I would also give this a zero
I would also give this a zero! While in Aruba someone stopped us on street and told us to open a ticket in front of them claiming one of us won a rare prize but had to wait for it to be scratched on a weekday morning. When we arrived we were supposed to sit through a timeshare similar presentation via Arriva. All a Scam! There were mad when nobody would purchase so we proceeded to scratch our prize which was a trip for two anywhere just had to pay the taxes. Upon visiting the website it directs you to, the website is a fake and you are unable to purchase any travel! If anyone asks you to open these ignore them and hand them back! It’s a scam to make you sit for two and a half hours when it was only supposed to be for one hour!!! Pathetic!
We got sucked into this vacation…
We got sucked into this vacation look-a-like timeshare scam promotion also. When the pressure to purchase started and the price started dropping and they changed salesmen 3 times then brought in their MANAGER. When he said "HOW CAN YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT NOT BUYING THIS, THATS HER COMMISSION". WE WALKED
This company is a big scam!!
This company is a big scam!!! After winning a grand prize of a 7-day luxury vacation anywhere around the world for two people, upon trying to book my reservation I found out that I have to pay Endless Vacation Rentals $349.00. And upon choosing the resort I was made aware that I must pay and additional $430.00 per night totalling almost $3,000.00; because I am forced to accept an All Inclusive clause imposed by the hotel. As a result, the grand prize I supposedly won ends up being more expansive than if I had booked my trip through Travelocity-Booking-Expedia.
Endless Vacation Rentals is a total fraud. People should stay away from this company because the product they advertise is absolutely fake; they try to get your money without providing the service.
These monsters should be shut down !!!!!!!!!
My work offers us to purchase a Certificate for our clients for $299.00 stating that we can stay at any resort for free.
This is the BIGGEST Scam. !
STAY CLEAR OF THIS OR RESORT VACATION CERTIFICATE!
They will make you purchase a certificate first then will charge you MORE than if you were to just use bookiing.com in hidden fees. or will offer an "upgraded" cert. for several hundreds of $$$ and after you buy that one , will tell you that here are no availble dates so you can not use it.
We had to pay $50 for this certificate…
We had to pay $50 for this certificate before we sat through a horrible vaction club presentation. Everytime we try to book something its not available, we have to pay an amount more than if we booked it ourselves and all the places to are look horrible. We were given the impression that we would get to stay at a Wyndham resort. Very disapointed.
Yes I stayed at silver lake resort from…
Yes I stayed at silver lake resort from July 15 to July 22nd and u had no help from either endless vacation rentals or silver lake resort I told them I had 5 people in my party made it very clear and they gave me a 1 room with 1 bed a half kitchen and mini fridge it was horrible wouldn't recommend at all !!!!!
If I could rate it 0
If I could rate it 0, I would. We were invited to attend one of there seminars in Pigeon Forge TN at the Island next to Margaritaville. Our seminar was scheduled for 1030am. The individual who walked us through the program was late and never apologized. they do emphasize that your time is valuable. I will make this short, Once my wife and I decided not to purchase the program they became very disrespectful. The gentleman who presented us the program and his supervisor was very insistent on why we said no. Once the supervisor left our presenter continued his questioning and then mentioned how we wasted his time? And this is how gets paid. He turned around and walked away with never shaking our hand or thanking us for being interested. With that being said, there is absolutely no chance that I will ever stay at a Wyndham resort or think about joining the program due to their actions.
Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. We won 7days to anywhere of our choice. Everything that is without paying extra is a not worth going. Spend additional $75 to extend the certificate and it is about to expire in 5 days and we still can't book a decent place without paying anything extra. Won't be ever going with Wyndham.
Do not waste your time!!
Do not waste your time!!! My certificate expired, I never even had a chance to use it due to Covid and me not wanting to travel at the time, my certificate was extended BUt AGAIN Covid is still here!! Now they want me to pay a “REACTIVATION” fee which is the same amount that I paid for the certificate!!!! Please don’t waste your time or money!!!
Stay away
Booked 3 rooms through certificates and due to family travel restrictions had to cancel dates and needed to rebook for one week before original dates. Absolutely no ability to change even though property has ample supply of inventory available. Manager gets on phone and spews out speech and reminded me that it wasn't their fault our plans changed and perhaps another family member can take the rooms...really? We ARE the family.
Do not play this game
Do not play this game, I was in Aruba and won a certificates to go for a week to any resort, you have to pay 350usd to register, I booked a hotel and they charged me just for fee more than regular price you book on linefor acomodación . Plus you lose your registration fee, this is a SCAM. STAY AWAY FROM EVR.
