I recently opened an Apple Card account…

I recently opened an Apple Card account in order to take advantage of a 0% apr financing on a new computer. The bank gave me a line of credit just shy of the computer that meets my needs after sales tax. When I requested a credit limit increase, their representative did not inform me they would be performing a hard pull which decreased my credit score, then declined bc the account was too new. This is for someone with a 760 credit score utilizing only 1.5% of their total available credit and a relatively high income. Basically this card is worthless to me and was an exercise in wasting time and decreasing my credit score. Goldman Sachs sucks donkey D

Rip Off Interest Fee!!

March 2024, I made a payment of $580 for a balance of $579.68 on my GM credit card. I was expecting a credit balance of -$.32. Instead, I received a bill for $5.86 so called interest. This was despite my check posting prior to the due date. I felt this was a chessey move on behalf of Sachs.
However, I will pay this fee. In addition, my GM card won't be the card of choice in the immediate future.

Apple Card = AWFUL

Apple Card and Credit Karma advertised in January 2024 that they would give $150 to new cardholders that were approved and spent $1,000 within 90 days. I never got the $150 promotional offer. Still today, March 22, 2024, nothing. I applied, got approved, and spent well over the $1,000. I contacted Credit Karma and it took them over a month to respond but they said to contact Apple. I messaged Apple Card and their response wasn’t very clear at all. I filed a complaint with CFPB and they messaged some lousy response of course making an excuse to not give me the $150. I am glad I paid off the Apple Card and closed it. NEVER AGAIN! Apple Card is 100% the WORST CARD I have ever had, and Goldman Sachs is awful in general.

STAY AWAY!!

STAY AWAY! DONT GET TEMPTED BY CD INTEREST RATES...Your money will be stuck and it will take forever to get that money out. Today was my 4th call to customer service for transferring funds from matured CD to my bank account.

This Band Is Fraud, Scandalous, Criminal, Loan Sharks

This Company can't event follow, State, and Federal laws, nor their own reps and management assure me of curtain things. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Goldman Sachs Bank's customer service. Despite multiple attempts to resolve my issues, I found their team unhelpful and unresponsive. This lack of support and poor customer service has significantly impacted my opinion of the bank.

Fund-holding in the age (and speed) of Internet

These jerks withheld a check that was heading to my bank. They placed a hold on it for over seven days. It takes a nanosecond for a bank to take money out of your account, but it takes them over a week to deposit? No, in this age of the internet, this is unacceptable. All electronic transactions should not be delayed even a little bit. This is screwing me over because now I will have to pay overdraft fees due to another bank’s incompetence. This bank has billions, but they can’t release a measly (and hard-earned) $1500 dollars to a poorer person because of some administrative BS. Get f****d, Goldman Sachs.

Goldman Sachs Equity Asset Management…

Goldman Sachs Equity Asset Management group is a scam group, they will approach people mentioning open Institution account they will recommend couple of shares and shows 30% increase and then they will ask you deposit more money to buy shares, only deposit you can not withdraw money, the app is fake, those fkers will take money once they realise they can not extrack money they will kick you out from group and block you in what's app, you can not reach them at all.
I recommend stay away from them.

Hard to believe the time I waisted two days of BS

I only wish I could leave no stars for this lousy bank! I have never wasted so much time (hours) and accomplish nothing! From one senior advisor to another total of 5, all telling me the same BS! I will steer clear of this bank, first time & will be my last!!! BEWARE!

Foxnews keeps billing my CC, despite my reaching out to cancel service many many times. Apple/GS was reversing the charges, but this month they didn’t. Wut da F.

I love my GS Apple Mastercard! Please work next time in Japan!

I love my GS Apple Mastercard. I travel frequently and the physical card (since it is metal presumably) does NOT work in Japan. (Using it with ApplePay on the iPhone was no problem at all.) I used the card in South Korea after Japan without any issues so I know there is no problem with the card.

I called GS and they were attentive and admitted that there are some issues with the card overseas and working to resolve the problem. Is this because the card is metal rather than plastic? If you have the answer, would love to hear at laprodguy at gmail.com

Easy to get Executive Director(ED) at sell Markets, S&T role in London - if you know how to play the diversity card and corporate game.

Some people are saying that getting into Front Office, Sell - side ,FO @London is as much difficult as NY, that’s not entirely true. As I was recruited directly by HR from its main competitor typically for higher grades.

However, I can call myself a lucky person as managed to land a ED role pretty easily within front office S&T department although:
- I'm absolutely 100% NONE TARGET (Uni, MBAs, background etc),
- I have never finished my 2nd major
- nor ACCA, failed at 1st exam
- same goes to FCA with 20% passing rate vs MBA all get trough 100% if you pay them...

Instead I used simple MBA as cheat trick which banks like GS, Morgan etc to many surprise still buying it…so, so easily. Do not differentiate between real MBA (those cost small fortune) and MBA-ish like that one I have committed/bought - you name it.It fit the purpose allowing HR to tick of box for people management and promotion...so naïve...
- My background by any means wasn’t obvious choice for FO as I was coming from generic operations Firmops experience, never been involved in actually sells pitching, nor direct sell to clients interaction and not like most transfer I've heard about I wasn’t coming neither Risk or Research nor Markets exp
- I haven't got any target Ivy(US) /Russel Group(UK) business diploma – nothing further from this in fact, as I have graduated mediocre accounting major in one of Easter European Unis, not even the most competitive major to start with, which believing urban
- I’m not qualified – neither FCA, FRM, ACCA, in fact Analyst I managed are more technical superb than me as far my +15 YOE operational support goes.

