This USED to be a good site and I used it a lot when I worked for the NHS. Now, if I use it privately, the search facility is crazy weird, pretty useless and doesn't find ANY advertised events. I dread to think how on earth you'd book tickets. Utterly rubbish, waste of time. I'm SO bored of it.. I've tried several times. It shouldn't be this hard and that a load of time I won't get back.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE — like many of the people here I was scammed of an event that wasn’t real & they have zero real policy about replying to your reporting a fraudulent event. Zero time scale on when you can expect to hear back.
Worst part is the event that is 100% a SCAM is still up for purchase! God knows how many other people have been scammed since I was…! And prior to me.
I was using Eventbrite quite a bit for various events and NEVER AGAIN. It’s not worth the risk. Such a joke.

Awful! Booked an event, turned up and there was nothing going on. Eventbrite agreed the listing was fraudulent, thanked me for flagging it… but refused to refund. What is the point of using them at all. Wish I’d seen the lay of the land on here before booking. Not booking any further paid events from them again - EVER. Ridiculous.
Do not part with your money. AWFUL ORGANISATION.
Absolutely awful organisation to deal with. They. DO NOT offer refunds, despite what their regulations say. I am still waiting for a refund a month after I requested an event that has yet to happen. I have not received confirmation emails, and all attempts at communications have been frustrated. They have THE worst customer relations I’ve ever dealt with.
I would not use this organisation again, especially when it means parting with your money . I would give ZERO score if I could.

Genuinely awful to work with (against)
Genuinely awful to work with. Horrid customer attitude and very very self serving policies. Very expensive fees, inflexible and unpleasant. They have policies which mean they absolutely will not pay out funds toward an event until after it's happened. They have cut-and-paste answers to queries, very poor understanding of customer satisfaction and a naive use of Ai to trick you into thinking they're answering questions. There are better, cheaper options which have better features - TicketTaylor have been excellent. If you have shares in EventBrite they're spent, I'd sell them fast, if you're thinking of hosting an event, look elsewhere.
Shocking website with constant bugs
This is one of the worst websites I have ever encountered. It's like something from out of the 80's- it's not user friendly, it's confusing and impossible to navigate.
This is bad enough, but things get a whole lot worse when you try to publish an event. 75% of the time based on my experience there is a major bug that creates problems and means it's impossible to use. In fact, I've just received an email now saying there's yet another incident.
It's not fit for purpose and it shouldn't be full of flaws like this. Whoever designed this website clearly has never had to actually use it.
The fact they don't even bother to reply to messages- nor can you contact anyone speaks volumes. Any company that scores 1 on here indicates problems from the top down.
Totally ("brite") OVERRIPE and DECAYED
Well, now I have clearly understood that this company doesn't serve us because it doesn't captivate us at all, witnessing all the negative reviews in this page.
For 3 days that I have been trying to contact Eventbrite (in 4 calls) to be clarified about an event promotion I am organising. Nobody answers the phone and it terminates by itself. It always starts saying we are the "3rd", then the "2nd" and then finally "you are the next" and we stay full of hope guided by the natural sequence but it will never happen to get some "profession" taking care of our aim as a customer. Even if we "are the next one" from the beginning, it will never happens.
SHAMEFUL "project" this one of Eventbrite.
It is the case to say that it got so overripe that it became of no use, totally decayed to deal with any Event of ours.

Awful! I'd give zero stars if I could, There should be a governing body for all websites, where they make it mandatory for companies to provide a telephone number for existing customers, for the customer service advisor to speak English, and to answer the phone (and not cut you off) within 5 minutes. These companies employ foreign nationals, that can't speak English and don't want to help. They deny you any access by phone to someone in customer services. I need a quick answer to a question, so as they deliberately don't provide you with a telephone number to call for existing customer, I called their sales telephone number where i got a foreign lady who said. 'Please no help - please go to customer support help for answer. I can't help you as you've called sales'. Don't use this company.
Pure scam
Pure scam! Had to chase a refund for an event cancelled by the organiser, they said they sent it on 30 of Jan, in March and still nothing! All their links to forms and refund requests are fake, no customer service email, no way to contact them, they’re just taking people’s money without any justification. WILL NEVER BOOK AN EVENT FROM THEM AGAIN!

I order tickets costing £80 as a gift to someone. In the end, they couldn’t go, so, in accordance with the terms and conditions, I requested a refund (this was clearly within the time limits shown). My refund has been ‘pending’ ever since.
As other reviewers have said, it is impossible to speak to anyone at Eventbrite. There is no phone number, no email address, I’ve even tried contacting them through Instagram. The only response I can get is from a chatbot and that simply says ‘contact the organiser’ which I have tried to do on many occasions. From the reviews on here and the lack of updating on their social media, I will not be booking anything on Eventbrite again, I would have no faith that the event will go ahead and there is no support whatsoever when something goes wrong.

bought tickets for speed dating with a friend.
the numbers wern't enough so they cancelled the event - my friend received and email and i called the venue and they said the same thing. it was re-organised for 2 weeks later.
Eventbright sent no update to me, refused a refund and told me to contact the organiser in attempt to get one. They haven't updated their site even after the event so they're pretending like it went ahead. No real customer service and with other methods of booking tickets, don't bother using eventbright as they literally only make it more difficult for you.

The app has been updated and what a joke it is now. It’s nightmare to use. If it isn’t broke don’t fix it. Was so simple before, now it takes me forever to find the event I follow. I even search for my event and it won’t find it. I have to go to old tickets and find the event that way. Just go back to how it was before.

Possibly the worst service I have ever received. If I ever see an event who sell tickets on Eventbrite in the future, I won't buy them - I'd rather miss out. The service - appalling, Missing tickets, won't help me on the phone, customer service agents who speak little to no English causing further issues. Staff are condescending, tunnel minded and unhelpful - the worst is they genuinely do not care either so there is no one to help you. Raising online enquiries doesn't work, no-one gets back to you. Never ever will I put myself through this again. If this review stops one person using Eventbrite, then this review is a success.
