Hotel with potential 

3.5 stars
Myself and my husband stayed 10days at this resort for our honeymoon. It was a last minute change from what we expected due to some issues with loveholidays.

Firstly, I would like to say that most of the staff are amazing. The front desk staff are helpful and willing to support you with issues and addressed them as soon as they were able.

I want to give a big shout out the bar workers - our favourite was Sakis helpful, lovely and warm. Went over and beyond during our stay. Not only to us but to everyone, always happy to help. He was 10 out of 10.

Our experience was a mixed bag, due to the following reasons:
- the pool was lovely however it isn’t an infinity pool as described in the advert. In addition, there is no jacuzzi. (You may need to review the images and advertisements as I feel it doesn’t highlight the hotel correctly)
- The cleaning is not up to stretch, rooms were not cleaned daily. In my opinion, beds need to be changed regularly and the bathroom space needs a quick touch up. However, regular fresh towels were provided.
- The beds are comfortable and the AC worked a treat.
- There were issues with the water but staff worked hard to rectify this and provided other arrangements (unfortunate but manageable)
- The food is subpar - some great new dish’s, they did well with the Greek food however meals such as the spag bowl were in my opinion low quality. overall, during our stay it was a bit of the same each day. Also it wasn’t always hot and I had to microwave food. The salad bar needs more dressings and the breakfast and snack bar needs more variety. Best day was Greek day.
- The roads are a bit unsafe when venturing out. But the beach is close to the hotel - steep hill (which is expected on a mountain)
- Not really kitted to families, we had some lovely entertainment during the evening but nothing set during the days teens and children might find this more difficult. In addition, they had the same entertainment each week, so if your there more than 7 days it might become a bit boring.
- The overall hotel is pretty and modern however there are some issues with some of the amenities including doors with hinges broken or not closing and the cleaning of the rooms ( stains on curtains - which don’t bother us much, but worth noting)

What made it was the staff and the people we met. Everyone was friendly and warm and it made our honeymoon special. I think this hotel is beautiful and has lots of potential if small changes were made.

Avoid at any cost

Check-in & Communication: We were forced to wait 8 hours (6 hours past the scheduled time), finally receiving keys at 10 PM. Throughout this delay, staff provided dishonest updates regarding the room's readiness.

Room Condition & Safety: The room was sub-standard and hazardous. It lacked lighting, hot water, functioning AC and electric wires in bathroom were dangling over the toilet area. Centipede crawled out from the bathroom. In a room for 4 person, supplied only 3 duvets and even after requesting for additional one, it wasn't supplied.

Staff Conduct: Reception staff were unprofessional, frequently shouting and yelling at us when we raised our concerns. It was terrifying with tired kids and worried that we end up sleeping on the reception floor. After 6 hrs of waiting and started questioning staff for the delays, they asked for our qualification and said "comfortable to talk in local language and spoke in Greek while we were communicating in English.

Hygiene & Maintenance: The room was never cleaned during our stay despite multiple requests. Common area facilities, such as coffee machines, were broken and leaking. Ventilation of bathroom wasn't good which left the room damp and wet throughout the day.

Catering: The vegetarian options were extremely limited and repetitive, with the same few items served for every meal. Lack of cutleries mainly spoons and the funny part was left with fork to eat icecream :D

Only good thing abt the resort was some good staffs at the mocktail/cocktail bar and some fun local/ traditional entertainment in the late evenings.

Horrific place

Horrific place! DO NOT BOOK HERE! From the start, it was horrific. We turned up, and they didn't even help us with our bags. They watched a struggle at the stairs, seeing as we had a copious amount of bags and a little one to have to take up as soon as we arrived in the crib that they gave for my niece had black mould, and we also had a massive power cut on the first day. On the second day, we asked for housekeeping, and it pretty much looked like they didn't even try. The beds looked even worse than we had done them, as we hadn't bothered to mop the floor clean or anything. It was absolutely horrendous. The pool had cats drinking out of it. The drinks that they offer for the all-inclusive are undrinkable, and the food was the most repulsive thing I've ever eaten. The place is definitely a catfish; do not be conned by the pictures. We ended up spending a load more money trying to get out of the place and ending up spending the time on a beach club, which, luckily, allowed us to actually save the holiday; otherwise, it would've been completely ruined. Towels were dirty and falling apart. The noise was ridiculous, and we were over a car park, and there were people cleaning their cars and slamming doors till about 1 o'clock in the morning. To top it off, we also had the kids next door playing music and screaming for hours, even after asking them to turn it down. They didn’t, and we hardly got any sleep for the whole time we were there. Horrendous place; do not go. Not worth your money. Go somewhere else; they should be ashamed for advertising it the way that they have. It is horrendous.