- CHEAT TRICK -- I have bought/completed one of the cheapest (due to budget limitation and language barrier) non-target (as some called Micky Mouse MBA) London’s MBA – costed about +£16k, which was later luckily merged with City Uni giving label boost a bit. Main requirement was pass basic IELTS test not like in more professional MBA programmes (GMAT)When most of my colleagues @ Goldman in comparison have graduated LSE etc. (costed £110k-140£k eMBA) due to problems with communication I was also forced to use extensive help copywriters to achieve my final result.

One of advantages MBA over restrict self study qualification (where you can't cheat, use 3rd parties to help you get a score etc) is that relaxation of any rules, as many people and alumni was doing the same, due to work commitments etc. 99% MBAs is simply buying degree business, won't make you better banker, professional, questionable leader without technical knowledge CFA provides in contrast, as challenge those bosses is way too easy and they are way too weak
- I was lucky as HR hasn’t screened the reasons why I was disciplinary terminated @Merrill my previous not last bulge bank back in 2015, focusing on my last only bank instead and my latest recommendation instead. Lucky this hasn’t impacted my on boarding and screening!
- My communication skills although average as I have never studied English language as my first foreign language, nor eastern accent luckily hasn’t impacted my chances. I know it is huge obstacle in other FS sectors.
- Finally if I were a men probably not meeting diversity targets (GS it is no surprise aims to increase % women in FO giving us a bit blind eye, I wouldn’t stand a chance among male colleagues)
Overall I’m so grateful and happy that I can lead own team and set own targets as well recruit people suitable for business and my management own personal goals. Fantastic salary bump over Morgan.

Well one-way official policy, the reality is the other way round. That’s depends on people. I’m keep telling friends that in this business and such completive environment, there is no space for too old, too experienced candidates as they tend to create leaderships challenges and raising questions about operational sense and ways of doing things. When speed and accuracy are the most important in this role alongside soft skills managed highly skilled professionals. I personally tend to recruit only young candidates, who are willing to make extra effort, work long hours and do not challenge supervisors causing unnecessary fractions. Everyone is friendly but most defend their own opposition and pivot on visibility projects, and achievements all the time delegating less interesting work below.

To summarize I'm lucky as HR could easily promote (no brainer) somebody internally, domestic grown rather reaching out for mediocre person from outside, only as I have been working on this specific process. Can imagine how fed up must be GS employee.

GS know nothing about lithium shares and companies.

It is well known GS were partly responsible for the 2008 crash and they are good at hiding this. This week GS have issued a warning about the price of lithium stocks quoting utter nonsense. The worlds top critics on minerals Rodney Hopper and. Benchmark Minerals completely disagree with GS. This is also my view to as they are shareholders in umpteen miners including Pilbara, it is easy to drive the price down because they have the ear of the media and then invest in such companies to make money. Happens over and over again.

ROBBING ME!!! ZERO STARS!!

I have an Apple Card with Goldman Sachs. I have an installment loan for an Apple Watch that is charged to my card every month. They have withdrawn $89 dollars from my account, but not as a charge, just removing it from my balance and they have not applied it to my installment loan. Therefore stealing $89 from my account. Now they have changed the amount that I have paid. So instead of my loan page showing that I paid $234 dollars towards my loan, which it has shown for months, from 2/22-5-22. It now, as of June 1, 2022 says I’ve only paid $179. Bringing the total amount of money they have stolen from me to $120. They also extended the terms of my loan by three months for no reason. My final payment was scheduled for 5/23 and now the system has it scheduled for 8/23. So if I do not hear from anyone, Goldman Sachs will steal a total of $180 from me over the course of my loan. I have called day after day for months on end beginning on March 1, 2022. I have worked with at least 10 different supervisors, 15 different reps and NO ONE HELPS ME!!!!! I have filed disputes, complaints and NOTHING!!!! Every person who I speak with I have to start from square one… there is no consistency of help and I have wasted over 20 hours on the phone with no result. I need someone to contact me who is above the position of supervisor and can resolve this issue ASAP!! It has been almost 4 months of me calling almost daily with NO HELP!!! Every month Goldman Sachs steals more money from me and it is unacceptable!!

For 23 days, money has not been received from the wise balance to wise, no one has ever contacted me except the sender. Scam?

My money that was transferred to me through the wise to wise system, according to the technical support of this service, was frozen by your company. The payment was sent on April 12, 2022. It's been 23 days. Neither Wise support nor Goldman Sachs support contacted me. On the sender side, the payment is displayed as successful. Goldman Sachs for some unknown reason, without any contact with me or the sender of the money, scammed the money. Where is my money? I used Wise for almost a year and had no problems, now because of you I doubted the reliability of this service and even more so of you. Return the money!!!! To my balance or to the sender's balance!!. For 23 days, no money, no communication from support. Terrible strange company of yours. Transaction number in the Wise system
