Whilst there were delays with the build, Nicola was extremely communicative and friendly throughout the process. Once we were on site Nicola and Luke the Site Manager let us know that anything we needed we just needed to reach out which made the whole transition much smoother and less stressful.
I also have to give a special call out to Stan, one of the team on the site, who has helped me on multiple occasions - amongst other things he set us up with temporary wifi which meant I could work from home without interruption, helped me move heavy furniture and has always been a phonecall away.
It is people like this that really have made the difference.

Nicola from the start has been an incredible Estate Agent, moving heaven and earth to do everything to make our timetable and to make it work for us. With the experience to talk you through any step, and the taste to tell you a cheap idea would look terrible, Nicola has guided us through the whole process.
Then comes the aftercare. The part I was dreading because I'm never one to complain. Despite my issues seeming small and pointless, the Site Manager Luke has done the best job we can ask for. He's one text or call away, and will finish what he's doing to come help you. He's down to earth, reliable and friendly. No issue is too small, and no fix is too big. Complimentary doesn't go far enough to describe the help and thought he's put in.
Despite the old reviews, I can guarantee from my experience that the process was worth it and the Team deserve their pay!

Buying our first new build home with Kendrick Homes has been an incredibly positive experience. As we currently live overseas, we purchased the property as a buy-to-let, with the hope of making it our forever home one day. Naturally, managing the process from thousands of miles away and across different time zones felt daunting at first but the entire journey was made smooth and stress free.
A special thank you goes to Lucie Langford, who guided us through every step with clarity and patience. She was always available, responsive, and reassuring when delays occurred within our chain. Her support made a real difference and gave us confidence throughout.
We’d also like to thank Neil Bennet, who oversaw the handover of the property and has kindly offered continued support as our tenants settle in. This level of aftercare is outstanding and has been truly appreciated.
So far, we haven’t identified any snags, but based on our experience to date, we feel confident that any issues would be handled quickly and efficiently. Overall, Kendrick Homes has delivered excellent service, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We are now four months post‑completion, and like many others, we chose to wait before posting our review.
As is typical with new builds, we encountered a number of snags and issues. This isn’t our first new‑build purchase, but what truly set this experience apart was the way certain members of the Kendrick Homes site team supported us throughout the process.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have been assisted by the following team members, who deserve individual recognition from Kendrick’s senior management:
Stan – We genuinely don’t know what we would have done without Stan’s unwavering support from start to finish. His customer service is nothing short of outstanding, and his dedication to ensuring our satisfaction shines through in everything he does. Stan’s genuine care and kindness set him apart, and over the course of our journey, we’ve come to consider him a friend. Kendrick Homes are incredibly fortunate to have someone of his calibre representing them.
Meg – Meg took full ownership of every snag, often stepping in to handle tasks that would typically fall to others, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Her attention to detail and positive approach made a huge difference. She is an absolute gem, and genuinely deserves recognition for the standard she delivers. The new Kendrick site she has recently moved to is extremely lucky to have her.
Jak – Once Jak joined the team, we saw an immediate and noticeable improvement. Knowledgeable, transparent, and proactive, he resolved issues before they escalated. His communication was excellent, and he even replied to emails outside working hours on more than one occasion—including on late Sunday evenings—which we greatly appreciated.
These three team members transformed what could have been a stressful process into a smooth and positive experience, and we are truly grateful for their efforts.
In terms of build quality, we believe Kendrick delivers a superior finish compared to other developers, with impressive attention to detail throughout the home. The high‑quality appliances further enhance the premium feel.
Overall, despite the initial snags that naturally come with a new build, our experience with Kendrick Homes has been overwhelmingly positive thanks to the outstanding support of the above team. We are delighted with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kendrick Homes to others looking for a high‑quality property backed by exceptional customer service.

