ATUK planned and delivered a great week in wales for my family which included an active but wheelchair bound member. We asked them to find at least one activity each day that we could all participate in and to find accessible accommodation. They did a great job on both counts.
We had to make some late and significant changes to our plans, which meant that a lot of their earlier work was sadly wasted, but they were brilliant in accepting that and coming with alternative plans for us.
During our week we had cause to contact them for help on a couple of occasions and they were really responsive and helpful.
Their App, which contains details of your itinerary; maps and a messaging facility is very good.
A really good company that I will use again.

...They got in touch as of Saturday. It was not Adventure tour thst was the issue but Responsible Travel who apparently is the "middle man" and completely unnecessary to be part of this process. Thank you Adventure Yravel for getting back to me!!!! I am trying to travel to Svotland, Responsible Travel said thy are partners with Adventure tour UK and that they will email me promptly. I emailed them asking a question and thier reply was that A. T UK should have contacted me. They did not. Second email, I told them ATUK still had not emailed RT emailed saying they taged ATUK and they will be in touch. I still have not heard from them. Great price but when its too good to be true, it probably isn't. Just sayon.

I would highly recommend a trip with Adventure Tours UK. It is a small company run by people that are truly passionate about offering a unique and personal experience and that stay true to their sustainability ethos.

I highly recommend the mindfulness walking weekend. The location was great, with stunning scenery all around and a wonderful full days hiking. The mindfulness guide was great too - I’m a regular meditator and really appreciated how she guided the experiences. I could see others around me relaxing more and more into the experience. The company are very inspiring, very ethical and really walk their talk. Claire was great at bringing the group together and what a lovely group we had. All in all the weekend was a tonic and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

My wife and I joined Adventure Tours for a weekend of trailrunning in North Wales. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after by Clare and Kat, the accomodation was spacious, peaceful and comfortable, and the food was excellent and locally sourced throughout.

The running was exactly what we needed, Kat was a great coach, full of useful tips on everything from the correct way to tackle a hill to how to plan out training for a major run.

As beginner trail runners this weekend has put us into great shape for our first planned expedition, a four day effort to cover Hadrian's wall.

I would highly recommend Adventure Tours. I personally had the best weekend. Claire was an excellent host in the the cosiest of cottages. Kat was our training guide who had a wealth of knowledge when it came to trail running. The location was perfect as my first time in Wales I found the local trails we were taken on to be top notch with stunning scenery. The food was excellent and I can’t really find any fault. I have quite a bit of experience in trail running and have ran over a dozen ultras yet I still gained some valuable knowledge and generally just enjoyed the break away with like minded runners.

As I planned a return to Scotland decades after my 1st visit, Claire from Adventuretoursuk.com identified local resources & problems & provided needed clarity. The website's vision & ethics statements say it all: local, responsible, wild & fun. While I can't "bag a munro" anymore, I still love the beauty of Scotland & people like Claire, working to protect & enjoy it. Thanks again, Jennifer USA

I had booked this Trail Running weekend as a birthday gift for my wife and were very much looking forward to visiting North Wales and Snowdonia. We were not disappointed, what views and landscapes!
Our group turned out to be small, with just 3 guests, which made the experience all the more personal and enjoyable.
Michael, our guide during this weekend, was amazing: skilled and knowledgeable, attentive, passionate and enthusiastic. Our runs were varied in length and difficulty and gave us memorable moments.
Our stay at the cottage was very comfortable and enjoyable, with Poppy taking care of us.
We greatly recommend this experience if you like trail running and the Wales outdoors.

Simple to book online, helpful team to answer any questions about the trip and the trip itself was a wonderful weekend break away in a lovely 16th century inn worth visiting for the food alone!
I wasn't able to walk far due to an injury but the staff at the inn and the walk organiser were really kind and accommodating to ensure I took part where I could!

Amongst the Berwyn Mountain ranges，deep in the Ceiriog valley，there is a tiny and quiet village. The West Arms, a 16th century traditional Welsh inn，sits peacefully in that village，with a back garden facing absolutely exquisite scenery. This is the start of a great mindful walk weekend holiday，organised by Adventure Tours.

A complete novice to this mindful concept，but our guide/mindful guru，Belinda，patiently took us through the four major exercises throughout our 6.5 hours of walk，among stunning hill and mountain sceneries. The walk was fairly paced，nothing strenuous，but still require a little hard work，and with the rain and the wind(which happens a lot here)，and the wet roads and grasslands，the mindful exercises put us at ease with our minds and bodies. It was an extremely enjoyable walk and at the same time very enlightening in learning something new.

The owners/hosts of the inn, Mark and Nicky were ever so friendly and helpful. Nicky has a background in big hotels and thus very focused on guest services and experiences. Mark is just busy everywhere，very often multitasking but still finds the time to walk their two gorgeous dogs，Sam and Jasper. There is another lady helping out at the inn restaurant，also very friendly and sociable，and I apologise for not getting her name.

The room we stayed in was surprisingly big，the bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of spaces to put our luggages，and the wardrobe was enough to hang our coats and clothes and stuff.

