CAPITA.?????????
The disgraceful reputation of ALL administrators they could have chosen.

I want to give 0 stars but it won't let me!!!
My car suffered pothole damage a week before Xmas on Ampthill Rd Bedford, put a claim into Beds County Council but because HANSON were completing works in the area Beds CC said they (Hanson) are responsible and to take the matter up with them. 3mths later still NO resolution, the contact is poor, same replies. As an emergency worker I needed my vehicle and had to pay for an immediate repair, expense I could not afford let alone NEED with Xmas approaching along with the added stress whilst continually working during these difficult times.
Experience will be shared across other social media platforms and won't be recommending
Any of their products.

Hansons are useless! All other companies have shut due to the virus and they are nicking customers while the proper companies have shut for safety. Hansons can't get work when other mixer companies are open so they do the sneaky cowardly behind the back stuff!

Concrete always late
Sometimes 3 hrs or more.
