I got transfer to this acct a year ago. Customer service is horrible. Lie tell me they will email me verification by rep and sup never received. I sked to verifie email, they never asked to verify. I am not paying any balance. I will never use this acct again. Verification procedure 2 times just makes customers madder.
The customer is always wrong
When making a payment through the app (Well in advance of the due date), the app processed the payment late, causing me an interest charge. When I called I was told that this was not their responsibility. I tried very hard to talk to someone that could actually help me but I was not able to do that. It appears that the structure of the company is such that the customer service representatives are prevented from helping the customer. I was told over and over that the failure of their app was my fault not theirs. I had the same problem the next month but still they would not believe me. I always make my payments on time and have never paid interest charges. Obviously this company is only out for their profits and uses any opportunity to take money from the customer. Very frustrating to deal with this company.

This bank is a literal SCAM
TLDR: My experience with Marcus savings has truly been the epitome of shady, incompetent online banking. I'm not someone to write bad reviews, but this has been such a frustrating and ridiculous situation, and I want to warn everyone, please, DO NOT trust this bank. It's one thing if an account is closed and customer service isn't able to provide an explanation behind this, but shouldn't getting the funds back be made an absolute priority? I'm not sure why this bank has deliberately made this become such a complicated and stressful process, where even after 4 YEARS they still have refused to give my money back.
I had an account opened with Marcus back in 2020, which suddenly got closed a few months later. When I tried calling customer service, they refused to give me any explanation behind the account's closure. After several attempts to call them regarding getting the money back into my original bank account, I still never received my funds. In July, I had a family emergency that required me to travel for a few weeks - prior to leaving, I desperately tried to call back to see if my money could be sent back to me before I left. They said that a check would be mailed to me within 14 business days and to my surprise, there was no check in the mail once I got back. Again, I tried to call them regarding this, and they stated that their so-called 'review team' would be reopening my account within 30 business days instead. I called again today (which is when I should have received an update regarding the reopening of my account) and yet again, still there is no update regarding if or when I'll be able to get my money back. Endless attempts to speak with both customer service and specialists have been failures, as they are entirely clueless about any updates from the 'review team', and now I haven't been given any timeframe as to when I'll be receiving an update at all. It's rather repulsing to see that a bank with such a good reputation and reviews, being "rated #1 in customer service" can be this negligent and incapable of addressing basic matters.

I have credit card with this company, a merchant change my account in year 2022 I file complaint and the review was on my favor I ask them to close my account they told me no they can’t change me again but in 2023 I was charge the same amount again but their year my bank told me it’s my fault and they award the merchant the case and I have to pay for the amount of $198.00 I contact BBB and the bank lie that the case was award in my favor which’s lie
The level of competence at Goldman Sachs’s Customer Service
The level of competence, accuracy and diligence of Goldman Sachs employees are severely lacking. Unfortunately, it appears they have a script to read and are incapable of utilizing “common sense” to solve simple inquiries. I’ve dealt with many institutions but there is one that stands out superior in my dealings. I never leave home without it. Some online transactions require certain charge cards and Apple Pay is my only available option for that transaction. Against my better judgement, I moved forward with the transaction. Big mistake on my part. To get a dispute solved with Goldman Sachs is a nightmare. My suggestion to anybody is be careful.
Do not Trust Goldman Sacs
My apple credit card is through Goldman Sachs. For 20 plus years I have had no issues in making payment on any credit. When the APR% increase it made it impossible to keep my payments.. I am not a freeloader if I owe money I pay it whether in 1 day or 50 yrs... I made an arangement with Goldman Sach on a payment program with no interst in exchange my account was closed in a sense..My payment were automatic..After around a year my payments did not go through I notice this after review my bank account that no payment was processed at its usuall date.. I waited around a week to see if was just some odd delay..It wasn't I tried to get a hold of anyone who could assist but since I was on the payment plan I could not get connected inspite of numerous tries..There was nothing I could do but wait. Finally before my next scheduled payment. Goldman Sachs contacted me.. My understanding was that autopayments were good for only 1yr.. Goldman Sachs correct this and I made my payment. I thought I was good to go BUT I kept getting calls because of a late payment. I kept expaining Goldman Sacs kept review my account and lying about making the corrections..Then is started showing up in my credit report..I will pay what I owe but WILL NOT PAY MORE THEN WHAT WAS ARRANGED. I stopped my autopay As alway I can never get a hold of anyone and had to wait until they called. At that point I wanted to be certain there would be no confusion and spoke with a supervisor. Goldman Sacs wanted me to pay for what was now 3 months of payments.. I could not so we negociated for me to increase my payments so that the account would be paid in full by the end of the orignal 60 month agreement...I was promise that they would update my credit report so after.. However again they lied and kept reporting to the credit bureau that I was late..I waited 1 1/2 months for this to be corrected it was not.. There is no point in me making payments if its only going to make my credit score worse because of it..I would be a fool to trust Goldman Sachs ever.... As said famously by Elon Musk they can go blank themselves..
No financial protection
One of the assurances when paying with a credit card is that you are protected. Welp, this is surely not the case with Goldman Sacs. I disputed a charge that clearly shouldn’t have been placed on my card; provided excellent proof. Even though this was so, the company didn’t work to get my money back.
Disappointed
I am extremely disappointed with Goldman Sachs. Recently, I discovered unauthorized transactions on my credit card and immediately reported them. However, despite providing all necessary documentation and proof, the company has refused to credit the fraudulent activity.
The customer service has been unhelpful and unresponsive. Instead of protecting their customers, they have shown a complete disregard for my concerns and financial security. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and stressful.
I expected better protection and support from a reputable credit card company. I strongly advise others to think twice before choosing Goldman Sachs if they value their financial security and peace of mind.

