My bridesmaids and I did customized dress sizes instead of the ones they provided for us since my bridesmaids have all different shapes. When I received the dresses I was horrified! The dresses did not fit my bridesmaids according to the measurements we gave them. I emailed them to tell them my concerns and they said they could not do anything about it. I suggested them giving us a refund if we altered it ourselves since it was their fault for making the dresses the wrong sizes. That way my girls don’t have to spend another $50 on top of their $140 they spent on the dresses already! They offered partial refund (which to them means a max of $150. No more than that.) I had no choice. Some was better than nothing. The total cost of the girls alterations were a total of $350. I took photos of all the receipts and emailed it to them. They informed me to wait a month for my refund. One month later I email them that I never received my refund. Mind you I had had it at this point. They then inform me that they forgot about my refund and it was never processed and that I would have to wait another month! Seriously?! I already waited a whole month for my refund and within that time they couldn’t check on it to make sure it was going through? They had 30 days to get on it but completely forgot! So basically I waited a whole month for nothing. I’m still currently waiting for my refund.
My advice?! Go to a shop where you can physically talk to the employees. Over email is not helpful at all. Don’t risk it. I regret ever buying my bridesmaids dresses at this site.

I have ordered one of the bridesmaids' dresses as my wedding dress because I was looking for something simple and elegant yet tailored to my measurements. Great customer service: when I realized there was a wrong date on my request, the customer service immediately changed it and still made it in advance before the wedding. When I received the dress by mail, I could not be happier: it was very good quality, wonderful color, it fitted me perfectly. I instantly called my mom and danced in front of the camera :) Tulle dresses are great for your pictures too: they add this airy magical feeling to pictures. I would totally recommend Tulle and Chantilly to anyone who wants a great dress tailored to you. Thank you so much for making a perfect dress!

I hate not being able to try on dresses but the bride insisted we use this company. Delivery came way sooner than expected and the color of the dress is exactly what the bride wanted. Having given them my exact measurements the dress is too big in my bust and waist and basically looks like a am wearing a curtain. I'm just disappointed I have to spend more money on alterations than what I paid for the dress.

Wow, I can't believe this ordeal is finally over. Please avoid this company at all costs.

I ordered 5 custom-made bridesmaids skirts. Prior to ordering, I confirmed with Sophie that a few of the girls had biggest hips and wanted to ensure the skirts would fit well. Sophie assured me that, if we added 1 inch to the hip measurements, the fit would be good.

We received the skirts and none 1/5 fit properly. For the two girls with larger hips, they were unable to get the skirts on. Additionally, all the skirts were too long and would have to be hemmed. When I approached the company, they said that a refund would not be issues because the skirts were custom made and suggested I take them to a tailor for alternation, for which they would pay a portion. I took the skirts to a tailor who measured the skirts and informed Tulle and Chantilly that there was not enough fabric for the alternations. In fact, the skirts were 5-7 inches too small in the hips. The company finally admit that when they send the skirts to the factory, the tailors simply used the waist measurement and made the skirts according to a pattern - THE SKIRTS WERE NOT CUSTOM MADE. Despite this, they continued to offer no solutions and suggested I had to return the skirts at my own cost (over $200 to send from Canada to China).

At this point, I had opened a dispute with Visa who was helpful and provided me with the steps I needed to take to ensure I would get my money back. Almost 2 months later, I received a refund but I believe this was only due to the involvement of Visa. If you choose to risk purchasing products from this company, I recommend using Visa/Mastercard/etc in order to protect yourself in the event that this happens to you.

Additionally, the skirt fabric was very cheap and the skirts were poorly made. They did not have the finished look of a professional skirt and the price tag of $136CAD is absolutely NOT worth it. You can find better quality, better service, and better results elsewhere.

I was hesitant at first to order my bridesmaid dress from a company I hadn't used before, but was so happy when it came in! I did the custom size and submitted my measurements. I recommend you do the same because it fit perfectly! I placed my order at the beginning of May and it came less than a month later. Excited to wear it for my friend's wedding.

Great company! I ordered 4 Tulle skirts for my bridesmaids. The colour is perfect, the quality of material is excellent, and the service was great. I read some poor reviews and was hesitant to order, but I took the risk due to their great prices and I am so happy that I ordered with Tulle and Chantilly. The skirts even came a couple weeks before anticipated! You can trust this company and I highly recommend ordering from them.

I ordered a dress for a wedding. I was not too sure about the color but they had a picture of the swatches and it was perfect. The sizing was perfect as well, I was very pleased. The material feels well. It shapes my body perfectly. They are also very good about reply to emails promptly and nicely.

