The most helpful, reliable and professional travel company ever
I’ve never ever had such a helpful, prompt and reliable service regarding booking flights for multi stop long haul travel. And I’ve travelled a awful lot.Chris was very friendly and professional, all my changing requirements were met with the most generous can do attitude.
More than highly recommend Chris and Travlock to everyone for travel requirements. I certainly wouldn’t ever use anyone else again.

A generous 2*
A generous 2*. When I had to change my BA flight due to Covid, I was entitled to a voucher valid for about 15 months but I had to go through my agent... Travelock. They said it should be OK but never confirmed or gave me a voucher. Instead they said "come back when you're ready to book". A year later I booked my flight through them but later I needed to change my return flight that cost me an "arm & a leg". I was not amused throughout the experience of changing the flights. Had I bought the ticket directly with BA, I would have been much better off. Before that experience when buying the ticket first time - I would have given them 5/5 like many people have done. But the acid test of an agent comes when you want to cancel or change something. So my advice is that read the (worst) reviews first before you go to any agent/ company etc. Everybody would look after you when you are spending money but they are not the same when you want something back or your circumstances change. The experience was in Dec21 and later in Jan23.

It seems there might be a discrepancy in the timeline mentioned in your review. You highlighted experiences from December 2021 and January 2023. While your interactions with our agency indeed occurred during these periods, the review was posted in August 2023. We believe this gap in timing might have influenced the recollection of certain details.
In your review, you mentioned that changing your return flight cost you significantly, leading to a less than satisfactory experience. You are correct in saying that the real test for an agent comes when you want to change or cancel something also do bear in mind that the ticket you booked was non – changeable however we went the extra mile understanding your situation and still managed to get it changed and we'd like to provide clarity on the factors contributing to the costs which you mention cost you an "arm & a leg", you paid £497 for the change and upgrade from economy to Premium economy which is a reasonable amount for an upgrade and change and you would’ve paid much more and most likely would not have even managed to get the flights changed if booked directly with the airline as you presumed in your aforementioned review. The higher expense you encountered was primarily due to the upgrade to premium economy that you selected. Upgrading the class of your flight entails fare adjustments based on the specific airline's pricing structure. We assure you that the charges were directly related to the fare difference between economy and premium economy, as well as any associated administrative costs. We did not impose any additional markups beyond what the airline required for this upgrade.
If you have any further questions about the breakdown of costs or the upgrade process, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to address your concerns and provide any necessary clarifications. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you faced, and we appreciate your understanding of the complexities involved in flight changes and upgrades.
