Delayed complaint resolution and poor Voltas AC service experience
I had a disappointing experience with Voltas AC service. Complaint resolution was very slow, and technician visits were often delayed. I had to do repeated follow-ups with customer support, but the responses were not very helpful. I also faced issues like gas leakage, PCB problems, and inconsistent cooling performance within a short time after installation. Spare part availability and warranty claim processing also took a long time. The installation experience was not smooth either, as there were additional charges and setup-related issues. the overall after-sales service experience was poor, especially during peak summer seasons.

I bought a Voltas window AC from Voltas on 20/04/2026 and it stopped working in less than a month despite normal, careful use. I lodged an official complaint with Voltas on 19/05/2026 and since then I’ve been stonewalled. Every single day I call and email, and every time they give the same empty promises — “2 days”, “3 days”, “5 days” — but no action, no parts, no technician, and no solution. This is unacceptable.
I paid for a brand-new appliance and expected reliable customer service. Instead I’m left with a useless AC in the peak of summer and a company that refuses to take responsibility. Voltas’ after-sales service is unresponsive, disorganized, and disrespectful of customers’ time and money. If you’re considering buying from Voltas, beware — their product and support can fail within weeks and they won’t fix it.
Voltas: fix this now. Refund or replace the unit immediately, or I will escalate this through consumer forums, social media, and legal channels. Other customers deserve to know the risk.

Extremely horrible experience with Voltas service.
I purchased a Voltas AC in 2022 and the compressor is under warranty. Your own technician confirmed that the compressor was faulty and needed replacement under warranty coverage.
However, during the repair process, I was suddenly forced to pay around Rs. 3800 for gas/refilling and additional charges. The gas was already inside the AC and was removed only because the company technician had to replace the defective compressor. This is clearly not customer damage or misuse.
When I asked for clarification from customer care before making payment, instead of resolving the concern professionally, I received a threatening call from service personnel stating:
“Payment karo warna compressor latka dunga.”
This kind of threatening language and harassment from someone representing Voltas is absolutely shameful and unacceptable.
The work was left incomplete, pressure was created for payment, and no proper explanation of charges was provided in advance. Despite repeated complaints, there has been no proper resolution from Voltas management.
A company that cannot respect customers or honour warranty commitments should seriously reconsider how they handle after-sales service.
I am now escalating this matter before consumer grievance authorities and other legal forums due to harassment, deficiency in service, and unethical conduct.
Highly disappointed. Would never recommend Voltas to anyone.

Poor service after sell
I have been chasing these guys for more than a month. They occasionally call, but never actually visit my home.
Around 3 weeks ago, after continuously following up for nearly a month, they finally visited to fix my AC cooling issue. However, the same issue reappeared within just one week, and now they have become completely unresponsive.
I am attaching my communication records and payment receipt. The service experience has been extremely pathetic and frustrating. Completely fed up.
Never buy a Voltas product unless you are prepared to deal with such poor after-sales service.

Specially supervisor Imtiaz and eng pradeep. They have been fooling around since 15 days. First they said the part is missing, if will take some time. When they were reminded that not the part but whole compressor has have to be replaced. Then the suddenly relalised that, and promised to replace the compressor. Now that have also past 7 days. Now they neither pick and nor call back.

I reside in Vadodara, Gujarat. On 12/05/2026, I registered AC complaint number 26051211496. A technician, Mr. Nilesh (Mobile: 9727239118), visited my home the same day. After inspecting the unit, he stated that low fan speed was causing the cooling issue. He advised that either the PCB or the fan motor needed replacement, quoting ₹9,000 and ₹3,000 respectively. I decided to hold off on the repair. He collected ₹590 as a service charge and left.The following day, I called a local technician for a second opinion. He diagnosed the exact same low fan speed but simply replaced the capacitor. The fan immediately regained its normal speed, and the AC is now cooling perfectly. The technician gave a highly inflated estimate for unnecessary parts, indicating either a total lack of technical competence or an intent to cheat.I emailed customer care team with these details on 15/05/2026. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have received no response. This level of service is completely unacceptable and fraudulent. I demand an immediate refund of my ₹590 service charge but so far there is no action from their end.

I ordered Serial.No.of Invoice : I26361007002 the item on 01st May 2026. Item came very late on 11th May 2026. On top of that incomplete delivery items missing. Technicians came from Voltas to fix but left due to missing parts. How the quality check working?. We will never do this mistake again Trusting Voltas and ordering directly from Voltas. My family is on vacation in Kochi for a 1 month and there is No Ac available total vacation ruined. Now we need to stay in the Hotel.

I am writing this with great dissatisfaction regarding the recently purchased Voltas AC from your Bismi Kalamassery Branch.
As informed by the Bismi sales team, the AC installation was supposed to be free of cost. The Voltas installation team visited my residence on 11 May 2026 and completed the installation. During the installation, they collected an amount of INR 1,480/- towards the AC stand, additional wiring, taping, etc., without providing any proper invoice or receipt.
After completing the installation and leaving the premises, the installation team contacted me over the phone and informed me that I must additionally pay an installation charge of INR 1,500/-, stating that the installation was not free.
I am highly disappointed with this kind of miscommunication and misleading information provided by both the Bismi and Voltas teams after the purchase and installation were completed.
This is my second time purchasing a Voltas AC from Bismi Kalamassery Branch, and unfortunately, this has become a very bad experience from both teams.

Very bad experience in this year. We brought a 1 ton ac in calicut Nikshan Showroom in April 2026. After installation due to gas leackage we forced to return it because of the services they provided for us... The showroom didn't take a transparent communication with the customer also from the side of Voltas . After we decide for refund they said it will take 2 weeks. its nearly 2 weeks,but still our issues is not resolved. From the side of showroom and also from the side of voltas no one called us instead we need to call them for the updation. We are available whenever they want us to remove the ac, but no one came for uninstallation. When we r out of the town now they says that after uninstallation only we will get the refund back.. very bad services.. when I called voltas service center for complaints they said they can't give any contact nmbr of superiors, if we want check google and file a complaints.. while asking they don't know company mail ID also.. How can an employee didn't know their company mail ID.. ridiculous... Is this the people trained for a responsibile company.. Shame on you guys..