I was very reluctant to order this dress based on its location, and previous reviews that I read. I received my dress today, which was ordered on April 29 (about 3 weeks to deliver), for a July 28th wedding that I am in. I am over the moon with this dress. It fits like a glove (I ordered the standard size 10 and happened to exactly fit the dimensions yay!). The material is very nice (although a bit thick for a late July wedding, but that isn't their fault). The structure of the dress is wonderful. It feels like a corset up top and pulls everything in nicely. The built-in bra is amazing. It lifts without having padding. All in all, I am so very pleased, and feel beautiful in the dress.

SCAM!!!!

This company is a scam! They pretend they are located in the United States, but they are actually in China. I ordered a bridesmaid dress from them. It arrived too small and did not fit. Quality of the fabric of the dress is not nice. Very lumpy and odd fitting. It does not match the sizes listed on their website. I decided I need to return it (their website says they accept returns).

I followed their instructions to return on their website (they require you send a picture to prove it does not fit). They refused it with many excuses. 1) First excuse was that I was wearing a bra with the dress so that is why it doesn't fit. I told them it is still too small without a bra. 2) Then they told me to take it to get altered because it is too expensive to mail it back to China. I told them I don't have time to get it altered before the wedding, and it is not too expensive and I will send it back to them for a refund. 3) They refused and told me to take it to a "local shop" to sell it and they will reimburse me $15. The dress was $144 not $15.

I paid $35 dollars out of my own money to return it to get a refund and have still received nothing from them.

My experience with them was very fantastic. They were quick to communicate with me throughout the whole process and the dress arrived in a good manner of time. It fit exactly as I wished and honestly looked better than I expected. I am very pleased overall.

I was very hesitant to order a dress online for the wedding I am in. However, this company is fantastic. They have excellent customer service and their response time to my emails were very quick. The dress fits perfectly with the measurements I took and is a beautiful gown. Can not wait to wear it.

In Conclusion to my 2 previous reviews.
All issues have been resolved. Refunds were issued so we are good. Our experience was stressful and no one needs this when they are planning a wedding. For future bridesmaids I will give you our experience. Tulle & Chantilly operates out of Hong Kong and not in the USA. They do not take or answer phone calls even though they provide a phone number on their web site. They only communicate by email and it takes them several days to a week to get back to you. I actually finally reached them on a late Friday night while I was out to dinner thru FB messaging, when we were not getting any response to our emails. So here’s the deal:
1. Do not order several dress sizes if you think you are going to try them on at home and send back the ones that don’t fit. 2 of our bridesmaids did this and Tulle & Chantilly flagged this from the beginning. Their mistake was that they accepted payment for multiple orders even when they wouldn’t fill them. It was a concern on our part because the refunds are issued thru a UK banking system that takes months to resolve. We, as Americans, are not accustomed to this style of refunds on our online purchases. But that was finally resolved.
2. The reason we picked Tulle & Chantilly in the first place was because of their very nicely designed website. We ordered & purchased (they were not free) fabric samples of the colors we wanted. We were looking for a particular shade of blue, and honestly we had samples from many bridesmaids dress vendors and Tulle & Chantilly was THE ONLY ONE CARRYING the color we wanted. All other vendors had muddy blues and we knew we liked what T&C had to offer.
3. Timing and delivery worked out fine. We were nervous because at the time of our orders the T&C website was reporting that they were swamped and all new orders were on hold. The dresses came by a DHL delivery service & we had to sign for them upon delivery.
4. The fabric and fit. The fabric was lovely, the dress design was exactly as pictured and the dresses really were lovely. All the dresses required hemming, which we expected and we ordered the dresses well in advance in anticipation of alterations. Hemming averaged $50 per dress depending where you go. One bridesmaid needed bodice work and hemming, her alterations ran $350, in addition to the original cost of the dress at $150, it was a hefty total of $500 for one dress! But we were stuck with no extra time and no plan B.
5. Bottom line, these dresses are very pretty, we were never disappointed with the quality or the color. Our anxiety resulted from communication. If you have plenty of time and plenty of patience, Tulle & Chantilly delivers on their product.

I am satisfied with the dresses. I order 4 bridesmaid dresses from them, and 1 for my engagement photos. Customer service is 5 stars. However the dresses are not. The fabric looks really cheap and it wasn't sawn on in the best way. Additionally, the design of the dress was different. In the picture the fabric in the torso would curve around the models body, but the dresses we got did not have that design and they attach it going straight up and down. I don't mind the cheap fabric so much, but was not happy with the design change. My wedding was too close and I couldn't return the dresses and buy new ones in time.... However... I love the color of the dresses, and they actually looked pretty nice on the pictures. (unless the bridesmaids bend their bodies and you can see how the fabric moves around because it was not attached properly). Overall, I am not mad about the dress, but If I had to do it again I would not go with Tulle and Chantilly, but it was ok.

