Had an issue with a solar cover and was replaced within a few days! Excellent customer service.

I ordered a solar cover,some chemicals, ph strips, and some other misc items. The main thing was the solar cover.
The first thing you see when you open Doheneys website is ,"Next Day Delivery". Then your city and under that it says "free shipping for orders over $50". The reason I ordered from them was the next day delivery. Nothing came the next day. Or the day after. So I went on the website to find out when I should expect my order. The answer to my question was always directions on how to track my order. Well that wasn't working for me so I just wanted them to give me a date. I had to write an email to them to get that info...the answer came the next day! Nobody online could simply give me an approximate date. The order came about 5 days after i.ordered it. The products are satisfactory.
But I was very disappointed that i didn't receive it the next day like it States on their website.

I have been purchasing pool supplies and equipment from Doheny" for 20 years. I recently ordered some products from them. I placed an order for a pool filter basket that appeared in their catalog among other items. They sent me the wrong size basket. I understand it was the wrong basket i ordered but that was the only one that appeared in their catalog. Looking at the picture its hard to tell what size the basket is. I spoked with a Doheny customer service rep. who claimed the item came from a third party provider and can't be returned. He also mentioned returned items must be over $40.00 which mine was not. If I knew they were using 3rd. party providers i would not have purchased from them. I always believed all products they sold came from Doheny. Shame on Doheny for not disclosing this to there customers. They changed their return policy so I am changing mine by not buying from them. Good job Doheny you just lost a faithful customer.

I ordered a paint for a pool slide.
Transaction was easy with free shipping and the delivery was fast.

Product was purchased at a decent discount. Ease of ordering and shipping was within 3 days. Product was delivered in great condition. Doheny always has fast delivery. My go to when I need pool supplies.

Website was easy to navigate. Pricing is fair and products are high quality. I will order again.

Incorrect spa filter cartridge Pleatco PFF25P4-EC company guaranteed will replace a Filbur FC‑2399. Not an OEM replacement as promised. Does not have an end cap. It is not compatible and customer service tells me a $25 charge fee for restocking or shipping, depending on who you speak with! Not acceptable.

I ordered a skimmer set on May 14 th never showed up called customer service on June 16th and was told Fed Ex never picked it up and CS rep reordered it on June 16 th and was told it would be 2 to 3 business days. Called today June 24th and was told the exact same thing. Fed X left it on the loading dock. First customer service is outsourced took forever asking for a supervisor Supervisor gets on tells me the same exact thing. I asked once they leave it does anyone pick it up? Does it just sit there for weeks. Answer is not acceptable. Why doesn’t someone call let you know reorder it track it. Will never spend another dime with this company

We had a pool party scheduled in a week. Went to put our solar cover on so it would be warm enough to swim the following week. We were less than happy when we found several holes and a dirty chipmunk nest inside. Apparently some rodents found their way into our garage and used our solar cover as a winter home. We searched our usual websites to try and get a new solar cover asap. None could deliver until the day of the party. Never used Doheny’s before but they said they could get a new cover to us within 3 days so we crossed our fingers and ordered it.

It arrived on time. It was well packaged and in perfect condition.

We were very pleased with how prompt the delivery was and the quality of the item we received.

I liked the fast shipping! Seems to have everything in stock when I order. Great company

I have been buying from Doheny

The company is pretending to stand by their policy that states once an order reaches fulfillment, It cannot be cancelled! Everyone please know that I cancelled the order HOURS before it was processed and fulfilled. Doheney pools ignored my immediate need to cancel, and throughout the following day, they processed and fulfilled my order AFTER CANCELLATION. They will not refund me and will not allow me to refuse the shipment. They are as shady as all Hell!

Shipment was quick and it was easy to order. Customer service is outsourced which can be frustrating but we were eventually able to get questions answered. The ladder … well I would not buy again. It floats and the war the bottom is designed could easily damage the liner . We had to strap the entire ladder to get it to relatively sit still.

Stay far away from Doheny’s. They do not care about customer satisfaction at all. We have purchased numerous pool supplies over the years through them, but when we needed to replace our filter, we should have gone elsewhere. Our filter has never worked it vibrate so loud that we can’t run it because the neighbors would complain. We have been on the phone with them for over a year about this and they do not want to do anything about it. They’re only solution is for us to send it in and for them to send us a new one so we would be without a filter for two weeks and we can’t do that in June or our pool will be Green a filter should last longer than 12 months and they should back up their products if you’re going to make a major purchase for your pool do not make it at this company.

Wrong product ordered. Paid $63.48 total. Shipping was $9.99 and tax was $4.70 on the $48.79 product. A return FedEx label was emailed to me, I paid $2.52 for the UPS Store to print it off for me, and I sent it back to Doheny's. All I was refunded was $25.15 plus $1.00 ? ? I'm very disappointed, I will never buy anything from this company again. They said the Return FedEx label costed them $25.00 That is a LIE

I bought a 21 foot pool from Doheney. In one year’s time the screws around the skimmer which are supposed to be stainless steel rusted. Stainless steel doesn’t rust. I called to complain about it and they told me to go to a hardware store by new screws which amounted to about $50. They advertise 100% customer satisfaction.

I ordered an SR Smith TurboTwister pool slide through Donehy's Pool Supply for approximately $6,000 and only received HALF of the product.

The shipment arrived missing the main slide section, making the product completely unusable. The packaging itself was labeled “Box 2 of 2,” clearly indicating multiple pieces were required, yet only one portion was delivered.

Trying to get assistance from customer service was a nightmare. I spent over 25 minutes on hold before finally reaching someone, only to be told they “have no clue where the rest of the slide is.” That is not an acceptable response for a purchase of this size and cost.

At this point, I have thousands of dollars tied up in a partial shipment sitting in my backyard with no answers, no accountability, and no urgency from the company to resolve the issue.

Mistakes happen in shipping, but how a company responds is what matters. Unfortunately, Donehy’s customer service has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional throughout this process.

If you are considering making a large purchase through this company, be aware that if something goes wrong, you may be left chasing answers on your own.
