Nightmare!

Projected handover of properties at Acorn Grove, Ashurst, should be 16th March 2026.

We have been informed, by Vivid Homes, that Foreman Homes are waiting for legal paperwork to be signed off to enable them to book a time slot for drainage and roadworks to be carried out.
Now there is no time frame as to when the properties will be handed over. This has left us in a right predicament.
Why on earth was this not organised beforehand? We need to vacate the property we are, currently, renting as our landlord has served us notice which expired on the 11th January 2026. They are now proceeding with possession!
Thankfully we haven't paid our exchange deposit of 9k.

The delay relates to outstanding Section 278 highway works on the development. These works are subject to final legal approvals before a booking slot can be secured and, as a result, it is rarely possible to provide a definitive handover date.
As the housebuilder, we maintain an open and ongoing line of communication with Vivid throughout the development process, with the status of key works shared as the development progresses. We will continue to provide updates as soon as further information becomes available.

I have had problems with mould in the…

I have had problems with mould in the property and Paul came and treated it on the 5th and 9th of January. The place was spotless afterwards and he was happy to answer any questions I had. Really pleased with his customer service and work

Madaxford Gardens

We moved into our Foreman’s home the beginning of November 2025. Our experience has been excellent from the first viewing to the day we moved in. Having read and heard negative feedback on purchasing a new build we were a little apprehensive. However, our experience has been nothing but positive. Claire has been extremely helpful and on hand to assist and answer any queries we had, always making sure any concerns were answered. The quality of Foreman‘s homes are built to a high standard and snagging is a natural part of the process when you move in. Rick has been on hand and dealt with most of our finds swiftly. We do still have some outstanding but with Christmas and the New Year breaks now over, I feel confident that these will be finalised. Thank you to Foreman's and their great team for helping us enjoy our new chapter.

Great experience

We moved into our new home in September 2025 and our experience with Foreman Homes has been great from the very beginning.

Claire in particular has been wonderful, from the very start of viewing the different plots to the day we moved in. She has been supportive throughout each step and guiding us to ensure a smooth process. She really is a valuable member of the foreman team!

We would also like to mention Richard from the site team, he has been on hand with any snagging/new move in issues and arranging for contractors to visit, although this is still ongoing and have some outstanding works we are extremely confident and satisfied with the way this is dealt with by Richard.

I have recently moved into a vivid home…

I have recently moved into a vivid home built by foreman homes in Bursledon, Southampton. I couldn’t be happier with our home and the service. The houses are so well built with great quality spec materials and fittings, even carpet. Billy the site manager has been so helpful and kind and is very passionate about the homes he’s building for people. Everyone involved has gone above and beyond and it’s been so special and calm moving in here.

Impressed by their staff availability and politeness

All staff at Vivid customer care has always been kind, helpful and providing good tips to help sort out our new home sagging issues. Sometimes it took a while for them to plan a visit, but all our cases have been resolved (except for one involving an annoying problem with the back garden PVC door not locking up when temperatures arise).
The whole of their team in action was very polite and knowledgeable. The last of this nice bunch of guys, George, was absolutely stunning, so helpful and really did the extra mile to sort out our reported issues, doing some kind of magic to our staircase which was squeecking. We are overall very satisfied with the service provided.

We're pleased to hear that overall you have had a positive experience with VIVID's aftercare team also.

I have checked your file and can see that our glazing contractor has previously attended to the patio doors. uPVC doors swell in the heat due to thermal expansion, which is a normal physical response that can cause them to become stiff or difficult to open. You can cool down your uPVC doors by patting it down with a cold, damp cloth or alternatively spraying the outside with water. This should help the uPVC shrink back to size and work freely, during the summer months.

New Forman Home

We have been in our new house just under a year and we are very happy with the overall quality of the build . We have had two small snagging issues and on both occasions Forman homes have acted promptly and efficiently to fix things leaving no mess and with extremely polite and efficient staff ( George and Martin) Really a very good experience and we are very impressed

We moved in to our new home in February…

We moved in to our new home in February 2025 and from putting down the deposit to moving in has been great.Claire from Forman homes has been there for us every step of the way, always responding to our messages on the WhatsApp group she created and even after moving in the team at foreman’s has been oncall for any snags and advice with the property that’s been needed. The after care team have been great and very quick in responding to my queries. It’s great to buy a house with a great team like Forman homes, they made the process easy when it comes to buying and can’t thank them enough.

