The product is second to none. I've tried all of the online Tret suppliers and I have found Uncouth's service and products are leaps ahead of anyone else. The website is easy to navigate, I've always had a very swift response to queries and most importantly my face loves their formula.

Over the time I’ve been using Uncouth, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my skin. My fine lines and wrinkles have become much less noticeable, and the overall texture and appearance of my skin has improved so much. My skin feels smoother, healthier and more refined.

I’ve tried various skincare products over the years, but I can honestly say I’ve been really impressed with the difference Uncouth has made. I love that the results have built up gradually over time and that my skin now looks and feels noticeably better.

I've been getting prescription skincare from Uncouth for a couple of years now I think and never had a problem. I've tried all the big popular brands and always found that their customer service was terrible, making it seem like a task just to contact them and that their treatments were all so distressing to my skin no matter what I did.
When I changed to Uncouth I only did it out of curiosity but was instantly shocked by how even at the same formula/strength their treatments felt so much more gentle and hydrating. I'm now managed to work up to being on the strongest strength of Tretinoin available. I really couldn't recommend them more.

I switched to Uncouth after a poor experience from another skincare provider that supplied tretonin. I simply can't fault their product and their customer services. When I have need to get support, they come back to you quickly and it feels like a very personal service that they offer. I've been using their product for probably 2 years now with no issues. Website is easy to use if you wish to change how frequently you receive your product. All round excellent service

Very happy to leave a review. The formula is very good and I really appreciate that they treat you like a grown-up, allowing you to specify your preferences and choose your starting strength. I was already using tret but wanted to change provider and the process was very straightforward.

The website and packaging are minimal, which is absolutely fine by me - I’m mainly interested in getting a good product. Customer service were very helpful when there were issues with Royal Mail.

I can safely say I have the best skin of my life at 49!

Banish are a fantastic company. Their devices are safe, easy to use and competitively priced. Delivery was fast and updates regular. The aftercare is what sets them apart from other companies. Instructive videos and emails with commonly asked questions are provided on a regular basis and they are easily contactable and available to answer questions. I also love the specially formulated serum that came with my device. They really are a 5 star company in my opinion.

I'd tried several other products for my acne without much luck before trying this. I've been using my prescription for 8 weeks now, and within the first 3 to 4 weeks my face was noticeably clearer. Delivery has been reliable too, I mean they say up to 7 days, and it's always arrived on time. Really happy with it so far, and I'd recommend it to anyone who's struggled with acne and run out of things to try.

I genuinely wanted to love Uncouth because the treatment itself was showing promise. My skin became noticeably calmer and I was finally starting to regain confidence.
Unfortunately, the service has been incredibly disappointing.
This is a premium-priced prescription service, yet while payments are taken promptly, the same can't be said for communication or delivery. An email I sent regarding my prescription apparently wasn't received despite being sent to the correct email address, resulting in unnecessary delays.
I've now been without treatment since 9 July because of shipping issues and delays in replacing my prescription. Despite being assured my replacement had been dispatched, I still haven't received anything. My skin is now beginning to break out again and the progress I had made is starting to reverse.
Prescription skincare relies on consistency. Delays like this have a real impact on treatment outcomes, and I expected much better communication, urgency and customer care from a company charging premium prices.
The team have always been polite, but unfortunately good customer service is about resolving problems, not just responding to them. Based on my experience, I can't currently recommend Uncouth.

It took me a long time to find a skincare provider that felt reliable, responsive and willing to listen to my individual circumstances rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach.

My previous supplier’s product was excellent, but unfortunately the clinical support let them down. Questions often took a long time to be answered, and on one occasion I waited over a week for a reply that didn’t really address what I had asked.

My experience with Uncouth so far has been the complete opposite. I had my consultation on Saturday and, despite a bank holiday, my treatment was approved and shipped within days.

What immediately reassured me was the transparency of the company. There is a “Meet the Team” section with names, photos, and qualifications, as well as details of the dispensing pharmacy, which gave me confidence in who I was dealing with.

The onboarding information has also been excellent. The welcome email included a detailed patient information leaflet explaining ingredients, usage and precautions in a really clear way.

Most impressive of all, I asked a follow-up question through the dashboard chat and received a personalised, helpful response within 30 minutes. After previous experiences elsewhere, that level of support genuinely stood out.

It’s still early days, but my first impression has been extremely positive and I’m genuinely looking forward to continuing my skincare journey with Uncouth.

