When attempting to return wrong items, response was slow and quite obvious that if I did sent back brand new unused items I'd get the " we can't resell these due to a small pencil mark on the box"
I'll not be using them again.

I ordered a stove on 2 Feb. On 4 Feb I unfortunately had to cancel my order. As the stove had already been dispatched to their local depot they were going to charge me £140, even though I never received the stove and their cancellation policy does not cater for this scenario. They then said they would reduce the fee to £70. I don’t agree this right but regardless I am still waiting for a refund which they say is pending as they are waiting to receive the order back from the depot. So, it takes 2 days for it to get shipped out but more than 20 days for it to be returned. I am fuming. I know someone who had to cancel an order on another online stove company and they got their refund straight away, no questions asked. I wish I had gone to them!!

Firstly Direct Stoves had exactly what we wanted and at a very good price. Secondly their delivery was prompt and exactly as it should be and finally they followed up with an after sales call to see that everything was ok.

Direct Stoves were great - very helpful and efficient. Let down by their suppliers but they did everything to help. And their couriers were also amazing and very helpful.

All the service and delivery was excellent cant fault you. the stove is very well made and looks great, however i wish it had higher legs so you can clean under the stove, also would like ash pan to be open at front end for ash to slide out and finally would be better if the ash pan when full was not touching the grate fire bars , i should have checked before purchasing , but very happy with stove none the less

Ordering was quick and easy. Delivery was in a timely manner. There was an issue with the purchase, but this was dealt with efficiently by Direct Stoves, and it was all sorted satisfactorily.

Really clear and helpful service from Mike. He told us about the delay on order and gave us time to think about proceeding. The stove came as stated and is fantastic (Arada Hamlet widescreen 5). He gave us a load of good advice about bioethanol too. Very happy.

I can heartily recommend Direct Stoves. Great price and excellent customer service. I felt I was dealing with a company who cared. Ordered the stove mid December and had my blazing fire in time for Christmas, not bad considering I live in the Inner Hebrides.

Bought a Charnwood Island stove. Product as expected and dealing with Direct Stoves to arrange delivery was easy. Delivery on the day wasn’t so good. Delivery driver was supposed to call 1 hour before which they didn’t. Delivery driver turned up and before I could get out of the door had already drove off. When I eventually got to speak to the driver I realised his English was poor and difficult to communicate. When he did return he wouldn’t take advice to reverse into the driveway up to the garage. He ended up leaving the stove in the middle of the driveway as the pallet truck wouldn’t move on the gravel driveway. All in all Direct Stoves good to deal with but choice of courier could be better.

Just purchased a multi fuel stove - was a slight delay in delivery but the company kept me updated and informed. Excellent service delivered just as planned and delivery driver also excellent.
