Dk oldies is a great idea and has an even better customer service. Keep in mind I live in the EU hence there is quite the distance and the time difference. Nevertheless the customer service team has always answered to all of my inquiries and supported me throughout the whole purchase process.

After hearing from friends that I might've gotten slightly scammed by purchasing from DKOldies because of the higher prices, I was like whatever since it's "refurbished". They just started laughing and told me to open up the console when I had the chance to: result more dust and grime than I've ever had in any of my (bought new) homeconsoles from years back.

This is a joke of a refurbishment store, it's more of a scalping operation in my humble opinion.

On the plus side my console was and is still functional at least.

Had an after the sale issue with a vintage gameboy that the DK Oldies team went above and beyond to resolve. Screen developed a line…an email with pics to company quickly had a replacement on its way to us in the mail with a return label. I really appreciate the speed in which the solved the issue.

The Nintendo Switch Lite I bought only works for about 10-15 minutes before the screen turns orange and becomes unresponsive! I was dumb to even buy it when I could've purchased a new one for only $10.00 more here at my local GameStop! I'm definitely not ordering anything from Dkoldies again!

definitely a scam. Don't buy from this place. They mark up old retro games and systems to make money. They are a scam. DO NOT BUY! They are one of the reasons retro gaming cost so much. THEY ARE A SCAM! Stop letting companies mark up old tech. They are bums trying to take advantage of us gamers. DO NOT SELL AND DO NOT BUY!! watch reviews to see what i mean. The retro game market has been destroyed by these companies buying and up selling products for nostalgia. They know we want certain consoles and games and they profit way more than you expect.IT IS A SCAM!!!

I ordered a Nintendo DSi from this company in mid January of 2023 I was surprised to see that it came to my door one day earlier than anticipated so that was awesome. However what was not awesome was the fact that my unit did not work at all how could something possibly slip through quality control like this. And of course they have a tamper seal sticker that you cannot get through because it will ruin the the so-called "warranty"so I can't even take it apart to take pictures of what potentially is wrong with the system I contacted their support email and I have not received a single response back in the last 4 days. Absolutely horrible customer service and such a scam. I paid more than anticipated for this device because I was more than sure that they would do their jobs and due diligence to get me this device in a working condition. What even puts more salt in my wound is the fact that I went to my local game store and I bought the same console for 15 bucks I was so disappointed I went out just to look for it. Keep in mind it didn't have a pen but it sure damn worked! NEVER BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I ABSOLUTELY RESENT MY PURCHASE. I WOULD ADVISE YOU DO THE SAME!

Great company to work with. Sold them Nintendo games for a fair price. Plan on going back to buy soon.

What would have been a fun weekend reliving some retro gaming was ruined when i went to play my PS1 that i ordered which seemed to be in overall really good condition along with the games i got with it. The console was buzzing really loud and would not read any disc i placed in it i could only see the consoles main screen that allowed you to select between Memory Card and CD Player which meant the eye couldnt even read the discs. I feel extremely ripped off that no quality controlled ever occured before the console was sent out. Hope they have a really good solution to this.

UPDATE: Have received email this a.m a replacement will be shipped in 3 bus. days. 2/4/23

Well, I ordered an n64 pack from them some time ago, delivery was on time and everything was secured very well. The condition of the controller was good (had no deep scratches or worn out stick), however it was full of dead skin? It was clean on the outside but on the inside it was very dirty. The console itself was in good condition again, no deep scratches or missing parts. It still had its original thermal pads tho wich could have caused problems in the long run. The psu was a disaster it had a stripped wich took me very long to remove, after opening it up I noticed a leaking capacitor inside of it (it had dried electrolyte on top of the vent).

Overall awful service, sorry. Cleaning a controller properly doesn't even take 5 minutes, and replacing thermal pads and capacitors isn't difficult or expensive, even if it was, I paid a premium price so I was expecting a well serviced console.

Personally I wouldn't buy from DKoldies again, I would recommend buying from a reputable ebay seller.

HORRIBLE place to buy from! I bought a stupid overpriced console, and it came so dirty! One of my games didn’t work and their customer support didn’t do anything just tell me I could get some store credit. But the worst part is the off brand controllers, I PAID SO MUCH FOR AN OFF BRAND CONTROLLER! Don’t buy from this place, they make excuses saying that their a family own place to get out of any problems.

My husband bought me the NES Mario bros bundle and Mario 1 worked great but Mario 2&3 both do not seeing I was really looking to play 3 I was so upset Xmas when I hurred to set it up and play my fav and to no surprise it didn't work was so upset hubby thought I was upset about the system but really was that I have only 3 games and can only play #1 only😫 he did double check and it said would have been tested b4 sent out

Recently ordered and I was in nostalgia heaven. Their website was very easy to navigate, making ordering easier. Everything came as described, and faster than expected. I did have a small issue with an accessory, but they were quick to fix it. Their customer service was very friendly and really made my experience that much better. I will definitely be ordering again.

I ordered mortal kombat 2 for my friend and it came in 2 days and was in great condition. It made my friend so happy I was kind of upset because my order didn't get filmed. But I understand. The prices are great and I am looking forward to getting stuff for myself! love DKoldies! Retro on!!

ordered a ps2 slim for about 230 it came in terrible condition was super dirty i thought these consoles were cleaned. misleading youtube videos and tiktok’s they don’t open every console to make sure it’s in good shape not to mention the 3rd party controller for the premium taxing price of 230.they are lucky their social medias went viral or else they wouldn’t have as many sales.
