Review of UKWorkx – Extremely Poor Experience
I paid £800 to UKWorkx in early 2025 for a job support service that claimed to help with CV preparation, job applications, and securing interviews.
My experience was extremely disappointing.
The service mainly consisted of two very basic manuals that contained generic advice similar to what can easily be found online. The CV support was minimal, and responses from the team often took weeks.
Despite the promise of help with job opportunities and interviews, I did not receive any genuine interviews for corporate, hospitality, or care home roles. Some of the opportunities I was connected to appeared to be related to MLM-style schemes rather than legitimate employment.
Another concern was transparency. The company advertises a London presence, but when someone from their team accessed my email account (which I had shared with them for job application purposes), the login location showed New Delhi, India.
When I asked how long the service would continue and how many applications were actually being submitted on my behalf, I did not receive clear answers. Eventually I was told to apply for jobs on my own.
For a service costing £800, the value provided was extremely poor. I would strongly advise others to research carefully before using this service.

I was actively looking for new roles after a layoff at work and came across Lalit promoting the Innovator Founder visa as a route to stay in the UK on LinkedIn. I must say the posts were quite convincing. I reached out for an initial paid call and decided to go ahead. I paid £800 for business ideation and professional business plan writing. I did not want to pay for MVP as I am a tech professional and can do it myself, and Lalit agreed to it, which was nice of him. I made the payment. Things only went well till this point.

Here are the business ideas that were suggested in 2025:
- Real-estate ML tool to predict property-chain health.
- Social-listening marketing/sales bot.
- Auto-updating T&C / contract generator SaaS.
- UK invoice payment optimiser with late-payment prediction.

None of which were even close to meeting Innovator Founder visa criteria, and these were already in the market for almost a decade. Strangely, I was just given these ideas as one-liners in WhatsApp chat, and then it was on me to search and figure out—and with just a Google search, it was quite obvious our man has no idea what he is doing. There were a few other funny ones that he suggested.

Now this whole process till here took almost 2 months. At this point I was done and asked for a refund, and he wouldn't give it, saying the team had already invested a lot of time on my ideas. Even after negotiations, he wouldn't budge. Note that at this point I didn't even get anything for what I paid for. Now I was basically stuck and decided to take the job board idea, which is basically his own website, and I am sure he sold this idea to many more people. At this point I started working in a new role and didn't want to work on this crap idea anyway. Now in the UK the rules are pretty good, and I reported this fraud and got my money back. So if you are in my situation and looking for ways to get a visa, trust me no such guy will be able to help you and you are only going to get exploited. You have lost your money, I am sorry, but beware—this is a SCAM!!

Non reliable service, I found Lalit through LinkedIn. Worked towards my innovator founder visa for about 2 months. Even though he was quick in conceptualising and finding an innovative idea. The business plan failed in meeting the scalable and viable criteria. Moreover , the 100% money back deal was completely bogus! I ended up losing money and time without any refund. Non trustworthy service . Wouldn’t recommend it.

I came across their profile on LinkedIn, and it mentioned a free CV review. So I reached out and asked them for a CV review. They asked me to send my CV over, and within two days, I received the review along with a report of implementation.

They are doing a great job for international students. Evelyn was really helpful and professional throughout my journey with Ukworkx.

I was introduced to them by one of my colleagues when i was negotiating a sponsorship with my current employer. Things didn’t work out unfortunately and i was made redundant a few days after that.

I was a bit skeptical about joining ukworkx in the start as i only had two months left on my visa and i wasn’t sure if they will actually be able to help me. I had a call with them and decided to give it a try. They fast tracked my process as i had less time, i received a total of 3 interviews and one of those companies agreed to sponsor my visa. I am grateful for their help and would happily vouch for them.

I had no clue how to navigate the UK job market as I was an international student who came here for my masters. I had used career consulting services before which were useless and a waste of money so I was hesitant at the start. After talking to one of their consultants they clearly answered my questions and reassured me. From writing professional ATS friendly CVs to applying for finding and applying for jobs me every week. The entire process was smooth and efficient. Their Elite package included everything I needed help with

What I found most useful was there 1:1 interview preps. Even when I would tell them I had an interview coming up on very short notice they would always make sure to have proper meetings with me. We would go through mocks interviews, they’d give me personalised guides which mentioned everything from how to prepare, what questions will come up, example answers using STAR technique and would even tell me what questions I should ask the recruiter and how to follow up with with them after the interview.

All in all I’m really happy. I want to personally thank Lalit, Evelyn and the entire time at UKWORKX for helping me finding a sponsored job. You guys really saved me

I really struggled with my communication. I had the right technical skills for the data analyst roles that I was applying for but not the communication skills required for the interviews in the UK.

As I come from a small town in India, I never focused on soft skills. This is where Ukworkx consultants really helped me. They helped me polish my interview skills and taught me how to use the STAR technique effectively in the interviews.

Moreover, Their ATS-friendly CVs were a gamechanger. It helped me to get way more interviews than I was getting before. They made a minor mistake in my CV but it was correctly quickly.

Lastly, I found their job application service useful, where they applied to the right companies on my behalf. They made sure that all the job applications were being sent to the companies that could sponsor my Visa. I got a job at BBC, London.

I would highly recommend giving them a try.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about UKworx. I sought out their services urgently, as they market themselves as a company that helps people find visa sponsorship opportunities in the UK. I was desperately looking for a job, so I paid £267 on October 23rd, trusting their promises of regular calls with a senior consultant, 20 job applications per week, and three ATS-compatible resumes. Unfortunately, none of these services have been delivered, despite my repeated follow-ups.

Their portal is barely functional and impossible to navigate, adding to the frustration. They also requested my LinkedIn password to apply for jobs on my behalf, which felt highly invasive and unprofessional. Not only did they fail to apply for any jobs, but the promised interview preparation was also a disaster. After chasing them multiple times, they only provided any assistance last minute, just a few hours before an actual interview — which is completely useless and unacceptable.

There has been zero proactive communication or support from their team. The whole experience feels like a scam, as they have no intention of delivering on anything they promise.

At this point, I’ve requested a full refund, but they have completely ghosted me. No responses to my emails or calls, and I’m left with no option but to escalate this.

If you’re looking for legitimate help with finding a job, especially with visa sponsorship in the UK, I strongly advise you to stay far away from UKworx. Their practices are unethical, and they show no real intention to provide the services they advertise. Do not waste your time or money on this company.Please think twice before engaging with this company.

The positive reviews are likely fake. Their linkedin profiles are either not properly setup/ no profile picture/ inactive for many days and do not have any details of the job they claim to have got. Many do not have their linkedin shared. Sponsored job board shows no sponsored vacancies.
