Just wanted to say that my husband and I have had a great booking experience with Kritika at Viva Cruises. She's been there from start to finish and made the whole thing worthwhile. All our questions were answered and our requests dealt with, either by email or direct over the phone. So we're now set for our holiday in September 2025.

I found the whole process from start to finish very easy, straight forward and very friendly.
The only disappointment was after receiving confirmation of our balcony cab discovering that it was a very restricted view with a lifeboat in front of us. Not good.

Found this company by chance online doing a cruise search, I rang them with my plans for what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go and the consultant was fantastic, she found us a fantastic deal and we booked it and all done very quickly and smoothly. After hard sell to upgrade with tactics…
After hard sell to upgrade with tactics like “your view might be obscured by a lifeboat” During the cruise we found none of the cabins would have been obscured, sadly took advantage of us not doing a cruise previously. We were charged 180 dollars gratitudes added to our bill, even though gratitudes are added e.g buying drinks etc, they added charges that were not ours, we had que for two hrs to get these removed, felt sorry for the staff having to apologise for these failures. Prior to the cruise we had a stop to Niagra, we were promised a transfer as they operated every 30 mins, we arrived after a 12 hr flight to be told we had to wait 1 hr 30 due to them waiting for a delayed flight clearly incorrect information provided. One of the hotels we stayed was not what was promised, the trip was poorly planned in parts, we only saw the hotel in Miami, I highlighted all of the above, they offered me £50 a person off our next holiday, I said no way I would not trust you again, albeit they offered the £50, they praised everything they do and blamed third parties for anything they could, I reminded them my contract was with them, customer service is useless, when I left my first review regarding the hard sell, the agent called me asking if I could change my review to 4*, I’m not sure they understand these are truthful reviews not to be instructed by the company, I said I would think about it
We declined your £50 credit as we said we would not book with you again.

Cabin Availability & Upgrade
We acknowledge your concerns regarding the cabin upgrade process. However, the price you paid for your Balcony Cabin, including the Aft-Extended Balcony upgrade, was £40 per person cheaper than the originally advertised price for the same cabin without the upgrade. The upgrade was presented as optional, and we documented your approval at the time. In total, we believe the cost for the upgrades offered good value.
Transfers & Flight Delays
Flight delays and late arrivals are unfortunately out of our control and can affect travel companies globally. We understand these delays impacted your ability to enjoy an evening meal, and we will continue working with our transfer partners to minimize such issues in the future.
The Hotel in New York
We regret that your hotel stay in New York did not meet expectations. We provided comprehensive details, including reviews and ratings, to help you make an informed decision, which you confirmed and approved.
Spa Charges & Gratuities
Gratuities on the cruise are standard practice but not mandatory. Any concerns about these fees should be addressed directly with the cruise line’s guest services. Spa charges are also optional, and we recommend contacting the cruise line for any billing discrepancies. These details were clearly communicated at the time of booking.
Cabin Type & View Clarification
At no point did we state that the cabins would have obstructed views. We made an effort to explain the difference between a guaranteed cabin and a numbered cabin, and we regret any confusion this may have caused. Clear communication is crucial, and we aim to ensure first-time cruisers fully understand their options.
Rating & Service Commitment
The rating you give us is entirely your decision. Our priority is always to provide excellent service, and we are pleases with the many 5-star ratings we’ve received. We use all feedback to improve our services.
Resolution & Transparency
While we prefer resolving matters privately, we have made multiple attempts to address your concerns and offer fair resolutions. Despite this, we regret your decision to continue posting complaints on public review platforms, which misrepresents the situation. We feel this is an attempt to seek compensation based on claims that do not reflect the actual services provided.
Moving Forward
We take full responsibility for the parts of your holiday within our control. Although you declined our previous goodwill gesture, we would like to offer a £50 per person credit towards a future booking, valid for two years. Had no problems other than having to substitute our train for a coach but absolutely nothing to do with Viva. This was an issue with Amtrak. Would definitely recommend Viva and use in future

Just booked a holiday with Viva Holidays and had to run on here to write a review.
The booking process has been extremely enjoyable, we found a deal for a holiday and wanted to amend the cruise section, we called up and the advisor Kritika sorted everything out for us.
The breakdown and itinerary of the holiday had everything and more, it included all the transfers, links to the hotels and cruise ship! Best itinerary breakdown I have ever encountered.
I have tried to book at holiday with many different holiday companies but Kritika has been the best holiday advisor I have come across. She was extremely patient with going through every single ridiculous question that we had!
