I was signing up to a parking app and their link was on it. I thought I’d authorised 0.00 payment for parking. Part of the scam is that it’s an automatic subscription after 2 days. I did get an email in my spam on the day saying 39.99 coming out soon just didn’t agree to the subscription. That emails was also bound to end up in my spam the way it’s designed so it was always going to be seen too late.

I never signed up to this company. Found two payments on my credit card.Checked Trustpilot and to my horror I am by no means alone, such a scam.
No idea how they got my info. My bank is dealing with it as fraud.

While pairing a smart watch I was asked for card details, presumably to buy apps and the like, no suggestion about vyntral.com, a couple of days later £39.99 was taken from account, no mention of subscription when asked for card details, can't do anything at moment as payment is still pending.
If asked to verify card with a £0 payment, BEWARE.
Cancelled so called subscription and hope to get refund off bank when it's physically taken

Had an issue with this scam. Purchased a meta quest vr headset from John lewis. On opening sealed box there was a qr code which we scanned as per instructions to set up headset. Asked us to give card details to proceed. Found out 2 days later that they had taken £39.99. Cancelled card and informed bank. Please be aware.

Don't know who they are but they tried to take money from my account - without my permission - managed to block it, but be aware, total scam

I was duped into signing with this company thinking I'm registering on u.co.uk!
Saw charge on my account and bank said I'd initially authorised a £0.00 charge. I confirmed that this was with u.co.uk and not this company, and they have said they'll try to dispute it.
My question remains that why are we the consumers being left to deal with this fraudulent company? From the reviews on here,it's clear that these people are scamming us? Aren't they not supposed to be prosecuted and stopped?!

something is very wrong here. i tried this week to subscribe free for world cup club football on dazn site. scanned the code and subscribed in error to vyntra - thought it connected to dazn. had to put a stop on my credit card. glad to hear others have reported this- please be careful

Shocking...whilst trying to download an app for parking from a QR code, I was lured through false pretences to join this company.
WHen I relaised my error, after receiving their confirmation email (besides being unable to park up!) I sent them an email to cancel.
They responded saying that I wouldn't be charged.
They then charged me and sent an email saying that no further charges would be issued, one minute after charging me.
I was advised to cancel my card as fraud by the fraud protection team at the bank.
Very sharp practice.

I bought a new vacuum cleaner direct from the manufacturer and inside the sealed box was a card with a QR code to activate the free 2 year warranty. I scanned it and was asked to verify my details using my bank card, though informed no payment would be taken. I assumed this was so that I could then buy bags for the vacuum cleaner. However, the website Vyntral came up, which was nothing to do with vacuum cleaners. A quick internet search showed it as receiving the worst possible reviews, so I immediately phoned my bank, who said a test payment of 1p had already been taken. Fortunately the bank cancelled my card, refunded the 1p, put a stop on Vyntral extracting any more money from my account and have replaced the card. The puzzling aspect is how a QR code from a legitimate company went to this unrelated website. Avoid at all costs!

Scam, FAKE WEB SITE-takes £39 subsciription - you cannot cancell it, had to cancell my card

Vyntral stole 39.99 from my bank account when I was just looking they trick you in to leaving youre card details and then when you try to contact them they expect you to leave new card details I had to cancel my debit card resulting in fines from companies which couldn't take payments from my card so far it has cost me over £100.00 !and it has also damaged my credit rating someone stop these theives

Tried to unsubscribe, apparently my email doesn't exist, but I can still use it to sign in, having to cancel card

SCAM, Got an APCOA parking fine though the post, scanned the QR code to contest, found at the end of the process I'd signed up for this Vyntral. Had to cancel my card to ensure no funds taken....

Signed up to use drone on phone. When I did they took £39.99 out of my account. Be very careful this is a SCAM
