I ordered a dress based on the size chart and color and it was not true to size, nor was it the color I ordered. I’ve attempted a refund and they responded but did not give me the return address. They said I would have to pay for shipping and they take an additional $45 from my refund from their shipping. WTH?? This place apparently is a scam as I’m being ghosted now. I’m out $170. I’m calling my credit card company to refuse to pay them. Update: they have offered a full refund but I have to send the dress back first- I declined this offer. Shipping to China is crazy. Who knew this was a foreign company to start with? I will not send another dime that way. I’ve called my credit card company and filed a case against them. Keep fighting ladies. I will not stop!

My dress didn’t really look like the one that was advertised and didn’t fit well at all. When I attempted to return it, per the advertised return policy, complete silence. Please don’t waste your money! I guess Goodwill will be benefiting from my loss.

This company is a fake company they took my money and never sent the dress and customer service refuses to return any complaint I have. DO NOT be screwed days before ur wedding without a dress I even paid for expedited delivery and they promised me it would be here. I just found out my package was returned to sender and undeliverable!

Please research carefully before buying. Company based in China. The refund policy stated on the website is not correct. The dress I ordered was strangely sized, poor quality and nothing like the photo.
I corresponded three times with the company before they shared the return address. Returns to China could cost more than the clothes item itself and the company will also deduct the postage cost they incurred.
It is therefore a financial risk buying from this company. I wish I had done my research properly as I am now out of pocket by £100

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER, EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I fell in love with a dress they advertised, bought it, and they shipped it inside a plastic bag, rolled into a ball. The dress was so wrinkled it cannot be repaired. I took it to three people trying to get the wrinkles out and it is just ruined. When I requested a refund, I was told I was three days too late and got a lecture about how things work in the country where the customer service person lives. They took NO responsibility for rolling the dress into a ball and shoving and shipping it in a plastic FedEx bag, despite that I sent pictures of how it arrived. Now I have no wedding dress and have been given a lecture on the fact that my expectations are unrealistic. I could not be angrier. You do not treat customer's this way. So, long story short, expect a ruined product and don't expect any customer service assistance at all. This company is HORRIBLE!

The wedding dress.. custom sized…fit well in the waist and length. The bust area was too large and stuck out. The sleeves were too big around. But the worst is that it does not look like the picture..Not the same sleeve material nor lace. It is not made the same I the front. Beading was shown to curve up from the waist and between the breasts…it does not…just a big wider than shown band of it around the front.

One more thing….don’t trust the reviews you see on the site. I tried to leave a review there and it would t let me

Rip off! I ordered two dresses and then canceled my order the next day and I’m still waiting for my refund 30 days later. Time to file a claim with my credit card! Don’t use this company!

So I have a colorado elopement planned and haven't immediately fallen in love with a dress like the one from this website! I was so scared after reading some of the reviews, but again i just loved the look of this specific dress so I went for it. The dress arrived 14 days after I placed my order (I was SO shocked) and is actually amazing quality! The train on it is beautiful. I ordered a size up (so my seamstress could fit it perfect) and it's exactly a size up for me, so if I had ordered my exact size I think it would've been an exact fit (i opted out of the custom option so i could potentially return it.) Couldn't recommend this company enough!

Awful. Dress was covered in pen, awful quality and fit. Refused a refund and they kept offering me stupid deals even though the site says full refund before a certain time frame. I emailed them with pictures of it the day I got it and they just kept trying to avoid giving me money back. Only when I threatened to get the bank involved they agreed and I still lost the return delivery fee which was 75 dollars. Avoid these scammers

So I am writing a good review for this company in spite of the fact the dress was not a right fit for me. This was not any part of the company's error, but just the differences in body types. There are reasons that dressing rooms exist, or at least, use to exist.

In an age of increased online shopping, we have to accept not everything will be perfect or completely right. It is the company and their policies that should fit us though.

In saying all this, I happily found that this company did that and went beyond the expected and was more than helpful in returning the dress.

Also, I found the dress to be of good quality for a fair price. And, I liked the fact that they offered more formal dress styles than what Amazon did and at my local stores. I would buy from them again if the occasion arose. Though next time I will likely try to find a simpler dress.

Dorriswedding gave me the best service with amazing masterpiece!! At first, I chose Dorriswedding simply because my friend recommended. Both of us are fully satisfied, and without doubt, we would say: It's Dorriswedding gave us incredible experience.. I just can't understand those bad reviews here. I wish my best luck to you, Dorriswedding. I just want to say: "Don't prove your goodness to anyone, TIME will prove itself anyway."

If there was an option to give negative stars I would have! My dress did not fit even after using their measurement chart, it was terrible cheap quality, nothing like the photos, it cost me $120 for return postage, & I still haven’t received my refund months later!

Didn’t match the picture as well as I would’ve liked but was still pretty and great for the value— got a lot of compliments and only needed a small alteration.

THE WORST COMPANY EVER! Ugly dresses that are the wrong size.

Just received my dress today. I ordered champagne and got peach. Custom measured and it is too long and too big. Looks like I am wearing a tent. One snap already broken. Went back to the website, which is now gone. Dress was shipped from China! Had I know that, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Please... don’t order from dorriswedding.com!!!!

I ordered a dress for a wedding and receive exactly what I ordered. It is made custom to you and what I received was GORGEOUS. The handiwork was top notch. Very well made and the material was of great quality.

