After a bit of a bumpy start the team at Cooper Ipswich did go above and beyond to put things right.

I had my first service due at Cooper bmw Norwich and the entire process was straight forward and quick. I had a call a couple days before my service just to outline the process in place due to covid and soon arriving I felt that they have made a great effort in maintaining social distancing. I was more amazed at the quality of the service, I got a video sent to me explaining the work carried out and the details of my tires and brakes and as someone who enjoys detailing cars I was gonna smacked at the quality of the complimentary clean they performed (although not as good as a true detail :) ) . I usually service my own car but due to this one being leased the service was included , I must say that when I purchase another car if it’s a bmw I will likely get these guys to do it.

Dreadful, I'm afraid.
My polite emails are never even acknowledged - customer service team obviously find customers a distraction; the group MD hasn't deigned to reply to any of my emails.

The after sales service is non existent.
Never are you put through to who you need to talk to, never do they call you back.
Last car I buy from this company.
It’s not like I have just purchased a second hand Lada .

Arrived at bmw reading with the intention of spending £30k on a 3 or 5 series. The young sales guy couldn’t have been less interested to deal with me if he tried! After a short conversation on prices, was told it would be better to buy a car at another dealership if I could get a better deal!! No customer service at all from start to finish!! Maybe because I was dressed in jeans and a T-shirt he didn’t think I could afford a new car!! Oh dear young man, you’ve just missed out on a lot of commission!! Spend your money elsewhere is my advice.

Just paid £339 for a service and was initially impressed with proceedures put into place.Was called to say car was ready to collect.On arrival I was told it hadn't had the clean and vacuum done that was part of it's service but could wait for 20minutes.As everything was done to avoid waiting around why not call when the car was FULLY ready.Cheesed off to say the least.

Took my bmw x5 for a recall it was fixed then they did a health check got the report back and it said needs 2 ball joint replacing so I took my car to a different garage to get a mot and told them bmw said my ball joints need replacing they put it through the mot and there was nothing wrong with them how many people are getting ripped off its d

I phoned them them they told me someone will telephone me never got any reply don't take your car to coopers you will be ripped off

Tried to phone Chelmsford branch to discuss a problem with my car. The answerphone kept telling me how busy they were and then cut me off. Gave up after an hour.
This is not the way to treat customers.

I took my M4 CP to Coopers Chelmsford for a simple 2 year oil change, car has done 6700 miles. When I picked the car up and drove off I had a warning notification for low tyre pressures, checking the cars computer all 4 tyres were at 25psi! My tyres are always at 32/33 psi as they should be. How this has happened is beyond me! Why would the technician, Warren deflate my tyres? Coopers were happy to hand me back my 450 bhp car with a tyre pressure warning on the dash. Also when i got home I find that all my personal settings have been reset to factory! In essence I will never return to Coopers for any work or future purchase. I'm waiting for a manager to call me to explain why my car was handed back to me in a condition where a warning for all 4 tyre pressures were well below safe levels.

My car went into BMW cooper croydon on the 1st June with a screen issue (warranty on vehicle covered this) they replaced the screen and module and had my car for 2 weeks- fine. I then took my car away and my rear view camera didn't work. Took it back they had to investigate. Its now October and my car still isn't sorted!!!!! Disgusting service. NEVER BY A CAR FROM THEM!

Great service Coopers BMW York came to my rescue again, they said bring the car in the next day and we will take a look, which I did, they had to order the parts over night and gave the the car back the next day.
This is after Stratstone BMW Leeds blew me off again saying they could not look at my car for over 2 weeks when I had a problem with the drive train & an oil leak.

I had a good experience at the croydon branch. Professional staff and a fantastic showroom

Terrible customer services at coopers croydon service desk yesterday, the young lady was very put out having to book my service and MOT and quite aggressively told me I can do this over the phone. She also had great pressure in advising me they couldn’t do it till November as I needed a hire care and none were available (my car is a disability car) she also said your have to drove around for a few weeks with no MOT. Unpleasant experience to say the least wish I never walked through the door.
I did call later to complain to the manager but I’m still waiting for him to call me back.

