This company cost me 250 euro due to their faulty product
I purchased a Gas hob on 31 March, it was installed on the 13 April 2026. Within two days I noted an increasing smell of gas in my kitchen. Had the installer back out, a third party company, who came back that day and checked it, it was confirmed as a gas leak within the new hob. I contacted DID to request support by phone and it just went downhill from there. Emails back and forth for a month where they were waiting to hear back from the manufacturer, no clear info on what the manufacturer needed, I had to ask if they wanted the report from the installer to confirm the leak was isolated to the unit etc. eventually they agreed to send a replacement. delivered to me the 18th May and Installed by same third party on the 20th May. I asked twice by email to the same support manager that organised the replacement that DID cover the cost of the second install. The first time my question was ignored and the second time I was told installs were not a service they provided so they would not refund me. I have since replied that this was not acceptable as this issue was caused by their faulty product but my email has sat unaddressed for a week now. I will be 250 euro out of pocket over this. I don't recommend this company and I will not be purchasing from them again.

Very good experience
Very good experience. I was looking for specific hob, I rang ahead and I was told they have the one I wanted in stock. I went to the store and it was there ready for me. Very helpful staff a lady called liada, in the Bandon store.

service from Linda in Bandon Branch was…
service from Linda in Bandon Branch was excellent as was the delivery man. Fridge/freezer was purchased on the 9th July with delivery promised on on following Wednesday 15th. Received communication from Bandon on 14th that delivery would not now be until Friday 17. i telephoned on Friday morning to get approx time of delivery to be told that delivery would not be until Monday 20th between 9 and 12. delivery eventually was at 12.45. this was not very satisfactory service. Ordered an oven to be delivered
Ordered an oven and asked for delivery and installation .I buy my oven on 15/07.The man I was talking to was very good at this job and told me yes it will be delivered on Monday 20th. I asked him again and wrote it on the Ordered receipt .Delivery on Monday 20th .I had to take a day off work to be there as my mother is older. The van never came and at 4.45pm I rang the shop to find out .To be told all the delivery was changed to Wednesday. No call to say that it had been changed .Shop lad had nothing to say .I will tell my friends not to buy from you again .

I bought a toaster in your Lucan store a couple of weeks ago. The Deputy Manager was very helpful, he opened the box to check if it was the correct product. I would recommend them and will be going back for any other appliances.
