We arrived on May 5 for 3 nights, unacceptable

We arrived on May 5, 2026, and upon arrival, we initially believed the property was closed. The check-in area was covered in plastic with only a small opening available for communication. There was extensive construction throughout the property, with noticeable dust and debris in common areas. Unfortunately, none of this appeared to be disclosed during the booking process.

We paid full price expecting a quality hotel experience; however, the conditions reflected more of a budget-level stay. In my opinion, the level of cleanliness and presentation was unacceptable, especially for guests with asthma or other medical concerns. I personally experienced increased allergy and asthma symptoms during our stay and relied on my allergy medication far more than usual.

At check-in, we were informed that the dining area and construction debris would be addressed “by tomorrow morning.” However, by Thursday, the situation had not improved. Because of the condition of the breakfast area, we had to go elsewhere for breakfast, coffee, and juice each morning, leaving us to arrange these accommodations on our own.

Unfortunately, securing another hotel such as SpringHill Suites or Holiday Inn on short notice would have been significantly more expensive, so we remained at the property primarily because the room itself was reasonably clean. Still, this was not the quality of stay we expected or would normally choose.

I also felt embarrassed when my Pastor kindly offered to pay for us to relocate to another hotel. I truly believe that if the extent of the construction and conditions had been properly disclosed online, many guests — including us — may have chosen differently. In my personal opinion, the lack of transparency felt deceptive.

I would also like to note that the staff members were very kind and professional throughout our stay. We especially appreciated Caleb and the other front desk employees, who were courteous and pleasant during every interaction. It was evident, however, that even the staff seemed uncomfortable and embarrassed by the property’s condition.

Regrettably, this will be our last stay at any Choice property.
Thank you again to Caleb and the front desk staff for their kindness and professionalism despite the circumstances.

It is quiet in Dodge City

It is quiet in Dodge City. Comfort suites here are very clean, classy decor, everything smells nice, great service and breakfast.

we stayed in comfort inn plano, TX. I would rate this as the worst hotel I have ever stayed. I have traveled extensively for work and pleasure and never gotten gone back to the hotel and had my bags packed and told I did not have a room. We had reservation until the next day and the manager will not refund money. The paint was chipped, wall paper coming off, could not get towels. I had to bring towels from home. I requested daily room service, but that did not happen. I did not get all my clothes back, and I found my tootbrush with dirty clothes and electronics with wet towels. I would rate this hotel as -10 on a scale of 1-10.

Although No one is the owner of this…

Although No one is the owner of this comfort inn from choice hotel in this Trust pilot account, I just made this to make everyone aware.
I made booking online through booking.com and stayed in the comfort inn hotel Marina (14-19 April 2025) book ref 4821220210, while check out, I asked about the payment and Paid in the facility and they informed me that the booking fee will disappear after sometimes. Surprisingly, the creditcard statement Charged me twice, before check in and after checked out. Several email and phone call reveal no one responsible Neither Booking, Comfort inn Nor Choice, however creditcard company confirm that the fund is requested and charged from Comfort inn for Both occasion. And I requested investigation through creditcard company for unresolved situations.

Comfort Inn in Sherman, TX

This facility in Sherman, TX, is disgusting! The phone cord for the room phone was cut so no phone service! 3 out of 4 cardkeys would not work and then they charged me $30.36 more on my credit card bill than was on my receipt the day I checked out. BTW....my bank credit card is also dragging their feet in rectifying the situation. These people are HORRIBLE!!!

Disrespectful manager kicked me out of parking lot after I had explained that I had whiplash and he even called police on me
...where was I to go with 2 flat rear tires....

Stayed here once and first room 333 was a mess semen stains everywhere and possibly blood splatter on walls and a big old deuce in toilet.

Deplorable to say the least....my advice? Go camping -less bugs....and possible diseases

Even filled out online to get a job, no response....please fire the manager @ Gap comfort inn and suites...asking as a potential friend. If not I'm seeking to shut this disgustingly God awful place down.

Keep In mind I was homeless living in my car at the time, almost died in a hit and run accident and the only one who even was remotely human was *Toni*. -Great person , she is deserves a better job 💯

P.s. I witnessed multiple possible drugs deals go down on the parking lot...oh yeah no dinner per say, but definitely a show....

