The wasabi knife sharpener is a great system, it's well machined and easy to learn to use. Things I would improve on the unit would be
1) add some kind of rubber gripper on the plates that hold the spine of a knife. I've had knives shift after running the stone over the edge
2) make the gnarled ends of the tightening nuts larger for easier gripping
3) slightly longer/larger stones

Ordered the knife sharpener w/diamond hones added. Received my package at around the 2 week mark which I thought was quite good since it traveled from Germany to the US. Video instructions were very helpful & made it easy to setup and use. Works great, highly recommend for larger knives.

Although it took a while longer than anticipated for the products to arrive, the person I spoke with was very quick to respond and assist me. The products arrived in time for the holidays and they are top-tier quality! Would highly recommend this product.

Poor product design. Bevels are not even when flipping knife. Not a quality product

Overall, the sharping jig worked very well, I was able to produce a uniform bevel angle along the entire length of the blade. This is extremely difficult to do using water stones and holding a knife with my hands.

The water stones provided in your kit were too soft and began breaking down after only a few steak knives were sharpened. Also, the range of stones was too limited as a minimum of 3000 is needed to polish a knife edge. I purchased a set of diamond stones that resolved this problem.

This knife is amazing. The weight is perfect and it allows you to slice through veggies like your slicing butter.

Delivery was pretty much as estimated. I've sharpened two knives that I had previously been unable to. I went for the diamond stones and would have preferred to not been sent the standard ones (with a corresponding reduction in price. I would also have expected an Allen key to have been supplied

The sharpener was delivered when they said it would.
I received what I was expecting and the product has done its job, quick and easy to use and my knives are sharp now.

These are beautiful knives. Extremely sharp, well balanced, and the finish is stunning. I am excited to put some time into using these

Knife is excellent. Beautiful and extremely sharp slicing through everything easily. Shipping was delayed and hard to track but it eventually arrived.

I purchased the old samurai bundle. The sharpener is great and the knife is an absolute work of art + amazingly sharp out the box! Would give it 5 stars but the shipping is a painfully slow process so if you’re getting it as a gift plan far in advance and if you’re buying for yourself then you’ll need to be patient.

Great product! Super sharp! Love my knife. Tracking of shipment was a little lacking. Received my knife but it still showed it being in LA.

the knife was excellent, The delivery times were not I was unaware that the knife shipped from China and would take 27 days to arrive. Not sure if I would have ordered if I had known that. However the knife did arrive and was in excellent condition

I had made an error in my shipping address. I was initially worried that my address change request would be ignored since the request was made via email. To my delight, customer service rep Amy Smith was able to fix my shipping address mistake and I received my package with no issues.

Arrived in good time especially considering the Xmas rush. Put to use straight away and can honestly say they are as described - bought my knives back up to razor sharp in no time. Thanks Wasabi - w I’llll no doubt be getting more stones from u in the future!

The Wasabi tools are fantastic. Setting up the sharpener was pretty intuitive for me, but I have an engineer's mindset. I would have liked the instruction manual to be a bit more illustrated and more detailed than it was, but that don't take away from the tools themselves; and there are good training videos online. Overall: great job. I will recommend this to family and friends.

The product is made well and works as advertised

So easy to use, setup was straightforward, I now have sharp knives for the first time ever.
