Following the awful accident today on the m50 it makes my blood boil to watch the rubberneckers heading south bound slowing down and causing major delays then as soon as the accident is passed there is a clear road ahead being a delivery driver in Dublin I see this every single day on the m50 with the millions this road makes every year wouldn’t it make more sense to put a fence up the middle of the road to stop this occurring it was even said on the national news today about delays due to the rubberneckers it would be nice to be able to make a journey on the m50 without out having to allow
For delays and sit in a traffic a jam needlessly and it might take some the pain out of what it costs to use this road every day it would obviously make traffic flow quicker and make your customers travel Time home quicker and this wasn’t just to day it’s every day this needs to be addressed,Marc walsh

Very upset at eflow. On 5th Feb’24, I travelled on the M50 in my daughter’s car and both to and fro toll fees were paid at the Lucan Circle K that same morning, €3.70 each journey and my debit card was debited accordingly by €7.40. I don’t open my daughter’s mail but when she came home, she had two letters waiting for her, the latter a penalty for €360!!! Neither herself nor myself were informed when logging onto the account where I had made sure to register her car as nowhere did it said that any payment was outstanding, and since I had paid at the Lucan village petrol station, I thought nothing of it. I didn’t even received any mail saying that there was anything outstanding (I registered both my daughter’s and my car under the same account and with my email as the main contact). I am absolutely shocked at having received such unjustified penalty and I am at a complete loss, having searched online how to resolve and it seems that eflow are consistently unhelpful and will not investigate at their end in most cases. I don’t see why we should pay any penalty (€360 at that) when both toll fees were paid on time (as in within 30 min of last toll crossing) a a petrol station. What’s the point in paying at a petrol station if eflow doesn’t investigate flows in their relationship with petrol stations when it comes to toll payments and us, the good citizens who do pay on time are left having to pay the brunt!!! Very upset!!!
In addition to the above which I wrote yesterday, I received a response from efliow telling me to contact their customer service which I had done already but sure enough, they cover themselves very well since many of us paying at petrol stations the odd time wouldn’t keep receipts three months after paying a toll fee. My bank’s statement is the only proof I have that I paid that morning and I have sent this to their solicitor, but not hopeful as, as mentioned in my earlier mail, the letter received from eflow solicitor which my daughter only opened yesterday since she was only home this May bank holiday week end expires tomorrow with threat of Court action!!! Very very upset indeed!!!

I was fined by eflow for 2 journeys I did not make on Easter Monday. I had driven to Limerick to visit family for the Easter break several days before and after. I have bank transactions for every day apart from 1st as it was a bank holiday and I didn't spend money that day. My daughter was very sick during the entire holiday so i took her to the doctor in Limerick and to UHL for a blood test the morning of April 2nd. I also paid for the motorway each way from Dublin to Limerick, which records one's licence plates. It is very concerning that there is a photo of my car on a final penalty letter (I didn't receive any prior notice) dated April 5th that isn't genuine. I called eflow and paid the penalty but then later remembered i hadn't been in Dublin on April 1st so I felt I should call them to have this discussion. They said it was impossible for there to be any mistake, implying that I was lying, and that nothing will be done. I believe this is a very alarming situation. I set up an account but am now very sceptical about its management.

Tolled for using a slip road- I did not know so got a letter and they had doubled the fee. I will gladly drive into the city center from now on to avoid giving these vile scum a single cent.

