If you are thinking about installing Grass, don't. You are volunteering your home connection, your IP address, and your hardware for a team that treats its node runners like absolute garbage.

Here is the reality of running a node on this project:

Nearly 2 Years of Exploitation for Peanuts: Users have been leaving nodes running 24/7 for almost two years. The reward at the end of the line? Payouts that amount to a few literal dollars—or cents—after millions of accumulated points. They monetize your residential connection for massive commercial scraping, while you get literal breadcrumbs.

Moving the Goalposts on Points: Mid-game, they completely altered how points are earned without proper explanation—splitting into "Uptime" and "Network" points and slashing calculations on the fly. Millions of accrued points suddenly meant nothing because they silently changed the math behind the scenes.

Zero Accountability & Total Censorship: The moment you go to their official subreddits or channels to post receipts, ask about broken metrics, or show your $2 payout for 500+ days of uptime, the mods permaban you. They have even turned off replies on social media because they can't handle the tidal wave of angry users.

This isn't a "decentralized bandwidth network." It’s a commercial proxy service using millions of people as free infrastructure while scrubbing the internet of any critical feedback. Save your bandwidth, your electric bill, and your home network. Absolute fraud.

This is the biggest scam project in the 2026 airdrop community. Don't be foolish enough to buy their tokens.

They hide behind the word "reward". most of user have been running the app in the background with active internet for almost 2 years, but the majority of users including myself only received bellow $10 even worse $0.4. They will say "you got a reward", but $0.4 after almost 2 years is an insult compared to the bandwidth and resources we give them.

When I raised concerns about high battery drain, a "purple" team member dismissed it even though Google Play itself warns: "This app may use more battery than expected due to high background activity".

When I asked about the low rewards, a moderator replied unprompted, then I asked "who ask you?" and was immediately timed out for 1 hour.

After the timeout, "purple" team members Kyra and MadMaster dismissed my concerns and changed the topic to avoid accountability. Kyra generalized the issue, saying if I was timed out there was "probably more involved" and told me to "just move on, it's not that deep".

Even their public livestream was suddenly made private and ended when users started complaining in the comments. This shows a pattern of silencing feedback instead of addressing it.

This is a clear abuse of power and disrespect to users. Do not trust this platform with your time and data.

An absolute sham\ scam. After 2 years of running nodes on two devices. Have not even accrued 3 usd's worth of rewards. Frankly insulting.

total Bait and Switch. The claimed that you could earn their native token $GRASS by allowing them to use your PC, Android, web browser etc. for bandwidth. However, as a stage 2 participant along with many others, the company basically pulled the rug, made rewards USDC ( I can't even claim mine because the gas few, conveniently that means GRASS gets to keep it), and paid out under 5$ to most of the node runners. run away from this company ASAP

This site has scammed more than 6 million people

Classic bait and switch by another scummy crypto company. After successfully winning the trust of contributors in season 1 by adequately rewarding nodes, season 2 brought on the classic greed and deception of a corporate let down.

They rewarded users in season 1 with grass tokens at decent value. They could choose to hold or sell those tokens for whatever reason. In season 2 the "rewards" if you can even call it that is pitiful cents after 2 years of dutiful contribution.

They love to paint themselves as some benevolent entity that rewards you for something other companies don't give you anything for. They neglect to inform you those "rewards" are worth less than the price of a condom.

Grass just reported $17M revenue for 2025, +600% growth in H1 2026.

Meanwhile, users who ran nodes for 2 years are reporting payouts like $14
total. Screenshots are all over X right now.