THANK YOU. I've always struggled with my skin, since I was a teenager I had persistent hormonal acne. I tried so many things. It took a couple of iterations working with the Uncouth team to figure out my best formulation, but now 6 months later my skin is the best it's ever been, I finally feel like I can go outside without makeup on. The formulation I have landed on is something I can't get anywhere else and I am so grateful for the team for helping me through this journey.

I first requested tretinoin and estriol cream not realising this would cost £69 per month. Once I realised, I messaged and changed to just tretionoin for £48.80 per two months. They replied that this was fine and would be sent to me by my next due date. My dashboard kept saying pay £0.00 now so I messaged them to let them know i was not able to pay. Then £48.80 was taken from my account. After the money was taken, they messaged to ask if I still wanted the £69 cream which had been cancelled and showed as cancelled, so I told them i didnt want it and I wanted the cream that was agreed and paid for. My dashboard said it had been shipped but I was told it hadn't been shipped. I was then asked if I wanted it and told them of course as I have paid for it. My dashboard now shows as pending consultation. You need to be consistent with tretinoin, so please think twice before using this company if consistency is important to you.

Not sure how I'm feeling about the service they offer 🤔 I've paid for my prescription which has been under review for the past for days I have messaged the team multiple times to ask how long it takes for them to review until I'm prescribed the product that best suits me.... silence... I feel ignored 🙁

I cannot recommend Uncouth Skincare highly enough. Emma is a brilliant dermatologist who provides truly hands-on advice, guidance, and care throughout the entire process. My skin has never looked or felt this good. I started treatment around four months ago, and now in my mid-40s my skin is genuinely better than it was in my 20s. The results have been transformative, and I feel confident knowing my treatment is carefully tailored and expertly managed. I am now adding hydroquinone to the regimen and feel completely reassured doing so under Emma’s guidance. Exceptional service and outstanding results.

Sent and charged for someone else’s prescription in error but told I might like to try it. Felt like a chemical burn, skin barrier wrecked as way too strong given I had just received my first prescription a few weeks earlier.

The person on chat should never have advised just using was the advice from the derm who is now helping me.

I should have just sent it back but tbh the hassle factor won and they got an extra payment from me. I do wonder if that was actually the scam.

Communication is in their chat box with no notification of new messages. Just hard work, unprofessional practices and relatively expensive.

There are better options around. Lesson learnt.

Joined Uncouth as I had heard great reviews about this company and I’m glad to say the reviews were not wrong. They welcome your input as to what treatment you are prescribed. You can easily contact them to alter the delivery date of your next treatment and to message them if you have any questions. I recommend this company

I’d like to start by saying I’ve tried all the major online skin subscription retinol programmes. I’ve been desperately searching for a cure to my adult acne.

At first I quite liked uncouth because I thought the price was decent compared to Klira, and just a bit of a higher standard than Dermatica or Skin and me, however, I’ve recently changed my mind.

When you get your bottles, they say that you can last up to eight weeks and because my prescription was upped to a higher dose, I couldn’t actually tolerate it more than once a week. I started to break out quite badly when I continued to use it beyond the expiration date, but I hadn’t even made a dent in it…

Obviously it’s wasteful to just keep spending 50 pound each time when you’ve only used a fifth of your retinol.

I think the formulations are less stable than other over-the-counter retinols. You can get e.g. Obagi etc. which last 6 months, because having to repurchase after eight weeks is just a money-making racket.

I also gave them feedback about the fact that I could not see the individual base ingredients on my packaging or in my personal account, which I did not like.

I like to know what I’m putting on my face as I check every single ingredient and when they replied to me to say that I was on base one, I ran it through the acne pore checker site and found that it has a comedogenic pore-clogging ingredient, which I think might have contributed to my breakouts.

I’m going to find another retinol where I know exactly what’s in it, which is hopefully stable for longer and it doesn’t have any pore-clogging additives.

The online account management is generally unclear. I couldn’t always work out where my subscription was at and ended up having to message a few times. Payment process was unclear at times too and I ended up missing one but received no emails. I only found out when I logged into my account.

Finally, I dislike that they have just started doing other things such as fat loss injections. To me that says they’re not actually experts about skin, they’re just bothered about profits…

Brilliant and efficient service. My personalised prescription is transforming my skin already, and it hasn’t even been a week. I was also pleased to find out at the time of ordering that they had a special offer on at the time. They brought this to my attention which shows the honesty and integrity of this company. Very pleased indeed.