Great customer service from foreman homes

We moved into our home April 1st 2025 after a long wait, move in day was not the best day with a faulty key safe and we was so worried that we wouldn't be able to move in that day but Billy and daisy from foreman homes where amazing reassured myself my husband and son that we would be able to move in that day they managed to get us in our home we waited so long for so friendly and helpful. we came across a few more problems since living in our home and without having any stress or worry Daisy and Billy was there to help with there incredible team no job was too big or any hassle always greeted with a smile, and every person that came to fix or adjust anything in the house was so accommodating and friendly to myself and my son. And still too this day Billy is so attentive to his job and goes above and beyond and is an absolute credit to foreman homes as is Daisy and all the other lovely workers that have helped us along the way our whole experience would of been completely diffrent if it wasn't for them and we are very grateful and appreciate all the hard work, the kindness and the best customer service thank you so much from Hannah, Jason & Leighton

I cannot thank Foremans Homes enough.

I cannot thank this company enough for the help with the purchase of my new house. They assisted me with the sale of my previous property and considering it took me a year from the point of placing my deposit on the new house to moving in, through their sales team, Claire, they were extremely patient with me and kept me fully informed on a weekly basis of progress.
Once I had moved into my new house, they were most helpful, left me a full pack of detailed information about the house and were very quick and helpful in addressing any snags I raised which I must add were few and quite minor. Richard did a super job.
I can't thank them enough for making the house move so extremely easy and would without doubt recommend them to anyone.

Great service

We moved into our home around 2.5 years ago. Overall we've been happy with the standard and Foreman homes have been responsive to any issues raised in that time that would fall within their remit.

Recently we thought we had a leak so the plumbing company who installed the boiler and service it for us came over to take a look. The plumber cut a hole in the ceiling, said there weren't any pipes and advised that he would raise a ticket with foreman homes for them to investigate. He also assured me that it would be put back to normal for us.

Several weeks go by with no communication. I then called foreman homes twice and the plumping company once. I was told it would be looked into and someone would get back to me and nobody did.

Bare with me, because this does get better....

Last Friday I spoke with Sophie at Foreman Homes and she was fantastic. She agreed that it wasn't an issue I should be having to sort or chase, she had a member of the team in the area that day and said she would send him over. Luckily his initial job cancelled so he came straight over and Sophie called to advise me of this. He diagnosed the issue which needs a small tile correction from the roofing company but not a big deal. He then fixed the hole in the ceiling that day and you can't tell it was ever there.

Although it took a few attempts to sort it out, once I spoke to Sophie, it was fixed incredibly efficiently by Martin who was very knowledgeable and skilled. He also checked the loft etc to ensure there wasn't a condensation issue or any other concerns.

On the whole I find the company easy to contact and to deal with. They are always polite and helpful. They've resolved issues that we've had which have been minimal.

If I would give zero I could

I would give a zero if I could. Residents found out when there was an issue with a pump, that the 2 sewage pumps in the pumping station have not been fitted according to industry standards. Therefore cannot be maintained correctly by residents without extensive work due to risk of collapse. Foreman homes offered to cover some of the cost, but not all, despite it never having being installed correctly. Somebody at Foreman obviously signed off on the install. AVOID!!!!! Months and months this has been going on and they are still refusing to correct the issue and provide a standard of work customers have paid for.

The development in question was handed over to the managing agent in May 2023, this included responsibility for the pump station.
Repairs to the pump and a full service had been carried out prior to formal handover.

We are currently awaiting a response from the NHBC team that are handling the query but we are hopeful that we will find a resolution that supports everyone involved.

Due to the nature of the discussions, we are unable to share further details at this stage. However, please rest assured that every decision we make at Foreman Homes is guided by the best interests of our residents.

Great experience with Foreman Homes

Great experience with Foreman Homes, right from the first viewing to completion.

Jane supported me really well through the purchase process and Billy has been brilliant post completion.

The property was completed to a very high standard - I have had a handful of snags, all of which have been remedied really promptly.

The builders on site are all really considerate too - even placing some of my parcels out of sight when they have been left on the doorstep.

A really great experience and I love my new home!

Exceptional customer service

Purchased the final property in the Florins through an estate agent. Purchase went very smoothly from the Foreman Homes side.

The handover of the property was handled by Billy, the site manager, who provided an exceptionally friendly and professional service at every encounter.

The house was well prepared for handover and the few very minor snags identified in the first few weeks were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Overall, an excellent experience.

A special thanks to Billy who added such warmth to the handover process.

Sterling Park

We have recently moved into our home in Sterling Park and the whole transaction has been very smooth. Steph was great as the initial point of contact and sales progression support up until she left.

Once completed, Billy was fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble, any issues were dealt with very quickly. We were really impressed with his dedication to customer care and passion to get things right first time.
