At last I'm free from this bunch with expiry of domain registration.
To add insult to injury, they then offer price reduction in attempt to retain my custom.
Following my post, EasySpace, or how I now think of them DifficultSpace, has added a lengthy reply repeating their lies.
In all my days of dealing with any customer support teams, I have never encountered such unhelpful or unfair practises.

We've got a new contender for worst domain registrar!
Absolutely awful company. Website and control panel is slow and clunky. Every update seems to take for ever, basic stuff like changing a nameserver which should be visible at the registry in minutes seems to take hours or days. Support is about as useful as a chocolate teapot and they have the audacity to charge you £15+VAT to leave! Imagine charging your customers to leave!
To be clear, the transfer out process is completely automated and doesn't cost them a penny, it's just a way to screw you some more. If anyone else is reading this and has a UK domain (.co.uk, .org.uk etc.) please note, you can search for Nominet Online Services, sign up using the email address your domain is registered to and use that to initiate a transfer. It's still got a charge (£12 as of time of writing) but you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you're not lining the pockets of Easyspace. They also can't stop you doing it this way either.

Email Account Closed
I have two domains registered with Easyspace, with a dozen email accounts. In December, Easyspace froze the account belonging to our data controller, claiming that it had been compromised. This account is seldom used and the affected email address does not appear anywhere on the internet. It is only known to a handful of companies and frankly any breach in security is unlikely to be from our side. Neither I nor my staff use public computers for work.
I have attempted to satisfy Easyspace by offering to set up 2fa but despite numerous attempts it simply isn't working.
Left with no access to my control panel and unable to manage my company's website I am forced, after a month battling with this issue, to change hosting services in order to continue in business. I cannot have a key member of staff left without email facilities for weeks or even months. PS. I have sent Simon Hope details of my new nameservers since I have no access to my Control Panel. Please make the necessary changes so that the site may be transferred to Hostinger.

This after meeting their stated, and good, timescale once the project started, always being readily available on phone and email, in regular contact, and providing good guidance to me, a novice in this IT field. Just excellent straight forward support from the sales team again today.
Easyspace make the case for well trained staff helping businesses deal with customers who do not have robotic requirements. They don't simply point you to a set of FAQs that have not been frequently asked ever.

I registered a .XXX domain many years…
I registered a .XXX domain many years ago with this company, they refused to reregister it on my behalf, it was then sold for a lot of money i think it was resold to another person at a higher price. I then went to register natural.xxx they took my money, sent invoice and next day demanded another £256 saying they didnt know the registration price was higher as it is a premium domain, they have been in the domain name industry since July 1997 IE 27 years. What company that has been trading 27 years does not know the price, for example GoDaddy when advertising the same domain state on the website that it is a premium domain name and have an up front price, no extras, the price you see is the price you pay i tried using consumer rights but they completely ignore it, So basically if you decide to register a domain name with easyspace the price you pay may be be wrong and they ask for more money a few days later... do not assume you own a domain name even if you have a purchase receipt. I will be taking this up with citizens advice and trading standards... Hopefully this although may not resolve the problem for me will make easyspace more open and honest to purchasers and not hide it in the 65941 words on their terms and conditions page

Excellent customer service and support …
I have been using easy space for domain names since 2009 and highly recommend this company. I recently needed to merge two separate accounts to simplify logins and account management. The support and speed of assistance was first class. My query was dealt with promptly and resolved in under 2-hours. Great company with excellent customer service.

The pricing policy to have to pay to…
The pricing policy to have to pay to leave is awful. So having been held hostage for almost 20 years I decided to move my domains - they were not only costly to move (£18 per domain) but the renewals had been expensive and increasing and came with only basics - no SSL.
And the communications to upgrade via text are like spam. Doesn't give me confidence at all.
It's disappointing that this organisation doesn't invest in good customer experiences - I wouldn't recommend.
'A great customer experience is when you can leave as easily as you can join.'

I have been with Easyspace for a few…
I have been with Easyspace for a few years but I would not use them again. I switched off the auto-renew on my account as I did not want to renew the service on one of my domains. I received a call to say that I would still receive an invoice and I needed to cancel the service, not just switch off the auto-renew. They made it very difficult for me to cancel the service, I was unable to do so online. I was then sent an email that I had to respond to. I did this and heard nothing. In the end I had to chase them to see if they had actually cancelled the service for fear of being charged again. I'm not a fan of companies that make it difficult for people to cancel services when no longer required.

I have been with Easyspace since the time when they aquired ownership of my services from the previous provider and I have to say that in dealing with them I have found them to be always helpful, courteous and informative, so have been very happy to stay with them throughout my time of need.

Been with Easyspace for 2 years now and…
Been with Easyspace for 2 years now and im useless at tech. Their tech support I find OUTSTANDING. Had to authenticate my email for my business shopify site (it was like talking a foreign language to me) rang up the support line got through in 5 mins and an amazing brilliant man just said no problem I can do that for you. Ill email you when its all done. Not their responsibility to do this and amazing help for a small business owner who struggles with tech! I cant recommend them highly enough. They host our email and our website. I was recommended to them by a fellow small business owner and very grateful I found them! I find the fees fair and reasonable, yes you can prob shop around and get cheaper, but would the support/help/setup be the same - I don't think so!

Been with Easyspace for years without…
Been with Easyspace for years without problems. Not sure if they are going under or just doing a Ryanair. Pay for domain name but your customers or friends have trouble viewing it. Now you have to pay to buy their Security Unlock. So you pay for domain then have to pay again for Security..... I've had so many people contact me to advise they cannot view site because of a Security Issue. I would have paid but not now. I do not like to be held to ransom or blackmailed..... Stop sending out give us money eMails....

Fantastic Company
Mark called me this morning in response to a support ticket. Not only did he sort the issue but he also checked my other services made some adjustments to save me money. I love this company. Never let me down and always there in case of an issue, which happens very rarely, and is why I just hosted my new website with them. Everyone Ive spoken is straight, on the ball and super helpful.

Took £145 for email services renewal
Took £145 for email services renewal, had tried to remove card on record but although site says you can delete the card you can not. Anyway card had expired but somehow they still took the funds 1 month before renewal.
Spoke to them, they refused to refund even though it was advance payment for services not expired and just sent me list of terms and conditions. No offer to refund , 20 years been using this company. No anymore

I made a major error with my email…
I made a major error with my email account, I accidently deleted it!!!!! Don't ask! I called Easypace to rectify.
Even though it occurred after hours on a Friday I had an online chat with an employee who instructed me what to do and raised a ticket.
On the Monday I received a call from Easypace to verify the problem, and then they promptly resolved it.
I would highly recommend this company, as in this day and age it is hard to speak to a real person, with this company you will have no problem.

I have always found easyspace to be… 5*
I have always found easyspace to be dependable, safe and trustworthy over many years as a customer.
In this instance their customer support was again spot on clearing up a small issue I was unable to rectify myself using the easyspace website's usually very clear and informative tutorials.
Impressively, there was a follow-up email from easyspace a day or two after our interaction to ensure that my issue had been satisfactorily resolved.
Well done and thanks easyspace.