They keep charging my credit card every month and won’t stop. I disputed the charges, but now Goldman Sachs isn’t reversing the fraudulent charges. This my attempt to contact them as all other avenues have failed.

You’re out of luck if you ever file a dispute you have to have a lawyer with u eveytime u scan the card because they make it impossible to get your money back from thieves. UPDATE: back in July I finally got a full refund from Apple/Goldman Sachs because I called again and escalated the issue after I left this review and the same review on Trust Pilot AND I complained with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau - Goldman Sachs saw this and finally responded. I finally talked to a person at Goldman Sachs - despite Apple customer service telling me I couldn't. They asked me to submit my information AGAIN for the third time. A few days later they gave my requested refund. I actually believe they didn't bother to look at the fraud that was clearly in my case the first couple times! Proves that leaving reviews and complaining to the CFPB will get action!

I've been an Apple Card hold for several years. There are some perks they offer such as 3% cash back on purchases. HOWEVER, as soon as you file a dispute, you are out of luck!
I have a dispute for $1,970 that I paid for a fraudulent art program with Miriam Schulman Art. I've opened the dispute twice (Schulman Art refuses to give me a refund and won't discuss with me) in the past three months because the first time, despite ample evidence that I should get a full refund, my dispute was denied. There was no way to contact Goldman Sachs and Apple's dispute department is not helpful at all, even at the supervisor level. The second dispute was open and I had until July 2nd to provide additional evidence. However I just got an email today June 28th telling me my dispute has been resolved because of "no evidence." WTH!
What kind of business do they think they are running? Surely not one of customer service! There is no way to contact Goldman Sachs investigation directly says Apple! Just awful customer service. Goldman Sachs has thousand of complaints to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau about their "investigative" department with the Apple Card. Very similar to my complaint!

This is literally THE WORST card I’ve ever used exacerbated by the fact that the Apple Card Support Team is ran by complete morons.
I’ve been calling for two weeks for someone to cancel a $225 dispute that’s been on my card for damn near two months. And what do these morons do? Cancel the wrong dispute. I swear to God.
So I am still waiting on the $225 dispute to be cancelled while the rightful dispute and the funds WERE GIVEN BACK TO THE MERCHANT.
DO NOT get an Apple Card. Clearly, these two companies are ill equipped to do anything together. Go to Google and search “Bloomberg Apple Card Goldman Sachs” for proof. The first article will tell you everything you need to know.

Truly Awful
Goldman Sachs who runs AppleCard is a horrific company to deal with. I am not going to document the numerous problems here, however, they even make paying your bill impossible. Twice it has taken 7-8 WEEKS for them to deposit payments sent by check. Which means your payment is late and you are charged interest fees. It's absurd if not illegal.
Due to having alheimer I forgot the maturity date. Goldman Sachs kept every penny of my retirement funds. Ensure you remove your funds before they do.
We save to prepare for retirement and other meaningful event in our lives.It feels as though I or we are being set up to be taken advantage of. The trap was set praying and hoping the prey would get snared. Particulary taking advantage of the senior citizens and

We forgot to use the link to apply for Apple Card. Goldman Sachs provides goodwill credit of $75.00 as courtesy to me not my wife. Use the link or not we are new customers. Why the company made an exception for me and my wife did not get an exception for the promotion regarding Friends can earn $75 Daily Cash. I would not recommend Apple Card for others. Apple Card Specialist provides bad customer service and experience to me and my wife.
Goldman Sachs Horrible Business Practices
I WOULD GIVE this company a -1 star if I could! I’ve had an account with them for over four years, NEVER had a late payment!
Their system glitched and as a result, I incurred interest fees! They are choosing not to do a courtesy interest waiver for the total amount incurred!!
The only reason I won’t cancel this card…is so that my credit score won’t be affected! Going forward, I would not recommend them…and will make it a LAST RESORT before I make any future purchases on my account!! Horrible business practices…

Here's a concern I bet that will never get figured out. So I received an ad to apply for The Apple Card and I did and I was approved instantly and that's where the feel-good stops. I was told because I don't own an IPhone I cannot get the wallet that has the card in it. Since there is no number on the card,I'm screwed.I call Apple and the rep was very nice but could not help.Let me backup for a sec and explain the reason I'm trying to get this worked out is Goldman Sachs who backs the Apple Card has emailed if I don't use the Apple Card account they will remove it, which means credit reporting agencies ding my credit.So Apple transfers me to Goldman Sachs and once again the agent was very nice but couldnt help.Goldman Sachs and apple have a problem that noone seems to be able to fix.Poor business boys and girls!

Do not use this bank, they will not help you with disputes. I bought concert tickets from a WI venue using Eventbrite. The concert was first canceled and then the venue burned down. Eventbrite claimed it reimbursed me (a year later) but my reimbursement never arrived. Been trying for months with this crappy bank to help me with my dispute but they side with the merchant. I asked for a proof of reimbursement. Shouldn’t that show up on my account SOMEWHERE? Should be pretty easy to proof, but these people don’t care. It’s all about money, typical. Will pay of my apple stuff and close this crappy account

I recently opened an Apple Card account in order to take advantage of a 0% apr financing on a new computer. The bank gave me a line of credit just shy of the computer that meets my needs after sales tax. When I requested a credit limit increase, their representative did not inform me they would be performing a hard pull which decreased my credit score, then declined bc the account was too new. This is for someone with a 760 credit score utilizing only 1.5% of their total available credit and a relatively high income. Basically this card is worthless to me and was an exercise in wasting time and decreasing my credit score. Goldman Sachs sucks donkey D
