I made a purchase at the Greenhills store (East Maitland, NSW). I paid full price for a beautiful dress. The next evening, I was looking at their website & found that my dress was now 1/2 price. I contacted customer service via the chat box in the bottom right corner & connected with Noraine who was bloody fantastic! Her response was prompt & really positive. Noraine organised an e-gift card for the price difference, which was emailed to me the next day. I was very pleasantly surprised by this response & I’ve been telling everyone I know about how fantastic they have been.

Bardzo słaba jakość rzeczy. Rozmiarówka ma niewiele wspólnego z rzeczywistością. Materiał najniższej jakości. Zwrot środków uzyskałam po upływie prawie miesiąca od daty dostarczenia zwrotu do sklepu. Telefonu nie odbierają. Nie polecam

I walked in the Watergardens store in a panic needing a dress for my wedding vows renewal in 4 days time! I'd ordered dresses online which I'd returned, I'd shopped wedding stores locally but find nothing. I walked in to the store and said to the sales assistant please help me. She was onto it straight away. Suggested a dress I never would have chosen for myself but she said try it you might be surprised and I was. I put it on and realised it was the one. After months of searching I found it. Everyone on the day said it looked like it was made for me and its all thanks to Naomi at Watergardens store. Thank you thank you thank you! So so happy

What on gods green earth is going on in the actual stores? If I tell you I'm "just looking" that means I want to be left alone. I ended up leaving. It's the second time I've tried to shop in store and I remember why I don't. No one likes a pushy sales assistant and I don't want to answer questions of a personal nature with a complete stranger.

Dziewczyny nie zamawiajcie absolutnie nic z tego sklepu to jakaś mafia

Sklep to jakaś katastrofa. Nie ma z nimi żadnego kontaktu. Jakość towaru słaba. Nie otrzymałam zwrotu pieniędzy za odesłany towar już ponad 3 tygodnie. Nie polecam!!!!

Zamówiłam komplet 10.03.2026. Czytalam w regulaminie ze czas wysyłki to 10 dni. Dziś jest juz 23.03 a towar nadal nie został wysłany. Napisałam maila z prośbą o zwrot srodkow. Czuje ze beda z tym problemy. Nigdy więcej już nie bede próbowała robić zakupow w tym sklepie, bardzo sie zrazilam.

My wife and i went in for individual bra sizing and had the best experience, the women at the Elizabeth SA store were very welcoming and eager to please even helped me with adjusting.

Prices aren't cheap but what is these days, they even gave us a discount

I purchased a few dresses from City chic and noticed that the material listed on their website didn't match
the material dress that I actually received.
I immediately messaged City Chic to let them know of
this error.
I paid using PayPal and let PayPal know of items received not as described and lodged a dispute/claim.
Im disapointed.
I m happy to return items to get a chargeback.

City Chic has its positives and its negatives — and I’ve experienced both.

The negatives first.
1. Customer service. It’s wildly inconsistent. Every store visit seems to be a lucky dip — one lovely staff member and one crabby pain in the bum. If there’s only one person on, you just hope it’s the good one. Phone service is the same — fine until returns or policy come into play, then they can turn dismissive and sometimes rude. That’s not a good look. Better vetting and proper staff training would go a long way.
2. Return/refund/exchange policy. It’s too tight and, honestly, unfair. A strict four-week window with zero flexibility — in real life, that’s not always workable. The rules around tags are over the top (surely a tag can be replaced), and being told to resell items on a Facebook group is not a solution.
3. Buying online but returning in store. This one really gets me. I live in the country — over an hour away on a 110km highway to the nearest store. If you can post it to me, I should be able to post it back. It’s that simple.
4. Sizing. It can be all over the place, even within the same range. Which means you rely heavily on the return policy… and around we go.
5. Sleeveless overload. Not just a City Chic issue, but for a brand that caters to larger bodies, you’d think there’d be more awareness here. Many of us don’t want everything sleeveless. Yet the range often feels 80% that way. The industry as a whole needs to do better.
6. Pricing. Full price can feel steep for what you’re getting, especially given the inconsistencies in sizing and the strict return policy. The real value is in the sales — that’s when City Chic truly shines. But at full retail, it can be hard to justify the spend.

Now the positives — because there are definitely some.
1. Quality. When you get the right size at the right price, it’s a fantastic buy. The sizing (when correct) feels like a true Aussie fit, just designed with the extra room we actually need. I’ve gone from a size 24 to a 10 and can still shop there — that inclusivity is something to be proud of.
2. The good staff. When you find a great one, they’re exceptional. They go above and beyond every time. If I were the CEO, I’d be rewarding those staff properly — they’re the ones holding the brand together.
3. Fashion forward. This is where City Chic shines. Larger bodies deserve modern, stylish clothing — not daggy, outdated options. City Chic understands that big girls are just as beautiful and just as fashion-conscious as anyone else. And for that, credit where it’s due.

At the end of the day, I shop there because when it’s good, it’s really good. Tighten up the policies, lift the service standards, and you’d have something truly exceptional.

Proponuję zgłaszać sklep do UOKiK - wtedy może zaczną przestrzegać prawa klientka jak zostaną za brak ich przestrzegania ukarani. 4.01 zamowilam spodnie, otrzymałam 19.01, okazało się że nogawka 10 cm krótsza, odesłałam, zostałam zapewniona,ze będzie wymiana na prawidłowe i otrzymam koszt odsyłki. Odesłałam, po 14 dniach upomniałam się o rozpatrzenie zwrotu i dopiero zaczęli szukać paczki. Po 2 dniach telefon że aktualnie nie mają dłuższych wysla za kilka dni. Kolejnego dnia telefon że wszystkie spodnie są krótsze a na stronie jest taki wymiar podany jak długość spodni i dla rozmiaru M/L w ogóle nie ma wymiarów- na szczęście miałam screena- wymiary oczywiście zmieniono i usunięto abym wyszła na idio...na szczęście przeczuwalam to i zabezpieczyłam się screenem. Oddali mi za spodnie. Za wysyłkę spodni do mnie a wg prawa muszą przy każdym zwrocie oddawać również koszt najtańszej formy wysyłki do wyboru u nich a w przypadku reklamacji również koszt odsyłki poniesiony przeze mnie - do paczki dołączyłam ich potwierdzenie kosztu. Kontakt ze sklepem się urwał. Sprawę zgłosiłam do UOKiK i innym też to radzę!

A podejście do klienta fatalne... brak odpowiedzi na email, nie da się dodzwonić. Naprawdę masakra.

Nie polecam zakupów w City Chic.
Zwrot towaru dotarł do sprzedawcy 19 stycznia, a mimo upływu ustawowego terminu nie otrzymałam zwrotu . Sprawa wymagała ponagleń.
Paragon/faktura nie został wydany przy zakupie – dokument otrzymałam dopiero po interwencji.
Obsługa i podejście do klienta bardzo rozczarowujące. Radzę zachować ostrożność przed zakupem.

Zwróciłam ciuch, który był za mały. Towar został przyjęty, zwrot rzekomo przekazany do działu księgowości. Środki od miesiąca do mnie nie dotarły. Zwykli oszuści i złodzieje!! Zgłaszam sprawę do UOKiK

Brak zwrotu za odesłany towar. Minął już miesiąc.

Jakość produktu bardzo niska, ale ceny są nie duże więc to rozumiem.... ALE na zwrot pieniędzy czekam już ponad miesiąc, dlatego nie polecam tego sklepu.

Jak wyżej również nie dostałam pieniedzy za zwrócony towar (nie mała kwota kilka stówek) Sprawa zgłoszona do PayPo oraz na Policję