Heading the back way to the airport, from my place only adds an extra 5 mins late at night to bypass the M50 toll, get to the point where I am supposed to enter the M50 after the toll point, but the intersection was closed, no notice at all coming from my direction and no option but to enter the M50 in the opposite direction back towards the toll point (i.e. could not turn around or go past the M50 entrance it was the only option short of chucking a U-turn and driving back up the wrong side of the highway). Annoying but surely an email to Etoll would sort it out. Nope, they advised I should be checking some obscure website for all up to date traffic conditions before I start my journey and would not refund the amount I was charged as I used the toll (twice as I had to then turn around and get back on the toll immediately afterwards so as to not miss my flight). Totally reasonable and not a large corporation basically doing whatever they feel like without any human perspective. Usually only boycotted the Etoll late at night but I’m now going to add 30 mins daily to my total daily drive commute time, but I will do it with a smile as I think about the €6 that would have been going to these crooks now going towards my petrol bill instead. Minimum 5 x per week, 44 weeks per year, likely will be at the same job for the next decade or two. I’d say they just lost about €15k revenue from the following response:
“We have reviewed your case.
I can confirm that two journeys dated 23/03/2024 are valid and correctly charged to your eFlow account.
Please see the website traffic.tii.ie for future roadwork information that may disrupt your travel.
Your dispute (Case ID:xxxxxx) has now been closed.”

This company forced me onto a freeway immediately before a toll giving me no other option but to enter the freeway and be charged going in the wrong direction to my intended destination. They had every other option barricaded off and no signage to indicate this would be the case. Oh right, sorry, they informed the public via some random mapping website that no one uses. Now they offer me a way to set up an account to pay my next trip easier. I actually have the token and an account already thanks, I’m sure I’ll use it again, next time they pull this stunt. Otherwise I’ll be taking the slightly longer route to work each day. Sure look it’s a nice drive through Phoenix park anyway.

Made 2 journeys last Thursday and tried to pay them on the night but when I accessed eflow.ie, the homepage had a message that payments were not possible at the moment but not to worry as there will be an grace period to allow travellers to pay their tolls. I tried again on Friday / Saturday only to see the same message. Was finally able to make the payment on Monday eve. Then at the end of last week received a fine!! I called customer care to resolve the matter as there must have been some system error made with my fine. The lady on the phone was very rude and said that the system was never down??? Accusing me if lying?? How could she think that I could lie them regarding their system?? Absolutely ridiculous! She was asked for her name and would not give it also!

This company makes loads of money by not hiring IT talent, among other things. After 1 hour on chat with IT staff, they could not....1. suggest any solution for why payzone URL redirect failed for me (complete website fail) , they could not help my update payments details, they could not tell me why payment failed..They could not provide any assistance at all ,other than get a human to ring me back at some undisclosed time in the future. For everyone else, here is the solution to the broken website.
1. if you are outside ireland, use VPN to pretend you are in ireland.
2. use chrome browser only in incognito mode on PC
3. log on to website and it may work now.

If you have an issue with eflow, pray that Patricia is not the one in contact with you, and if its her, ask for someone else, a manager or anyone else. Please send her to further training, this person isnt just clueless but at the same time an ignorant and just not willing to help.
I want to thank Eric though, for helping me and sorting it all out .

Tried to pay the toll on my phone but the site is not set up to be user friendly on a phone. This is known by eflow as per previous complaints but not resolved. I paid my toll on my lap top as soon as I got home but I got a letter looking for the toll and the penalty. I went to pay the penalty but the system does not allow you to adjust the amount due (and pay only what is due). I chatted online and was told I would need to ring to resolve this (time and money for a phonecall) I have been promised a call back. These problems are known by eflow (see previous complaints) but not resolved. This strikes me as fraudulent behaviour as they are aware of the issues but as the amounts are small and they are relying on people just giving up and paying it.

We travel to Ireland a couple of times a year so use the M50. We always pay our toll on line immediately after going through the M50. Fortunately we always keep the receipt. Because every time 2 months after travel we get a letter saying we haven't paid. We are absolutely sick to death of this rubbish system. I send a copy of my receipt to them and they agree it's been paid. I travel through Austria Switzerland and France in summer and never have a problem with tolls or vignettes. But Ireland the system is shockingly bad, and this has happened for the last 4 years. POOR POOR POOR!

Why does the website always have issues!? Is it so you can't pay and forget to do so before the 8pm deadline the next day?? You keep putting a banner across the top of the page about scam texts making it impossible to type in the registration of the vehicle on a smart phone. I'd rather drive round the toll than give this lot a cent!!!
FIX YOUR WEBSITE BEFORE SOMEONE SUE'S YOU!!!!