If you are considering buying a house built by Kendrick Homes I would recommend that you are very careful and selective about the reviews you take cognisance of. The Kendrick Homes Sales team do ask purchasers to do a trust pilot review as soon as they have moved in, however I would suggest that the more realistic reviews are those posted by people who have lived in their home for a period of time and have dealt with the reality of Kendrick Homes customer service.
When I needed to consult the Home User Guide provided by Kendrick Homes with our property it became apparent that there was information missing and a significant proportion of the information included was wrong so unless you wanted to understand how to operate your kitchen appliances in 27 different languages the guide was of little use.
I raised my concerns over the content and quality of the document with Kendrick Homes and received a response from the Company Secretary, ‘The user instruction manuals/guidebooks provided are a gesture of goodwill from Kendrick Homes to assist our customers to settle into their new property. We rely on the information supplied by the contractors and that is what is supplied to you as the end customer.’
So while the Home User Guide (which I consider to be a very important document) is branded as being produced by Kendrick Homes to provide their customers with instructions how to safely use and maintain the property they have sold you they clearly take no ownership of the document - it’s all down to their sub-contractors!
Kendrick Homes clearly feel that they have no responsibility to check the accuracy of the information they have provided. (It does make you wonder how closely the sub-contractors works are monitored and inspected to ensure they are of the specified quality while your property is being built?)
With the ‘nothing to do with us’ view coming from a member of the Kendrick Homes Senior Leadership team you can form your own view over the after sales service you are likely to receive.
This is an easy and inexpensive fix. If Kendrick Homes are providing this document they need to take ownership of it and appoint somebody within the organisation to be accountable for ensuring the content is comprehensive and correct.

Since then there have been snagging issues which have been dealt with by Neil in his patient and cheerful manner. The build quality is generally good, complemented by quality appliances. The heat pump keeps the house at a comfortable temperature, even on the coldest nights. We would have liked a lot more solar panels. Three is not enough.

I've recently completed on my first home at Cygnets Rest in Drakes Broughton. The house is beautiful and it already feels like home.
From the initial contact to site Encarna has been amazing and it's been a really smooth process buying the property. There was never any pressure to buy extras or upsell.
Encarna is such a vibrant person and is always cheerful to deal with and nothing is too much trouble. She is a credit to Kendrick.
Handover was smooth and the site finish is excellent. I cannot wait to see the whole site finished, it's going to be beautiful.
The site team have been responsive to any queries too which is great. Everyone working on site seems happy and it doesn't feel like anything is rushed.

We have now been in our beautiful family home at Laureate Ley, Minsterley for just over 2 months.
From initial viewing, to the many (many, many) repeats visits to decide where our new furniture was going to go,or just to admire our soon to be new home, Marco was the absolute best adviser we could ever have asked for. He was on the ball with chasing our buyer, our mortgage company and our solicitors to make the process as smooth as possible, all whilst ensuring the whole thing was as stress and hassle free as possible. He is a true asset and a gentleman.
The home itself is stunning, with superb attention to detail. Any small defects are swiftly dealt with via the clixifix app, using polite and friendly contractors who arrive punctually.
Our only regret is that we did not purchase our kendrick home sooner.

Lucie deserves 5⭐️s due to her dedication to support her buyers. She is amazing, making you feel like no question is silly and in your corner to make sure the house is to your expectations. As first time buyers, she has kept us sane throughout the whole process and we cannot thank her enough.
For Kendrick’s site management/construction, we experienced a few issues regarding one of our extras. There was a lack of communication from the site team when rectifying the initial issue, which led to it being wrong again! Once escalated to Head Office and a number of meetings, it did get resolved, but added a lot of stress to the process for us.
Quick fixes from Clixifix have been good so far, but we have been disappointed with the snagging check that took place before we moved in. There are issues which should have been identified during this check e.g. one door does not open fully and another has been hung the wrong side to access the light switches. Since flagging this to the team, we have been assured it will be fixed, but these are pretty obvious snags and should be identified, especially when we were told the snagging check is extensive to ensure all houses are to high quality.
There also seems to be a lack of attention to detail at times e.g. Site Manager told us we could connect the washing machine easy, but as we started to fit the washing machine, we identified there was a hole to connect the water but no hole had been created to connect the machine to the electrical mains. However, once added to Clixifix, this was fixed very quickly the next working day.
We do love our new home and every member of the team at Coopers Chase have been friendly and helpful. We would recommend the site team communicate with the buyers for clarification on their extras if needed to make sure they are done correctly in the first instance.