In Conclusion
The dresses measurements were accurate. The colors are beautiful. The dresses look nice in pictures. Fabric quality is bad. Sawing was below average but ok. Customer service is good. Delivery was fast (5 weeks) So hopefully this review helps another bride.

I must say that I was a little nervous ordering my bridesmaid dress from this company, as I had never heard of them before. However, Tulle and Chantilly were very responsive and personable right away, and even sent me a personal email to confirm my measurements and order. They responded to every inquiry in a timely fashion. And of course, when my dress came, it was absolutely perfect. Beautiful material, excellent craftsmanship, and fit like a dream. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful bridesmaids dresses.

We ordered four bridesmaid dresses from Tulle and Chantilly and, aside from a slight delay after ordering which did not affect the final delivery timing, we were delighted with the whole experience with Tulle and Chantilly. Sophie at Tulle and Chantilly was very careful about measurements, ensuring that we had all dresses in one order, and the results was that the dresses (considering the girls were not there to try them on for fittings) were very close to a perfect fit. The fabric, style and quality were as expected. We were very happy.

Tulle & Chantilly exhibits absolutely wonderful customer service care, great product quality, and timely shipping! The dress I ordered for my sister’s wedding is exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking for a unique, classy dress, then this is exactly the company you want to work with!

Nervous about having my bridesmaids buy dresses online, I was blown away with how this online dress company pulled it together! Their customer service was very responsive and quick with all of my questions and all of my bridesmaids love their dresses! Absolutely love!

I got the dress yesterday and it finally turned out to be lovely. Dress ordered in Feb and I didn't know I have to reply their email to confirm order information until they called me after like 2 weeks. They confirmed the sizes with me for 3 times LOL. The dress quality is good and the color is exactly what I want (dusty rose). Thank you.

Don't be tempted by all the cute colors and dresses! It is not worth it! I wanted to use their skirts for my wedding, so I ordered one several months in advance to see if I liked it. It was cute and arrived within a few weeks, so I went ahead and ordered one skirt for each of my 9 bridesmaids. The website says 4-5 weeks. I ordered at the beginning of January, the wedding was in mid-March, so I thought there wouldn't be a problem. 6 weeks go by. Nothing. I finally email them and ask if they are almost ready. Turns out all their workers take a 3 week vacation for Chinese New Years. Um.. why did you not tell me this when I ordered??? I tried to get a solid delivery date from them for several weeks over email so I could plan. They kept brushing me off and telling me it would be ready "on time" without specifically answering any of my questions. Finally I set a hard deadline -- either have it to me 11 days before the wedding or give me a refund. The deadline came and - surprise, surprise - no skirts and not even an email about their status. So I email them and tell them to cancel the order. What do you know! Now that I am livid and want my money back, the skirts are magically ready, and would I please accept them? No. I can't wait for these to ship from the other side of the planet, distribute them to all my bridesmaids, and make needed alterations in 11 days!! So I turned them down. Now it's less than TWO WEEKS BEFORE MY WEDDING and I have to completely redo my bridesmaid outfits. Such a nightmare. I am a full time college student and work 3 part time jobs and don't have time for this! I missed classes, work, and sleep to scramble and get a new outfit together for my girls.
Bottom line: if you want to order a dress or skirt just for you and you don't have a timeline, sure. Go for it. But if you have any sort of timeline and/or are planning to order more than 1, FORGET IT! Please don't make the same mistake I did; a bride does not need this kind of stress right before her wedding!

I was extremely nervous to be buying a dress online, seeing how I needed it fairly promptly.
However the service I received, as well as the length of time it took my dress to arrive were very reasonable.
Being 6'3, I had ordered a custom size dress. The measurements of the dress I ordered were exactly the same as the measurements of the dress I received. The dress is quite beautiful, with lovely fabric. I would say the dress is of great quality.
The dress came extremely fast. I ordered it on March 3, and it had arrived at my home in Canada by March 26.
My correspondence with "Sophie" was efficient and pleasant.

The one star off in my review is for the fees I was surprised with when my dress arrived in Canada. I had to pay an extra $21, which T & C had not forewarned might happen.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Tulle & Chantilly. I would recommend it to anyone, and especially to plus-size or very tall women (as the custom dress route with Tulle & Chantilly is exceptional.)
