Excellent service from Volcano Coffee…
Excellent service from Volcano Coffee Works. Royal Mail 'lost' my parcel and I contacted VCW via email. I received a response & they sent a replacement order straightaway, which I received today. The customer service was brilliant. The coffee smells divine. I am very impressed with the service and would not hesitate to use this company again.

Brilliant service and the best coffee I’ve purchased online this year (Toffee Apple). I’ll certainly be making more orders down the line.

I was intrigued by the toffee apple…
I was intrigued by the toffee apple coffee so ordered that and a couple of other varieties. The ordering process was simple and the coffee arrived quickly. The toffee apple beans are great, they really do make a coffee with apple notes. Will buy from Volcano again.

Lovely coffee
Bought some of the "Sombra" coffee for my son's 18th birthday hamper (he was getting a bean-to-cup coffee maker for his birthday) and both he and my husband (the coffee drinkers in the household) agree that this coffee is lovely, and they are both keen to try more Volcano varieties
The only fly in the ointment was us being let down by the DHL delivery, meaning the coffee actually arrived after the birthday ( I ordered it a week or so before the big event) so I would advise ordering in plenty of time if doing so.

Great 1st experience with Volcano
Efficient customer service when I had a query re delivery and so far I've just tried the Mount blend of the sample pack and it is delicious (I drink it as a flat white). The Volcano coffee clips I ordered are ideal for sealing the bags too.

The coffee is lovely
The coffee is lovely, we’re really enjoying it the moment but the only grip is that we ordered a 1kg bag but their packaging isn’t resealable annoyingly. When we’ve used other brand we always got resealable packaging especially with the 1kg bags.

Thanks for your review, Terrence. Great to hear you're enjoying our coffee.
We decided to opt out of having resealable functionality on our bags to save on the extra plastic that came with it, which was surprisingly a lot! We did however decide at the same time to stock storage tins which you can store your coffee in as well as a reusable clip to keep the bag sealed. Please do send over an email to orders@volcanocoffeeworks.com next time you place your order and we can include a clip in your order on us :-)
Coffee ordering is simple and doesn’t…
Coffee ordering is simple and doesn’t take too long.
Some coffees are roasted to order, some are not.
Regardless, all delicious.
Thank you for replying to my review. Loving the light fruity ones so much that I’m placing my next order right now!

Thanks so much for your review, Liz. We roast on a Loring roaster which uses hot air convection to roast the coffee, this has the benefit of slowing the ageing process and extending the life of the coffee significantly and the coffee ages extremely well compared to other roasters. Typically, the coffee you receive will have been roasted that week or the week prior and in our experience the optimal period to consume our coffee is from 1 week after roasting date to about 5 weeks after the roast date although we think it can still taste great after this if stored properly.
Just to give you a little insight into how we roast, pack and ship. Great to hear you are enjoying our coffees :-)