Please do not waste your money with this company. The dresses are terrible rip offs of designer dresses. The quality is terrible and they look nothing like the photos. I ordered a custom size and it is 3 sizes to small. They refuse to acknowledge this and lie and will say anything to get out of refunding.

I provided a photo of the dress sent to me as requested SOLID EVIDENECE and have had no reply about this photo. Dorris wedding sent me another photo of a different dress. Dorris Wedding please explain why the photo I took of the dress has different / the wrong measurements? You have taken a photo of another dress you are not being honest, and this is NOT solid evidence.

Do NOT order from this company!!!!! I can not stress this enough!!!! If you are thinking about doing so save yourself the time and frustration while you still can!! Prior to ordering my dress I sent several e-mails asking about the dress and in particular if it had a train and was told it was a “full length dress without a train” When I recieved the dress it was the wrong color, had a train, beading was literally falling off and the straps were all messed up! Yes!! There was that much wrong with this hideous, cheap excuse for a dress!!!!! I immediately e-mailed the company and have continued e-mailing them for two weeks!!! They offered me 20 dollars!!!! They sent me the completely wrong product it was damaged as well (oh and the zipper was broken) and they will do nothing to write their wrong!!! I believe this company is a scam!!! I tried to leave bad reviews on their website but they never show up on there! Terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible!!!! Just don’t do it!!!!!! Trust me, RUN!!!!!!

To start, I truly believe that the reviews on dorriswedding.com are fabricated (every review on their site is either 4 or 5 stars and raving about the quality and customer service). If THAT many customers have been completely satisfied with the product they received in comparison to the product that they thought they had purchased, I need to meet these fascinating people and film a documentary about their lives. I don't know if they've just dialed their expectations to the "extremely low" setting, or if they need to visit the optometrist... or maybe they just have a secret virtue that 99% of the rest of the world is lacking. But what is pictured on dorriswedding.com and what is actually delivered from this company are COMPLETELY different products.

Based on personal experience (and as others have stated), there is no way that Dorris Wedding is using their own photographs on their website. You're not gonna get what you see there.

I ordered the "Strapless Backless Organza Dress With Appliques (704006)." The dress that is pictured (and that I ordered) has a very sheer, nude fabric at the top of the dress that holds the appliques and back of the dress in place. It is SO sheer that it appears invisible - if you look closely, you can see the very thin material with a wide opening along the model's collarbone. The sheer, nude material is also along the back of the dress and clings tightly to the model's body. Since the material is so fitted, it would be safe to assume there's an intrinsic flexibility that allows it to stretch to fit. The dress is nearly seamless and, by the photos, has implied boning to give the corset its structure and contour. The outer lace is flush with all layers, and there is no seam at the knee as the dress gradually slims and returns out into the skirt and the train. All layers are cohesive at the hem, and the under layers are not visible. The dress pictured is made of beautifully fine fabric, and its composition has a continuous, uninterrupted flow.

The dress I received looks NOTHING like the dress pictured. The middle lace is off center. It has very wide, visible seams at every line, both front and back. It has a thick, rigid web of white mesh that is double-layered and sewn into a hem at the small collar opening, and also at the bunchy, opaque sleeves, and white mesh down the ENTIRE back (none of these things are supposed to exist). It has no boning whatsoever and no corset structure or support. It has a very obvious stitching at the knee-level (that interrupts any possible flow) to give it the mermaid-type taper. The dress was also bunched at the seams across the entire front, and even when visiting a professional to ask about possible alterations, I was told that the fabric was too low-quality to be taken in so that it would fit my figure. There wouldn't be a way to eliminate the wrinkles in the cheap fabric. The layers are not flush, and the outer layer made of heavy white mesh with sewn-on lace appliques is straight out of a nightmare where in the end you end up naked at the alter and your fiancé bails and you forgot to hire a caterer and you just can't find an available toilet to save your life.

My advice: YOU WILL NOT GET THE WEDDING DRESS THAT YOU SEE PICTURED. Don't buy here. I did read their return policy and at first thought it would have been somewhat reasonable, HAD I RECEIVED WHAT I ORDERED, but I did not. I was also, like everyone else trying to make a return, advised to resell the dress on Craig's List (no thanks, no one wants this!), as I would be charged return shipping ($35 - $65) plus original shipping, and also a 20% restocking fee.

I opened a case through PayPal due to the gross misrepresentation of the product. Come to find out (among other fine print) you have to use a different courier than they used for delivery (DHL) when you are sending the dress back... one that most likely will not clear customs... which means your package will be "abandoned", even with tracking. With their scammy return policy, I'm extremely concerned (based on others' reviews) that if I do send it back, it will never actually make it there. In which case, neither PayPal nor Dorris Wedding will be refunding my money.

I requested a return shipping label from the company and asked that my concerns about sending it back be documented. But I'm sure they already have several ways around it all. I have a feeling that I'm probably going to sweat a lot and then end up taking a loss in the end. I wish I wouldn't have taken the risk.

We wanted to return a dress which we believe wasn't what we had ordered only to be told by the company that we were better off re-selling this brand new dress on craiglist or donating it. The reason is that it will cost so much to return the dress that you will loose the majority of your money.

The dress we received was not that the colour which we ordered, so we couldnt even look at making minor adjustments. The Bride did not want a white bridal dress and this is what she got, was meant to be Ivory. The material was not as soft and flowing as seen on the picture too.

Only buy from this company if you are happy to resell a dress if your order is not correct. Is it worth the risk??