The washroom was spacious，with a powerful shower-head and also a soothing rain shower unit. There was a large number to TV channels to choose from，even better than some of the London hotels.

The food was just out of this world，and their pretty wide selection of wines certainly took me by surprise. The meats for the steak and the lamb all came from the farm next door，and this fully demonstrate the concept and purpose of farm to to table dining. The sea bass was amazing too，and the seafood apparently comes from a local fisherman who used to be a plumber in the village! What not to miss is the sticky toffee pudding. This dessert simply closes out the evening perfectly! It is not available every night，so best of luck!

The scenery and the views of the Berwyn mountains and surrounding the village and the valley just cannot be more stunning. And people around the world come here for the amazing hike and walk. Just make sure you dont go agitate the cows!

A very pet friendly hotel. Locals and visitors bring their cuties there to eat，chat and chill. Met so many adorable dogs during our two nights stay and it really goes to show how the Brits love their dogs!

Neither a difficult nor an easy location to get to. Most people in the UK tend to drive there，but for foreign visitors，if you dont like driving on narrow country roads，you have the option of taking a train to Chirk (many from Birmingham and Chester)，then take a cab to the village(which Adventure Tours booked for us). The views during the drive there is amazing too.

Definitely recommend Adventure Tours and their holidays to anyone who wishes to experience "off the beaten track" and to steer away from what the mass market offers.

Michael, our guide at Adventure Tours UK, was truly exceptional. He was attentive to our needs both as a family and individually, his enthusiasm was infectious which in turn provided a holiday like no other. We all grew individually by learning about nature, the various sports and activities, and a new lease/zest for life which Michael has to take a very large part of the credit for.
I have to give an honourable mention to Poppy who was also exceptional, however unfortunately for us, we only had 24 hours with her. Thank you Poppy.

I am very grateful that the holiday was a 50 out of 10, and can’t recommend this company, but more importantly, our tour guide Michael enough. He is a true gem and should be treasured within this industry.

If I were ever considering going into the adventure tourism industry, I would be seeking Michael out to be a shared partner in the company.

Michael (our tour guide) has honestly been the best possible guide we could have wanted. He has taught me and my sister so much during our time together. I have a massive fear of the ocean and having Michael there (a trained beach lifeguard) made me feel so safe that I even went swimming! I don’t believe I would have went in the water if we didn’t have Michael. During the week we had the freedom from Michael to make certain activities more challenging or more relaxed, the whole week he was our go to for anything and was very passionate about helping us. This made a huge impact on our experience as we didn’t fear to ask anything and felt safe. Aside’s from Michael’s qualifications that made us feel more relaxed about things, he is also just a lovely person, always wanting to learn and share his knowledge. We had many laughs and inspiring conversations that we will never forget with him. Michael taught me and my sister all about running, which is a huge part of my sisters life, so hearing tips from a professional just inspired her and me to act on these conversations when we got home. I couldn’t thank Michael enough for all he has done for our family, he truly made our trip one of the best yet, thank you Michael, our family won’t forget the inspirational impact you have made on me and my sister.

More or less everything went ahead as planned.

We are just back from a nice tour of Scotland. We had a very good trip. Travelling by train was very comfortable. The trip was very well arranged by Tiara Tours in the Netherlands and Adventure UK on the other site. The trips were all well planned and we had a good opportunity to explore all surroundings. In Edinburgh we liked to visit some good gardens. The boat tour on the River Lochy was really nice. We had a chance to see a lot and the isle with seals was very nice. The accommodation in the different hotels was also comfortable. We especially enjoyed a few long walks around Thurso, a very nice town. Also Inverness was a friendly town where we rented a bike to do our exploration of the neighbourhood. Of course we had the luck that the weather could not have been better, nice and sunny, just a little bit more chilly than in the Netherlands.

Well chosen hotels & guest houses, well organised and very relaxed. Fantastic tour, thank you!

He gave us lots of information about the various places we visited as well as snippets of local information.
6of us in our group all felt it was a wonderful way to see so much in one day and would definitely recommend using this service.

A superbly well organised weekend tour of Wales. The communications, iPhone app, accommodation, and general organisation was spot on.

I attended the Wild Wellness Retreat in Wales last July. The location, people, activities and food were amazing. However I paid an extra £210 for a single person tent. There was a hole that needed taping up with a single camp bed. They kindly changed this to a futon but the tent was freezing. I had no wood burner. It was only after looking in other guests tents I had no sea grass mats or rugs. I feel I didn’t have the same comforts that the sharing tents had.
I would engage with to team to ask if this has now changed before booking a single occupancy tent. Tbh I thought I would have been offered a shepherds hut not a huge tent to myself. After contacting the team they just said they’d pass on the feedback. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend Adventure Tours because of this.

We did the Southwest 660 by car and had a great time, much helped by Poppy at Adventures UK. Luckily we got back before the snow! We stayed in Weymouth, Torquay, St Austell, Newquay, Instow and Dunster and saw pretty much everything there was to see on the way round, we actually did 716 miles.