Dirty room and smelly hotel

Check out date 02/11/2025 member number 82077550661 Dirty Comfort inn ,the sheets have been slept in before there was someone else's hair in the bed and very creased,the carpet is dirty and the room and hall smell musty,we did not stay and they refused to refund us ,such poor service.Go to the La Quinta inn it's lovely. I understand in normal circumstances with this booking is non refundable but in this case I refer to my review,you can not expect us to sleep in a bed that other people have slept in and pay for the privilege of staying in a dirty smelly room. We booked with Comfort Inn because we have always had a good experience.
Thank you for your quick reply, but I must stress that we where NOT A NO SHOW not only do the staff at this Comfort inn not do their jobs but lie ,how can we be no show when we saw the room told the receptionist it was dirty and the bed unchanged from the last occupant with thier hair in the bed,something is serious wrong with this hotel.
Why should we be expected to pay for this appalling situation and now to be called a liar.

Spacious room for the price

Spacious room for the price, $60+ dollars a night.
Parking was free, a little hard to find but with GPS, not really. This was the Inn on San Pedro Ave. In North San Antonio. Missed breakfast, but did spend time at the pool, very small pool. Television hard to navigate, wifi was fine.

The place is filthy and the rail to get to the 2nd floor is sticky haven't been cleaned in weeks. Carpet in the room doesn't look like it's seen a vacuum cleaner in weeks, the bathroom is a disgrace, room furniture is knocked about, the bedside lamp doesn't work. If I could give it minus stars this deserves 20 I've been touring the US now for 3 weeks and stayed at comfort inns all over. This is the worst hotel I've been in this holiday. The best thing that could be done here is to raise it to the ground and start again DON'T COME HERE !

Avoid Comfort Inn and Expedia!!!

Along with many others we were recently trapped at MSP airport after multiple cancelations from Delta. Although we slept at the airport for four nights before finding a room at Comfort Inn, Americas Mall, Airport.

We arrived early at the hotel and needed to wait until 3:00 for check in. When we attempted to check in they informed us that our room had been given away because of the high demand. We then asked for a refund we were informed that we would need to contact Expedia. Due to lack of sleep we accepted this.

Upon returning home (after four more nights) we contacted Expedia and was informed that the hotel room was non-refundable. We explained that we were not provided with a room. Expedia attempted to contact Comfort Inn but informed us that they were unable to receive a reply from the hotel. So we just lost 260. due to a poor decision in making a reservation at Comfort Inn (they do not honor reservations) and trusting Expedia who apparently will not take responsibility for refunding consumers.

Unethical practice and horrible CS

This hotel chain is pathetic. I didn't have much money for walk-in since I am disabled vet so I pre-paid. I couldn't make it to Nashville due to family issues. Contacted the hotel and they blatantly refused to refund the pre-paid even though the amount is less than $100.

Night front desk guy no customer service

We get away for the night and Comfort Inn on Bell Road it is close, and we have never had any issues. We always leave the room clean and no damage about 30 mins ago we check and wait for this guy to check the room he comes down and tell me my washable make up damaged the towels I said I can wash it out, so he can see. He was loud and rude, telling me he checked me out, and of course my husband gets upset. Because the tone in his voice was rude, says we will never be allowed to stay there again. He wanted us to pay for five towels, we walked out and said we would be back, he continued to be rude. How could I be 100% checked out if he still had my deposit, never gave me an invoice. I hope that manger can handle this because they should find someone else for the front desk. What happened to customer service, and we are always treated we'll be there until today

Horrible Comfort Inn MSP Experience

I arrived at 11:55 PM from Dallas. I was given room 447 which appeared to be under renovation. The room number was identified with a paper printout. There was no door latch, and the peephole was blocked from the inside. The worst was that they did not provide hair shampoo and conditioner. There was no soap in the bathroom either. It was late and I took a shower with my facial scrub I had brought with me. Early in the morning, they started working on the other rooms that were being renovated. It also appeared that they did not do a very good job in cleaning as the exhaust vent was full of dust. There were missing floorboards, a nonfunctional lamp on the table that had no electrical outlet nearby, a misaligned closet door, mismatched doorknobs, etc., etc. This was a very bad experience. Why would they assign me a room that was under renovation? Why did they not provide bathroom essentials like bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner? They need to close off this wing till the renovation is completed.