This is really not a 4 star hotel

This is really not a 4 star hotel, 3 at very best. Lovely staff, nice views but lots of issues. The Beer was terrible and tasted like it had been watered down, Tonic water that simply tasted bad, below average food, even the water tasted salty from the bar. It seemed as every ingredient or drink they used was of poor quality. Some days it was so bad that we simply went elsewhere and paid for a meal. WIFI that constantly did not work. The main issue is safety however, Loose hand rails on various stairs, chipped glass panel around the kiddies pool that could easily cut someone. Cracked safety panels around the Hotel that stop you falling 15+ feet. One of the steps that gets you in and out of the pool was missing its top step. I cut my chest and my hand on the edges of the main pool. Our room slept 4 and we had 3 people, Black mould in the shower, the sofa bed was missing various support slats so it was so uncomfortable that i could'nt sleep on it. To get to the Hotel you have to walk up a slope that's so steep you almost have to be a mountaineer to walk up it and no steps to make things a little easier/safer. Dragging 4 suitcases up that slope was not easy and there was no one to help you. The Hotel also allows glass around the pool, on two occasions the waiters dropped half a dozen glasses that of course smashed. They tried to clean the broken glass up but i had to complain twice as there was clearly still broken glass around the pool where children were playing. My Mother slipped over on some water inside the hotel, cracked her head open and yet there were no staff with any medical knowledge, in a hotel that sleeps 2-300 people is crazy. A dozen stitches later, £1400 in medical bills and a Hematoma near her skull, she was lucky it did'nt kill her. The day my Mother had her accident, 2 other people slipped over in the same place, 1 had to go to Hospital like my Mother and yet they still did not think about putting a Mat down to soak up the water that was constantly being brought into the Hotel from the pool area. They really need to think out of the box and improve safety before someone else gets seriously injured or worse

The hotel room had a bad smell from the…

The hotel room had a bad smell from the drain.
The food was definitely not for a luxury resort, food tastes and quality-1star.

The lift was hardly working.

No natural Juices, only colorants. The cocktails and beer was not tasty, and especially the beer was more likely 0% alcohol.
The kitchen cutlery and glasses was very very dirty.

We did not have electricity or water on one of the days.

The wi-fi speed poor.

The good side:
Nice view from the room.
Excellent housekeeping service and cleaning of the room.
Very polite staff.

No value for money.

Rather a 2 or max a 3 star hotel.

Peel off the layers of photogenic hotel

Photogenic hotel with a number of good staff (Mario, Maria and front desk manager) and fabulous views.
Yet failed in every way as facilities listed on website were non-existent including a Pool Bar that had yet to be completed despite the hotel opened in May 2018.
Food was diabolical, not enough to feed the number of guests so just as well that it was constantly rejected!
Cheapest ingredients used, and had to personally complain to hotel manager when fish fingers and mashed potato was served for lunch.
Food and drinks quality were far from luxurious, and would not warrant suitable for a 1-star establishment.
Room we were given, two bunk beds and a double bed, was not the correct one the hotel reception admitted but they did nothing to change it.
We were disappointed by the food more than anything else, which had my 8yo daughter and mother in tears at breakfast as so bad - it was terrible and I couldn't find one thing to eat. Wasn't surprised to learn that other guests skipped breakfast and lunch.
Under staffed hotel that is brilliant at cost-cutting and does not offer what it advertises on their website.
Have demanded a refund as the very worst hotel ever visited. Moved to a proper all inclusive afterwards that was excellent.
Read the reviews about this hotel, best to ignore those dubious ones with only 1 or 2 contributions, before you decide whether to book it or not.
Hotel is outstandingly photogenic. Very disappointed that we booked it, frustrating that we wasted almost 40 hours there.
