We bought 4 x Adele Pocket Sprung Dining Chairs in Tan on 4 June 2026. We are very happy with all our communications with Woods, especially the lovely Anya who called us to check everything is ok. It certainly is. We’d been given estimated delivery dates and our chairs arrived at the front end which was brilliant, only about 2 days after ordering. We are delighted with our chairs, they were easy to assemble, and are so comfy, good quality and stylish. And a good price. Thank you Woods, we’ll come back to you and highly recommend you to others.

We purchased a couple of bar stools for my kitchen. Really beautifully made and set off my breakfast bar perfectly. The website was easy to move around and he sales staff were courteous and polite. Would definitely buy from them again.

This is the third order I have placed…
This is the third order I have placed with Woods furniture. I previously ordered bar stools, then dining chairs online and was delighted with both.
This time I needed a large sideboard. I found the Jupiter sideboard online, but as it was a large item, I wanted to look at it in the store before ordering.
I visited the Brewery Square store first and really enjoyed browsing. The store has a welcoming atmosphere, it is well laid out and there are plenty of items to suit a variety of budgets. The Assistant I spoke to was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, without being pushy. They didn't have the sideboard I wanted on display, so they checked the High Street branch and they had one on display.
I went to the High Street Branch and the Assistant I spoke to there was equally helpful and knowledgeable.
I placed the order on a Thursday and it was delivered the following Wednesday.
The delivery team were really efficient, quickly taking the large, heavy sideboard to the room of my choice. They were friendly and made me feel at ease which was nice.
I am delighted with the sideboard because it is well made and good value. It required minimal assembly because I just had to bolt the legs on with the allen key that was supplied.
Thank-you Woods for the wonderful customer service you have provided once again.

Ordered the Bali garden set - easy to order, delivery was prompt and well packaged. The garden set is absolutely stunning and great quality for the price. Easy clear instructions to assemble and was put together in no time at all! No blips! Very comfortable and spacious and will certainly be very enjoyed! Even got a follow up call to check we were happy with our purchase and a care guide emailed to download - great customer service! Nothing negative to say, very positive experience with a company who clearly cares about their products and customers. Would use them again in a blink! Beautiful table
The table we ordered is absolutely beautiful, even better than we were expecting. Great quality and looks fantastic. They were very quick to dispatch the table, the only reason for 4 out of 5 instead of 5 is because the delivery company weren't great. I can't fault the customer service of Woods though but potentially would be worth using a more reliable delivery company

Disappointing Quality & Customer Service
I recently ordered 8 dining chairs from Woods Furniture.
However, on delivery the chairs looked substantially different to the website image and the quality was not to the standard I expected.
I was therefore forced to return the goods in order to receive a refund. The return was at my own expense and cost in excess of £100 on top of the original delivery costs incurred.
It then took the company more than 15 days after receipt of the returned items to issue my refund. And this was only after 2 chaser phone calls ( the first of which assured me that the refund had already been processed, which was clearly not the case).
The refund was a substantial amount of money and I would still be waiting for it had I not spent time chasing the company.
Not the standard of customer service one would expect from a reputable company and a disappointing standard of product too.
So, at £200 out of pocket I won’t be shopping with them again.

We do try to ensure that our website photos are truly representative of the appearance of the products we advertise. As mentioned on the website the colours can appear a little different in your home due to the difference in lighting between your home and our studio.
In any instance where a customer decides that they do not like a purchased item once they see it in their home, we strive to make their choice to return them as easy and transparent as possible as laid out in the support section of our website.
Your refund was processed in line with our advertised timescales, unfortunately in this instance there was a system error which resulted in a slight delay between us issuing the refund and your bank accepting the payment. We are truly sorry that this occurred. As soon as this was notified to us, we resolved the issue the same day to ensure your money was with you as quickly as possible.

Outstanding product and service…
It is little wonder that Woods has been trading successfully for 151 years. Karen in the Bournemouth shop was incredibly helpful whilst choosing our table. Office phoned a week before to check our availability. Mark phoned 10 minutes before arrival to alert us to the imminent delivery. Both he and Dylan assembled the table quickly and efficiently and could not have been more helpful. What is more, the handsome table represents exceptional value. Here’s to the next 151 years !

The customer service in the shop and warehouse is spot on. All staff members were knowledgeable and friendly. My drawer sets were delivered on the day I requested and the delivery guys were tidy and efficient.

We visited the Dorchester Shop
We visited the Dorchester Shop, its a beautiful furniture shop so well laid out and there was so much choice! The assistant was so patient and helpful.
Delivery arranged, got a phone call from the warehouse to confirm delivery date. A further phone call 2 days before with a time slot and then another delivery 30 minutes before arrival.
Mark and Dylan were the most helpful men!
Would definitely recommend

Damaged Goods, Poor Delivery.
After ordering my desk, I received multiple messages and emails informing me their drivers would call an hour in advance which they failed to do. The box was badly damaged, the driver said he would make a note of this but the delivery ticket says "box damaged" it says NO. Best to avoid this company.
Update
Sent Woods the damage photos and delivery confirmation, they said they would call me back, still waiting.
Totally unacceptable.

Fabulous service from all staff at Woods but especially Eliza. She helped us decide on our sofa, not an easy task with all the choices. Very patient with us and explained every detail about the process and extra protection, stainguard, if required. Eliza kept us up to date with delivery times. We loved it so much we went back and ordered two accent chairs with Eliza. Super helpful and friendly staff. Excellent quality furniture with great care taken when delivered and put together by the team. Highly recommend. Bonus it was all in the sale.
