Earlier this year, we finally had our new windows installed after some delays due to the pandemic. The installers did a fantastic job, they were punctual, polite and tidy. In truth, there were one or two minor issues with the windows, but Grabex reacted positively, delivering great customer service by sending out several service staff to resolve the problems completely. The entire team at Grabex lives and breathes windows and are dedicated to making sure their customers are happy with the final product. We would happily recommend their products and services to anyone.

Where do i start, these guys go the extra mile. my account manager Bartek is always at the end of the phone, trying to help me with technical specification, design and much more. Nothing is ever smooth but having one account manager to deal with is the best solution to issues. They took me for a tour around the premises, and I could instantly see that they have invented in there staff, equipment and quality control. Exposing there operation to us the general public instils trust and transparency. As a supplier myself, i appreciate Grabex taking the opportunity to do so. Many products on offer are comparable to the competition and beets the rest in many cases. No middle man/woman just direct to the source. I recommend this company.

Recently had replacement windows and front door supplied and fitted by Grabex who were recommended to me. Delighted with the work which was very professional and has transformed the property. Main contact was Greg Kowalczyk who was extremely helpful.

Grabex supplied our new traditional wooden sash window. It's fantastic, really good quality and craftsmanship. The fittings are also lovely and well-finished. Greg was really professional and helpful to deal with. He came quickly to take measurements and give a quote. The window was made and delivered exactly when he said it would be, despite the fact we're in the middle of an pandemic. I'm now ordering new french doors for our kitchen from Grabex too.

I used Grabex on the recommendation of my neighbours. I really liked the type of windows they had and wanted mine to match too. The installers arrived in good time every day, they were clean and tidy and left minimal mess and caused minimal disruption. The installation was of really high quality, almost no damage inside and out when fitting the windows. I was really impressed. I believe after seeing a few other quotes, that Grabex were good value for money too. Happy to recommend.

Grabex were great at every stage of the process - friendly, knowledgeable and professional throughout. The three sash windows they installed for me are of a very impressive finish, and their team were efficient and tidy too. On top of all that, they were also very reasonably priced!

Have received 3 new replacement windows today. Very pleased with the products and installation. The team were great and were happy to make good even where they didn't need to i.e. assisted in putting curtains and blinds back up etc. Very tidy, cleaning up and hoovering inside and out. After two separate installations would continue to recommend this company!

Recently had some sliding doors installed. Very pleased with the quality of the product and so have now ordered some new replacement windows. The team have been great throughout the process, responding to emails quickly and informing on timelines etc. Would definitely recommend this company!

As a customer during the covid pandemic I'm more than happy to recommend Grabex. They have installed double glazed timber sash windows to the front of my property and bifold doors on the rear.

installation quality is high (I did have a couple of minor snags on the bifold doors which Grabex have resolved)

yes there were delays due to Covid, but nothing more than expected.

WORKMANSHIP APPALLING , COMMUNICATION WORSE , TIME KEEPING INEXCUSABLE AND AFTER 30YEARS AS A DEVELOPER I CAN TRULY SAY THS COMPANY IS SHOCKING.
REGARDLESS OF COVID , GLASS DELAYS AND STAFF SHORTAGES THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR A SUB STANDARD INSTALLATION REQUIRING MANY RETURNS TO CORRECT MAJOR ERRORS AND A TOTAL DISREGARD FOR APPOINTMENT TIMES.
THIS IS AN HORRENDOUS COMPANY HEAVILY UNDER STAFFED BY THIER OWN ADMISSION AND STRETCHED BEYOND COMMITMENTS COMPOUNDED BY THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE PAID 100% IN ADVANCE , I AM HAPPY TO PROVE ALL MY COMMENTS WITH PROGRESS PICTURES LEADING UP TO AN INCOMPLETE “FINISHED” INSTALLATION WITH THE SLIDING DOORS SO TIGHT MY WIFE CANNOT USE THEM , END CAPPINGS MISSING TO MAJOR SECTIONS , GASKETS FITTED INCORRECTLY AND NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
IN ADDITION THIER FITTERS CRACKED A NEIGHBOURS ROOFLIGHT !
I COULD BE VERY VERY UNLUCKY , BUT WHEN CONSULTING WITH OTHERS IN THE DEVELOPMENT WORLD COMMUNICATION APPEARS TO BE A MAJOR FLOOR AND COMPLETED WORKS ALWAYS PROBLEMATIC

MY COMMENTS ARE FACTUAL AND TRUE , I HAVE NOTHING TO GAIN FROM MY HONEST PUBLICATION

Update (Part two)
The Grabex MD never did contact us and it took a further five man days to correct the faulty installation including removing the sliders base track as it had been installed incorrectly causing the doors to bind.
The installation still leaks and the Commercial manager is now not returning calls - no surprise .

