Terrible. Not to be trusted in the least.
How can anyone stand behind such fraud and sleep well at night????

The dress I received is nothing like what’s in the picture or product specs. The website is extremely misleading. I immediately asked a return label and refund. Will update my review once I get a response from them.

I would give a ZERO if I could! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE! TOTAL SCAM. I did try to return a dress that a bought and there is NO WAY under the sky that anybody would get any cent back from these scammers - Margaret & David. It is a painful experience and I have to send this warning and hopefully people are smarter than me and check the legitimacy of these vendors before hitting the Buy button. Luckily I will get my money back from my bank but this is not right, fake companies like Velora Toronto should be punished and exterminated. Stay away!

The fabric is not at all what it says and the option of refund is there if you choose to pay for the shipment back to china. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE

I struggle to give this company even one star.

My mother was misled into purchasing the “Natural 3-Piece Set™ - Premium Cotton and Linen Blend,” which was advertised as a natural fibre set with a beautiful, relaxed drape. What she received was nothing like the advertisement. The colour was completely different, the quality was poor, and the garment label clearly states it is 95% polyester and 5% spandex— on the tags, not the premium cotton and linen blend advertised.

When we contacted customer service, aka "Margaret and David" and requested a prepaid return shipping label because the item was clearly not as advertised, they repeatedly responded with variations of, “We’re sorry it didn’t meet your expectations.” This completely misses the point. The issue isn’t that it failed to meet expectations—it is that the product received is materially different from the product they marketed.

Despite acknowledging that I wanted a full refund, they refused to cover the return shipping, insisting I pay to ship an internationally misrepresented product back at my own expense. Alternatively, they would refund me 15% of what I paid.

What makes this even more frustrating is that their website prominently advertises a “100% Happiness Guarantee” stating:

“Try everything on at home. Wrong size? We’ll swap it for free. Not the perfect fit? Send it back within 30 days for a full refund, no questions asked.” Which is found on the main page of their website.

That guarantee certainly didn’t apply in our experience. Instead of standing behind their products, they relied on their general return policy that shift the financial burden to the customer—even when the product delivered does not resemble what was advertised. This is typical for a fraudulent online retailer who lies to their customer base and goes overseas to mass produce junk to scam people.

In my opinion, the photographs used in their advertising bear little resemblance to the actual products shipped. I would strongly encourage anyone considering ordering from this company to do their research and read independent reviews before purchasing. My experience with Velora Toronto was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend buying from this company

Ladies,save your money for something else!! Velora is a big scam! The items I got it's like day and night. On a picture one thing ,and absolutely different one in your parcel. No money back. They suggested to replace it,Ha ha! With another weird items? Quality is horrible,style like my grandma wouldn't wear. Please stay away from this Velora!!!!

The company is a fake. They advertise linen/cotton blend clothing when is is really polyester spandex. Fabric is all white and then coloured on one side to mimic what they advertise. Customer service is a joke.

DO. NOT. BUY. FROM. THIS. COMPANY. Requested steps to follow for a refund. Unable to speak to anyone from this company. Called the tel number. Directed to an email address. No reply to my 5 emails. Product wasn’t as described. Awful fit. They aren’t listed as a company with the BBB. I contacted my bank and they will refund me the $107.41.

I ordered a dress, Velora sent a different dress, an inferior cheap dress that was not on their website and said I had to send it back to China to the warehouse that had sent it out. When I said I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake they refused to give me all my money back and would only refund 65%of the cost. We sent 10 emails back and forth but they wouldn't budge. Do not order from them there is no guarantee you get what you paid for and they will not give you your money back if they sent the wrong item.

Total Chinese Scam site. Products don't match pictures and sizing is way off. The whole site is an AI fake. They want you to return their garbage products to China at your own expense. Avoid at all costs.

Refund policy is not acceptable. Why have to pay to return a product that was misrepresented

This is a scam site. Do not order anything from them. Sizing is terrible, quality is nothing like advertised. They do not cancel orders even an hour after placing an order. If you want to return it will cost you as much as you paid to buy it. All comes from china. Their address online is also fake look it up on google earth.

Dress advertised was not what was shown. The garment tag was cut off, and material was like a synthetic material. The address shown shows that it is on a railroad and the picture of the so-called owners are fake. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS UNKNOWN. Buyer beware. Too late for me. :(

Ordered the Emeline casual top. Looks great on the website. Description says "A beautifully relaxed, easy-fitting top in a warm cream with an all-over pattern of raised circular embroidery — concentric rings of delicate textured stitching that give the whole surface a quietly artisan, handcrafted depth that reads as genuinely original wherever you wear it." when it finally arrived, the pattern of embroidery is not actual embroidery but rather a blurry print of the mentioned embroidery on thin, papery, synthetic cheap fabric. Horrible!!! Buyer beware

The dress I ordered looks absolutely nothing like the picture that I ordered from. If I look further down, it says the material is 100% cotton and it is the cheapest polyester I have ever felt in my life. When I contact them about the return, I’m told I’m responsible for the shipping cost and it is going back to China so the shipping cost will be more than I paid for the dress. This is a total scam. Do not order from this company. None of the pictures are as the products are.

I feel TOTALLY scammed. Item not even close to description, made from terrible cheap polyester. Maple Washing at its worst. This is a fly by night online company where clothes are manufactured offshore.
Run away from ever ordering from it!

Velora Toronto claims to be a Toronto boutique. But it has no working Toronto phone, and no street address. The website is US based. Goods are shipped from overseas and neither of the ones I ordered bore any resemblance to the descriptions. When contacted the company would not pay for return shipping (the shipping would have been nearly as much as the goods cost) or offered to refund only a fraction of the value (meaning we would still have paid more than they were worth)