Terrible service. I've had an intermittent issue with my car for months now and it's been into my local Cooper dealership at Teesside, but they could not find the fault. I decided to rebook it in as it's really starting to annoy me. I can appreciate it is difficult to fault find but my main concern is the waiting time, with the first available appointment not until almost 3 weeks!
Then they could not provide an appointment with a courtesy car until another 4 weeks later......so 7 weeks!. I'll find somewhere else....very very poor!

Avoid BMW Chelmsford, walked in today expecting to spend £44k on a new car that had been previously quoted.
Waited for ever and still no salesperson wanted to help.
Front desk was shocking, I’m sure they had never been to school and learned how to communicate?
Walked out and visited another dealership, couldn’t believe how different, seems like Chelmsford don’t value their customers, their loss and certainly won’t recommend.
My colleague warned me their service was bad but didn’t ever think they could be this bad, seriously poor management!

sold me a car which should have been scrapped.. please avoid if you want to save your hard earned money...

Shocking costumer service.....
I have 330e hybrid and few months ago I got drivetrain malfunction and battery not being charged warning messages.
I changed the battery for a non original one, but the problem was not solved.
While all BMW were closed during Covid19 I took the car to an independent BMW specialist and after few days diagnostics he said the the KLE module has failed and I will need to wait for BMW to reopen and get it fixed.
So... I booked in for a repair on 11.06 with a loan vehicle.
Dropped the car on 11.06 and after few hours I got a call from them saying that the car is “fixed”. (They charged the high voltage battery and the 12v battery.
I passionately explained to the guy on the phone that I have already done that but the car was still not drivable and asked him to investigate further he called me on 15.06 that they have been testing the car and there is no sign of warning messages.
Ok .... I thought may be I am wrong...
Today 16.06 I went to BMW to collect my car and ..... YES the warning messages pop out straight away.... then I went back to the guy who gave me the keys to ask him what’s going on (my be that is supposed to be a very funny joke). And he started explaining straight away (I am sure he knew that the car is not fixed) that the NON original battery is causing the problem. Hm.... ok so if that is the problem why you didn’t tell me that it needs to be changed?!?!? Also I said ok if you put a original battery and I pay for it and then I got the same warning messages are you going to give me my money back for the original battery? (If that has not been the problem) .... and he answered NO....
Basically I have read lots of forums and it seems that the problem is with the KLE module which is a common problem with that model.....

BMW can you please tell me why are you calling me saying that my car is fixed and wasting my time.

They called me after few weeks and said it will cost around £4500 to rapair and there will be no good will from BMW as the car has not been serviced by them (which is not true, I have a 3 years service pack).

Went to Cooper Croydon after lockdown release some weeks back to notice the information pedestals next to their new cars (price, performance, mpg etc) was missing in about 90% of the cars. I questioned why and their weak answer was just getting back from lockdown. Visited today 7/7/20 and about 80% of this info still missing with same pathetic excuse .... this is exceptionally bad marketing as clients go into the showroom for information so why is this critical information still missing. Suggest that the company has no customer respect and not really interested in selling cars. Hopefully the head of business David Jones reads this and gets his act together and shows a modecombe of respect to his clients as no boubt he has not noticed this minor selling detail. Have been to many other showrooms recently and they obviously present this important info. As such will not be buying my new M3/G80 via Coopers and they have missed out on the sale/after care amounting to many thousands of pounds.

I had a very good experience at Coopers BMW Service department, Tunbridge Wells on Monday 22nd June 2020. The checkin to the collects was perfect. I was provided with a new GS850, which was fun to ride. My HP2 Sport had a full service and rides great. Thank you Kevin Jinks, very professional. Steve Cronan
