Fensa is a waste of time , my builders didn’t fit my doors correctly and refused to acknowledge this , so I had an independent report carried out by Risa , this showed all the errors and what needed correcting. The builders stopped answering my calls so as they are Fensa registered I reached out to Fensa , they have no phone number so by email only. I was then told by fensa they couldn't help me as I didn’t have a certificate. Exactly, this is part of the problem, I needed their help to resolve this did just got fobbed off. The builder wins every time . !!!
Fends have not updated the changed local authority codes since April when several authorities merged. Local authority changes were planned years ahead what were they not ready? I have lost a house sale and they do not seem interested. Their lack of progress has cost me more than the window installation.
Spoke to a lovely lady as my cert was incorrect from my window company. The lady sorted it all out very quickly. Very impressed with their efficiency
Just getting the run round, complete cowboy job fitting of bay windows as the company hasn’t registered the work fensa won’t inspect.
What’s the point of fensa ?
FENSA are a waste of time, FENSA installer did not register certificate. FENSA could not careless, they said call Building control and ask them for a certificate. What is the point of this organisation??????
I’ve recently been trying to resolve a cracked door frame which is under guarantee. It was recommended to me that I contact FENSA.
My first stop was the FENSA website which I found really easy to navigate. It made it clear what FENSA can do - and crucially, what it cannot do.
With this information, I sent a message to their support team via the message portal online.
I received a reply within a couple of hours from Heather Parker who gave me some brilliant contacts/pointers about where to find the right help and support.
I’ve followed up on those contacts and I’m amazed at what help is out there for consumers facing installation faults and disputes.
I now feel much clearer on my consumer rights, how to seek redress and more than anything, I feel I have professional people I can turn to for advice and support.

Every time I have had a reason to contact FENSA, I have had the very best customer service! They've bent over backwards to assist when I've had customer's who require their certificates in a hurry. Heather called regarding an issue this morning and could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Many thanks from Thextons
Had and issue (my own fault) when purchasing a certificate, Heather who dealt with the enquiry, helped me out and was extremely helpful and my in opinion, an asset to Fensa.
Random rep came knocking pretending he didn't see the "No Cold Callers" notice (He looked at it on the camera playback)
Breached GDPR by giving personal details away for some customers down the road that we don't actually know.
Just like the previous reviewer, I had dealings with a so called support operative called Heather Parker who really could not have cared less. FENSA are quite clearly there for the benefit of the companies paying the membership fee rather than the consumer. Only given one star as zero is not an option. Hopeless.
You would find more use in a chocolate teapot.
Dealt with a customer service agent called Leni Duckering who just didn't care about helping. A robotic response that wouldnt even deserve the time of day.
Most definitely a money making scheme to rip off customers and protect the "old boys club"
just get any good installer and get it certified by your local authority... you dont even need fensa

It appears they are unaccountable to anyone. Tried to obtain information regarding Building Regs. without success. The people say they are undersaffed. I really don't know what they do except take money from teh glazing industry.
Just because the solicitor provides you with a Fensa certificate when you buy a property, it doesn't mean anything unless you transfer it in to your name, which has to be done in the first 12 weeks and you have to pay for the the privilege. Buyer beware.

I spoke to Heather who was really polite and immediately resolved my query immediately. I received an FENSA certificate with the incorrect door number the installer was contacted and a New certificate issued. Heather went above and beyond rang me back to confirm this. FENSA need more people like you.. Exceptional customer service.