I will keep reviewing until a satisfactory conclusion .

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY , SATISFACTION IS NOT A GLOSSY BROCHURE AND FALSE PROMISES .
IT SHOULD HAVE SIMPLY BEEN THE PRODUCT AND SERVICE THE COMPANY PROMISED , REGRETTABLY NEITHER HAVE MATERIALISED AT GRABEX.

We are so happy with our new windows – it’s one of the elements of the house which we love the most.!

We have recently renovated our home in Surrey and spent quite some time researching various companies and different options. We chose engineered hardwood from Grabex and visited the factory before committing – The level of craftsmanship clearly showed and we were particularly impressed by the in-house specialist paint spraying facility.

The acoustic glazing alongside the high quality of the frames and the skill and setup Grabex has, has resulted is a huge drop in noise from the road to the front of the house. :-)

Everyone we have had contact with at Grabex have been excellent, from our first contact all the way through to the outstanding instillation – Thank you!

We would just like to say Richard and his brother from Grabex did a great job installing 5 windows for us. They worked very well, were professional, polite , neat, clean and very tidy.
We would like to thank Grabex for a great installation with which we are very happy.

I would like to echo the comments of a post made on the 13th December 2019. We were also met by a very friendly sales person who sold us a set of Bi-Folds.

Grabex were very quick to take our money (the full amount and a very considerable amount that has taken us years to get together) and then the problems started.

Doors were promised two to three weeks from receipt of payment and never delivered. All of our building works were based around receipt of these doors and had to be put on hold. We chased and chased to find out where our doors were, and received no reply and no updates. When we finally got a response they simply blamed their supplier and hung up.

When the doors finally arrived 4 weeks after they were originally promised Grabex only provided one delivery driver who was unable to get the doors out of the van alone and couldn't deliver them into the house unless we assisted in taking them off and carrying them through. The weight of the frame was extremely heavy which resulted in the corner of the frame getting damaged and serious injury to my foot.

We were told this was our fault and that Grabex delivery doesn't include taking the doors out of the van and delivering them safely in to your home. To quote the delivery driver "I could have stayed in my van and just told you to take them off. That's what Grabex will say if you complain". There was also a suggestion that it was our fault for ordering the frame in one whole piece rather than in bits.

I will be picking this up direct with Grabex but doubt they will answer my calls.

I wonder how well the skip delivery industry would do if they adopted a similar approach?!!! I wonder what would have happened if there was no one physically able in the household to carry the doors in? Do Grabex solely provide a service to those able to lift a metal door frame that I imagine weighs well over 100KG? Should they be advertising themselves as a service only suitable for bodybuilders? These are all questions I would be keen to get the answer to, however now they have my money, I doubt I will.

Perhaps we were naïve to not insist they have someone else come and help unload the doors. We had just waited so long and were desperate to continue with the works to our first ever family home. Perhaps we were naïve to think that a door company might relish feeding in to that experience with the hope of repeat business in the future.

I remember thinking Grabex was an unusual name for a door company when we first started with them, but now I get it. They were very quick to GRAB and take our money..............and then they EXIT.

We have been impressed with the knowledge, suggestions and support throughout the sales process. Greg Kowalczyk was very friendly and helpful.
We are also very happy with the quality of the windows themselves and the fitters were very courteous and professional.
We would happily recommend Grabex.

Great company to deal with as I ordered the doors with internal blinds myself. Not being in the trade the Lady I dealt with was excellent and talked me through the process. She was also extremely helpful afterwards with my questions. Would highly recommend.

Very good quality timber windows, happy with the purchase, ended up being the best value from three quotes. All on time no delays etc. Greg Kowalcyzk was very helped and responsive throughout the process.

Let me start with positive: very pleasant sales person and easy to arrange a date to fit the windows, from there is a long painful journey, appealing customer service, no replies, no phone backs. still stuck with not finished windows/doors, have tried to ask for owner's email address but have been told to contact service team again. will never use them again and will make sure none of my friends as well.

We changed all of our garden doors for new ones made of timber, and we are very pleased with the product. The new doors look beautiful, the installers were professional and well mannered, prices were competitive and everything went smooth. I have had a very good experience with the team at all points of the project, from providing multiple options/quotes to the installation. I wish I had done this work earlier and would definitely recommend Grabex. Thank you!
