Formula One Autocentres - Chatham Bewertungen 

I used F1 autocentres a few years ago as my regular go to until they over tightened my spark plugs and caused a thread to strip so went off them a while. Last year they came up cheapest for tyres so I thought I’d give them a go but another branch (chatham) and all went well. Fast forward to this year and I needed a new tyre on my van due to a bulge so I thought I’d give them another go. Work was done and tracking completed but after the car seemed to occasionally pull to the side then cut back in. So booked it back in to be checked and had an awful experience. They took the car in put it on the tracking equipment and it seemed that the tracking wasn’t out. They didn’t tell me this but you can see and hear them as it’s all in full view and thin walls between the office and waiting area. They theb left the car for a good half hour before another person came and said they’ll take it for a test drive, was a quick up and down a residential street so they didn’t feel anything. But then they had the audacity to lie to my face and say they made some minor adjustments and all is okay now. The car was never worked on just tracking checked. So I looked at the car on the weekend to see what it could be and after taking the wheel with the new tyre on off (which was wobbling) clear as day one of the wishbone bolts was loose, at least a good 20mm out. Unbelievable, a quick look and anyone would of seen that, instead they just stuck the tracking gear on and that was it. Will definitely not be going back again, dangerous and amateur and living up to the bad reputation of lying to customers.

I visited your Chatham Branch to get 2 tyres fitted. The center was very busy. Unfortunately, due to an issue with my wheel nuts, I was there for a lot longer than planned, however, the staff were fantastic and did everything to make sure I left happy and safe. Occasionally things happen that can't be helped and delays occur but the staff were brilliant and professional when dealing with customers who became a bit nasty. Becky had me in stitches.

Had a blow out yesterday which doesn't put you in the best of moods but I was really pleasantly surprised by the customer service and care or Dave and one of his fitters, sorry didn't catch name. Restored some faith that this still exists out there. Thank you

Awful. Come to the centre on the 8th to gey a puncture repair. Was told at 5.15 that the tyre person had gone home with a sore throat. After a quick chat due to the damage on the tyre was also told I needed a new tyre and to cone back on the 9th! Was also told they had plenty of the tyre I wanted in stock.was also told the puncture repair I had paid for could be refunded when visiting on the 9th

Turned up on the 9th February and now told they have no tyres in stick and refund will be issued. Now have to come back on the 10th February to get pick up the new tyre and a refund couldn't be issued at the centre and I had to contact head office.

Always been more than happy with the service I receive here. They keep your car overnight if it`s a problem getting back. Jobs are always completed on time with clear billing prices. Staff are super friendly too!

To long to even try and explain. One problem after another. It all started with a simple MOT. All i can say is, STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY. It started on 22/12/2022 until 28/12/2022. I now have to take my car to a different garage to fix a tail light problem that they created because i dont trust them.

What great service. Wife had an issue with her bonnet release. She rang 2 garages and the dealership that couldn’t help. Becky and her team told my wife to bring it in to them and within an hour they sorted the problem and she is back on the road. Shame more business can’t be as helpful. Thank you for the great work.

Arrived for 11.oclock appointment at 10.45 as requested for rear tyre change. Tyres not there told they would be about half an hour but then told once they arrived it would be at least another hour and a half before they could be fitted. Best to say I was not pleased as I had a dental appointment at 12.30 so could not stay. I then asked if they could be fitted late afternoon and was told no spots left and they only had one technician on duty. Then asked if they could be fitted on Friday 16th no spots. I was told that I would have to wait till Sunday 18th at 10.00am so hopefully will get my tyre's fitted tomorrow. So all in all a six day wait for rear tyres not a very good performance from Formula One at all. Guy on the desk said that when appointments are booked on line you do not check with the shop who is going to do the work if that time is available. I hope this review gets some action between departments at Formula One and its outlets

On a recent visit to formula one. Very happy and impressed by all the staff. Especially the lady at the reception I had a flat tyre and was really stressed as I suffer with anxiety. Becky I’m sure her name was. Sat me down in the waiting room. And literally helped me so much. She was on her own in the reception and lots of customers waiting. But she really helped me. Thanku formula one.

Used the Chatham branch this afternoon after my daughters car suffered 2 damaged tyres. The lady I dealt with was extremely helpful and did a very good deal for us. Thank you very much, excellent service.

Great customer service, felt very at ease seeing a female member of staff at the garage whilst getting my car fixed, they explained exactly what needed to be done. Would definitely recommend.

No major issue, have used this garage for years for all mot, services and tyres. Just annoyed that they have lost a Citroen cap that goes on the center of my wheel and now have to purchase a set of 4 to replace! Other than that happy with service over the years.

Took my car in to the Maidstone Road, Chatham branch this morning after the EML came on after starting the engine and would not go off and remained on solid Amber.
Becky booked in my car and within 45 minutes sorted out the issue, thus giving me back my time to get to work.

Becky at the Chatham centre was very friendly and I always see her working really hard every time I go there.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE THEY CANT EVEN INPUT A CORRECT MILEAGE ON YOUR MOT. They will delete your Google reviews (i have proof) I went to sell my car at we buy any car on sunday 5th of June when completing the process they told me why is your vehicles mileage lower then what the last M.O.T. is. I did my M.O.T at the formula 1 auto centre in chatham on the 30th of march 2022. They said because of this they would offer me £6000 less. I then called the centre and asked them what to do they said to come in for a re test but I was hesitant as I don’t know if I could trust them with my vehicle again if they could make such a silly mistake already. The thing that really put me off going back for a re test was that the worker at we buy any car said it would be a deficiency and they would offer me £1500 less because the mileage would be lower then what the last MOT which makes clear sense because I would stay far away from vehicle if the mot history looks dodgy. He then advised me that as the car was now only 550 miles away From the actual mileage on the MOT from march that the best option was to get it up to that mileage and return back. Which I did I spent £300 on insurance as mine had run out and fuel to complete this. I then contacted the complaints team for formula one and informed them of the problem and what had happened. I received a call from the regional manager on the 7th June and without even explaining my self or even offering a apology he tried to blame it on me for not bringing the car in for a re test. I then explained it to him over and over the problem (the calls are recorded)and he was eventually understanding and admitted himself he would not buy a vehicle with that mot history. He said to me that he would Call me in 24 hours and send over all the expenses he failed to call instead he sent an email and offered me a refund on the MOT and said it was my fault that I didn’t bring the vehicle back in for a re test. Why should I be forced into taking my vehicle to a garage I can’t trust and is over an hour drive for me which I would also have to purchase day insurance to get too for my vehicles value to be decrease by £1500? Sometimes in life you got to put your hands up and say my bad we made a mistake instead of blaming your mistakes on the customer.
