Fox &Grant , sold my barn it was a difficult sale ,they stuck with it,and we prevailed .
They always had good communication and easy to deal with.

We were attempting to purchase a lovely fisherie in Wiltshire, we travelled from London to come to the viewing 2 hour drive only to get to the lake and no agent (William) double booked apparently however told the owners to tell us who were put out as they knew nothing about the viewing which made the viewing a little uncomfortable, the second viewing we met the owners again.

William initially told us there was an amount where we would not pay stamp duty as it was fishing tackle/equipment from the shop which is included in the sale, restaurant equipment was being left/fish stock in lakes, totally untrue information as the owners have stated the only thing being left is the fish 100k worth and everything else will be under negotiation, very fixed on a 25k lock, when we excepted 20k we received a WhatsApp message saying 25k not 20k and nothing else not answering anything else in the E Mail, he even went as far to say he would like communication through WhatsApp (totally unprofessional and make me wonder why?)

For a company dealing with such accounts you would think they would really try to help, make people feel valued and go out of their way to help and explain to potential purchasers, however William seems more fixated on his monthly income from not selling the fisherie and running around the world on his Ego trip journeys.
I have no doubt fox has some great employees but please believe me when I say you do not want William dealing with your property or business.

We had to notify the owners today that we will not be going ahead and we are so please the owners told us what the agent was meant too.

This was the response from William today , it just proves that my experience of his professionalism hasn’t been what I would expect from a prestigious estate agent.

Please note this is just my experience, do not let this put you off using fox grant as your experience may well be different

Lets be very clear I have been as helpful as possible to you and all other potential purchasers
1) So I am at a loss why you have chosen to falsely slander me to my clients 2)Over 25 exchanges of communications and 3 phone calls
3) I arranged viewings and answered multiple Q some 20- 25 exchanges
4)Any Q I could not answer I refereed to our Vendors
5) I made it crystal clear from out set that it was a £25,000 lock out ( £20,000 was never ever discussed )
6) I never ever mentioned the stock was £200,000 it was £100.000
7)And I Provided a Broker to help with your finance
8)All in all I don’t think I could have been more helpful

I have been in this business for 40+ years and bought and sold over a 1000 properties so you have picked the wrong agent and firm to try and slag off

If you want to be treated as a serious buyer rather than a dreamer, I suggest you start acting like one
