Avoid this company at all cost. My story is the same as everyone's so I won't bother to tell the story. They won't ship your items, they just make excuses until you give up and go away. These people are scum.

This company is a scam machine.
I ordered a vinyl release that was advertised on the product page as "Signed." The vinyl I received was not actually signed. When I contacted customer service, they told me to open it and see if there was a signed insert inside. I did not buy "vinyl with a signed insert." I paid for "signed vinyl," which would imply the actual sleeve is signed. They told me to fill out a return request, but the online form was not giving the amount of a full refund, presumably to keep money back for shipping. Since the return was due to a dishonest listing description on their part, I said that I expect the full amount to be refunded for THEIR error, not mine. The customer service agent said that I would be refunded for shipping once they receive the item. Fast forward to today and I was NOT refunded the full amount and the customer service lied. I am not contacting them and giving them one more chance to refund the remainder and then I will be disputing the difference with my credit card company.
Trust the awful 1.1 star average for this terrible and dishonest company. uMusic does not care about their customers and they will lie and attempt to steal from you when they are wrong.

Posted a review on YELP, well keeps getting DELETED, obviously UMG probably PAYS for DELETES on yelp. Useless review site trustpiilot is way better ! UMG customer service on a purchase is NON EXISTANT ! AVOID this record label like the plague !

Terrible quality control. Very poor customer service
The really sad thing about this company is that the musicians who sell their merch through these jokers probably don't even realise how bad they are. I bought a Dermot Kennedy limited edition vinyl EP towards the end of November. It arrived in terrible shape. They offered to replace it promptly enough, after requesting two sets of photos from me. I sent it back and received a replacement which arrived in even worse condition. More photo evidence was requested. I sent it back again and requested a refund.
For the record the outer packaging was in perfect condition. The EPs were damaged before they were packed. Compassion fatigue clearly sets in with their customer services. I have sent a total of 7 emails to them, chasing for feedback, over the course of this transaction. The automated responses are very reassuring, and the "how did we do" follow up email never fails to arrive. I've been advised today that a refund is finally being processed. It was only after I requested another update yesterday. I hope the money arrives at some stage.
Sadly, I don't think potential customers will read these reviews until after they've had a bad experience. I hope some of the people further up the ladder at Universal, or maybe the good people who are trusting these amateurs to sell stuff on their behalf can take notice of the really disappointing experience that seems to be so commonplace. I have tried to support a musician I really enjoy and it's cost me time, money and most disappointingly, goodwill. Guaranteed the artists are paying for this company's failures.

After trying to get any information, UMusic Canada stopped responding to inquiries entirely, leaving me unsure whether the order would ever arrive. I was close to filing a chargeback when the item finally showed up.
The product itself is fine despite being vastly over priced, but the customer service experience was not. I would hesitate to order again.

Returned 2 CDs with cracked cases 6 weeks ago. Provided proof of postage and tracking shows they received it a week later but they are still failing to refund or replace 5 weeks later as they say it hasn’t been processed yet. Just get AI responses saying the same thing. Avoid. I won’t buy from them again.

Pre-order not dispatched
I pre-ordered the Wicked For Good LP in September as a Christmas present for my daughter. It was released at the same time as the film so assumed it would arrive around that time in November. I have chased by email four times in recent weeks only to be told every time that my order is ‘being processed’ and I will be notified when it’s shipped. I doubt it will arrive in time for Christmas now (if at all) and I’m dreading how difficult the process will undoubtedly be to try to get a refund! It makes pre-ordering completely pointless when the items still haven’t been dispatched weeks after the release date. I would definitely not order from them again in the future.

I have never been so disappointed with a company. The complete lack of communication and care for customers is appalling.
I ordered a piece of Ronnie Wood art (over £700) on 28th November, and am still yet to receive any update on the item. I have emailed numerous times as the item is a Christmas present and now I’m conscious they likely won’t deliver in time. The replies I have received are automated and completely useless.
The item I ordered was in stock and estimated delivery was 3-4 days, which clearly the company lied about. I’m not entirely sure what the operational and order fulfilment part of this company is doing, but it’s useless.

Shoutout to Coby from Universal Music group for completing shafting me on this order and now my order is being send to the wrong address. I emailed them RIGHT away an after a big order after my phone autocorrected last minute.
They were SO slow in getting back to me that I couldn’t get them the proof it was really me in time and now it’s being sent to lord knows where.
I will in the future be looking to make sure universal music group is NOT the ones distributing merch because I hate working with them that much. This is my second year in a row having issues with them.