We "Won" a "free vacation to anywhere…
We "Won" a "free vacation to anywhere we want" which consisted of this certificate - while vacationing in Arua- Agreed to listen to a 90 min discussion about a VERY expensive travel club. (Similar to a time-share sales pitch but shorter and less pressure).
It is probably possible to get somewhat of a deal ut it is really quite a scam. You are limited as to where you can go; there is a redemption fee of $350 plus you are responsible for taxes and other per-PERSON fees and who-knows-what else. So not at all free (never disclosed to us in the beginning) and very limited: off season or off-peak and only limited locations.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS!!
A year on and still no refund
Our booking was cancelled by EVR because of COVID. Our Certificate was reactivated to use for 6 more months (useless as pandemic still ongoing so nothing on the site) and we were promised a refund of the "upgrade fees" id paid months before the pandemic even began. Its been a year and Im still waiting for my money, theyre now ignoring my emails and Ive been hung up on twice by operators when chasing. Their "toll free number" is certainly not and has cost me a bomb calling trying to find out whats going on. Ive now applied for credit card chargeback and they still wont cooperate. If you are unlucky like us to win a certificate for these people do not use it its more hassle than it could ever be worth!
Not bad at all
Great customer service during pandemic.
Booked a vacation rental in Spain for this Friday. Unable to travel due to Government advice. Contacted EVR via email on Monday and they responded next day offering a full refund without cancellation fee which should have been 90% of booking price. This is the kind of customer service that gives me confidence in a company and will defiantly use your company in future. Thank you
Basically EVR gets its inventory from…
Basically EVR gets its inventory from RCI. Its great if you are a client from EVR, because its free. But if you are an RCI member, you are probably very upset that RCI is giving away their inventory to the public free of charge. And EVR isnt the only company, EVR actually operates under many different names and websites.
For those who are unfamiliar with RCI and EVR. To be an RCI member, not only do you pay an annual renewal fee. You must also be a timeshare owner and pay yearly maintenance fees. RCI claims to be exclusive, but its not. With its under the table dealings, RCI provides free access to its inventory to a plethora of shady travel companies. You may ask why? Well, because RCI is unable to sell all of its excess inventory, and instead of lowering the price for its members, it rather give it cheaper to non-members (secretly under fake company names) while increasing their member's yearly rates and exchange fees.
If you say "Well the same inventory is a few bucks cheaper on the RCI site" ... but did you consider the annual fee? the exchange fee? the mandatory maintenance fees to your resort? The Guest Certificate fee?
Most times, the inventory is cheaper on websites like EVR, or those powered by SAVON which is now operated by ICE.
FYI, as a side note, SAVON operates under 500 different websites names.... which is why SAVON can easily make its way in and out of niches and shut down websites that draw too much negative attention. All they simply do is open another. Both EVR and RCI have let this go on for many years. Why? 1. its profitable. 2. their liability is minal since they pretend to not know what SAVON is doing. Plausible deniability.
Caveat Emptor...SCAM
Caveat emptor buyer beware. This is an absolute scam where they promised they will not charge you until after the 30 day guarantee. They state this because they are so confident in their product and that you will succeed that they don’t even want to take your money because this is not about money. However upon signing up I am immediately charged and then going to watch the opening video where I am then told that until I get to day 31 I don’t even get the whole package. This is a fraudulent way of circumventing their own guarantee system that they were so confident in that they didn’t even want to take your money but had to take your money and then lie to you to keep your money stay far away from these people
Scam
Scam! They charged me over $300 to “book” a trip with “discounted rates”. Absolute lie. I did not get discounted rates. I had to pay more than the hotel had listed!
SCAM
SCAM! I repeat SCAM!
I won a "FREE" honeymoon from this company. The honeymoon did not include flights or cover the "booking fee" ($320). This lead me to believe that the hotel was include - AS IMPLIED FROM MY RECEIPT. The day before, I call to ask if we could add another person to the reservation. I am then informed that there is an additional fee of $232 PER PERSON PER DAY (for everyone).
I checked the hotel site and the cost listed on their site was $227 per person per night (all fees included). So what exactly did I "win" if I am expected to pay for the hotel, the flight, and "booking fee"?!?! I paid more for the trip than I would have WITHOUT "winning" a trip from this scam website.
The woman I spoke to would not let me speak to anyone else. She claimed that this was in the terms and conditions. However, she refused to send me any documentation. She informed me that the website had the information but could not show me WHERE.
Tldr; absolute SCAM. Do not use.
You can find good places to stay.
I am retired. I can go off for a week at almost any time.. Been very happily with the places I have found so far. Staying in a nice two bedroom unit at a Wyndham, at North Myrtle beach. Had to spent $190 for upgrade. That’s OK with me.
If you look at the listings frequently, you can find something good. Requires diligent searching.
