Great day trip to Camden market! We all had a lovely day! A big thank you to the drivers Jamie and Craig 👍🏻

We had a fabulous time on this 5 day break. The staff were really helpful. Reading the reviews I was dreading it but it just goes to show you can’t believe all reviews as people usually only leave bad ones. Travel with Matthew are an excellent company. The coaches are spotlessly clean and very comfortable and The Heathlands hotel was really nice. Definitely will be travelling with Matthew again. Thanks Matthew and Co. for a marvellous time. xx.

If I could give a zero star I would...they take your money...never contact you with pick up times...then 2-3 days before your trip cancel with no remorse only to try and book you an alternative trip...this is the 2nd time of cancelling trips booked and paid for it full, and we have had yo contact them each time for information. DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL COMPANY READ OTHET REVIEWS AS THIS IS NIRMAL PRACTICE FOR THEM

Absolutely disgusted with this company, our trip to London was cancelled on the evening before we were due to go, supposed to be travelling at 7am in the morning, few excuses for not going, but turned out to be lies, we want full refund, hopefully will have better luck getting our money back than we did with our trip. We didn’t even have any itinerary untill two days before we were due to go, will not be booking anywhere with Mathews travel, complete joke

Trip to Torquay and Exeter 12/13 the February. Excellent. Picked me up on time, all arrangements went well. Dai was our driver down and Gavin brought me back. Spotless coaches, Had the patience of saints waiting for late comers.
No problem with contacting the company. I have phoned a few times for different information and they have been really helpful everytime.
I have another trip booked in March. 10/10.

Despite many phone calls, emails, Facebook messages (they have since blocked me so unable to send any messages), my 81 year old mother is STILL waiting for a refund from last November! We paid £420 to go on a London trip which they cancelled the day before departure & we are still waiting for our refund! I’m consistently ringing them & told that they’re working through ALL refunds in date order so they must owe hundreds of thousands out to people. However they have managed to find money to buy new buses & relaunch TWM!! I’m sure you can guess who’s money is paying for his brand new coaches 😡😡😡

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Absolutely horrendous company and customer service! We booked a Christmas shopping trip for November, which was cancelled last minute by them, due to lack of interest. We paid £120 in total, which we still haven’t received. The company is an absolute nightmare to get hold of and when we have eventually got hold of them, they have told us each time that their accounts team have to process the payments. Initially we were told 7 days for the refund and then by 28th of the month (November) and then 28 days. They’re quick enough to take peoples money, but giving it back is another story! Dispute raised with Monzo and PayPal, so hopefully this will help get our money back! DO NOT USE!!!

Disgusting withholding people’s money - as most have said below refuse to give money back for a trip they cancelled after which they regularly do if not enough interest. numerous distressful calls their “manager” states they refund into bank account still no money 7 weeks now. Please people on here email I urge you no good moaning here collectively need to report to the council and trading standards office and log these complaints and make them change their practice.

This company cancelled my trip 6 days before we were due to leave, been promised refund over and over again, 11 weeks now and still no refund just empty promises, please don't be taken in by the glossy pictures and write ups. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I paid a deposit for a trip in November 2020, paid the balance in September. Trip was cancelled last minute due to lack of interest. I am still waiting for a refund after nearly 11 weeks despite emails, phone calls and visits to the shop. Promises have been made and broken every time. Don't book with this company. I never will again

Only giving a 1 star because a 0 isn’t an option. Despicable company - cancel trips and then don’t give your money back. 50 days of going back and forth with this company and still no refund for a trip they cancelled last minute. Ignore your emails, ignore your Facebook messages (when you can see they’ve read them) then when you do get a rare response it’s a generic ‘it’s been escalated to accounts’. Never in my life have I heard of a company taking almost 2 months to action a refund. I will never book a trip with this company again and I’ll make sure I stop any friends/family doing so too! Avoid at all costs.

Keep this company at arms length, my mother booked a holiday with these in Sept to go in Nov, week before due to go was told the trip was cancelled due to not enough people, was offered full refund which would take up to 28 days …… still waiting a refund nearly month and half later! Emails after emails sent and phone calls to be fobbed off… payment was supposed to processed Friday 28th Jan via card … even got it in writing in an email … still waiting ……

Don’t be fooled by there good trips cause they don’t happen and they don’t give back your money

Please don't book with this company, you will never see your money again. I'm owed £398 for a trip they cancelled due to "lack of interest". The initially said up to 28 days for a refund, then that changed to 6 weeks. I've had messages saying they have escalated it to the relevant department. Surprise, surprise, 8 weeks have passed and still no refund and they have now stopped replying. Very deceitful and dishonest and unlikely I will see my money again 😭

I booked a trip to Manchester for my boyfriends birthday and paid £238 as they said they needed the full cost upfront. THEY cancelled the trip 4 days before we were due to go ‘because of covid’ and ‘because they didn’t have enough drivers’. I requested a full refund, they told me it would be in my bank within 14 days. 14 days later, the money still wasn’t in my bank - I rang again and they told me they didn’t know how long it would be until I was refunded.

I raised a dispute through my credit card company and Travel with Matthew have told Lloyds bank that I cancelled the trip so they are not refunding me !!!! They owe me £238 and are disputing that they owe me anything !!

Vile vile company and I’ll be sure to tell everyone I ever come into contact with to avoid them at all costs

Toke our money, cancelled the trip and then would not refund us, after weeks of chasing we went to our bank for a refund through our credit card provider, only to have that taken back off us as TWM said we cancelled the trip, absolute joke of firm, i would highly recommend you stay away from this company

Recently returned from a 3 day break to London and it was fantastic from pick up to drop off. The driver David and his friend Gavin were friendly, funny and informative.
The hotel's location was amazing and was clean, tidy and served a good breakfast.
Travel with Matthew were very helpful when I rang with queries etc.
Would definitely recommend them and will most certainly book again in the near future

Went to Ilfracombe week-end Dec 10 th had great time. looking forward to my next trip with travel with Matthew.
