⭐☆☆☆☆ – Never Again. This Company Uses a Bait-and-Switch Tactic.
I would never book through this company again, and I strongly encourage others to think twice before doing so.
I booked and paid in full for flights that were advertised and confirmed. The very next day, I received a phone call informing me that my husband "no longer had a seat" on the flight we had already purchased. Instead of honoring the reservation they sold us, I was given two unacceptable options:
Pay nearly double the original price for different flights because the fare I purchased was supposedly only a "promotional" price.
Keep the original price, but completely change our travel dates.
That is not customer service—that is a classic bait-and-switch.
The purpose of a promotion is to attract customers with a legitimate offer, not to sell a flight and then call the next day demanding significantly more money because the original fare is suddenly unavailable.
What made this even more upsetting is that these flights were for my husband to come home and spend the holidays with family. Instead of looking forward to our trip, I spent hours arguing just to find a way to get him home.
In the end, I had no real choice but to use the funds before losing them. Now I'm paying even more because I had to purchase a one-way ticket, and I have to drive an extra hour to a completely different airport just to pick him up. This entire situation has cost me additional time, money, and unnecessary stress.
If you decide to book with this company, read every word of the fine print—especially anything mentioning "flexibility." In my experience, "flexibility" meant they could remove us from our confirmed flight and expect us to pay substantially more for different flights or completely rearrange our travel plans.
This has been one of the most frustrating travel booking experiences I've ever had. I will never use this company again, and I would never recommend them to friends or family. Save yourself the stress and book directly with the airline instead.

I have been struggling to get through to Travelport. I called Travelport SA and I was told I would be referred to a Consultant and that took days. Eventually he got in touch and I immediately responded as this urgent for me to proceed with IATA application. A month later I am still waiting for any form of acknowledgement and the way forward.
Let’s go from the beginning. I was trying to find a means to integrate a GDS onto a travel website that I intend to deploy.
As I communicated with a person who works there by name Henry De costa it seemed to start off smoothly.
Until I got a response after opening up my specifications on a new travel agency it seemed he only really just copied and pasted the last email with no intellect to respond specifically to my last communication in a conversation just a copy and paste . That I feel is poor communication and service I do not approve of. Therefore I do think they don’t communicate properly. After outlining this he says that they won’t offer the service. Basically they just deny whoever they want and favour others over you. No consumer leverage just always deny service to people who are new with an ambition to start a new travel agency. Do not bother with them.
I’m writing this review to warn others not to fall for this fraudulent travel site. I was misled into thinking I had secured a confirmed flight reservation, only to find out later that no actual ticket existed.
The agents, who were extremely pushy, gave me false information about airline availability and prices. They tried to upsell me and pressured me into paying immediately, using excuses like "limited seats" or "last-minute changes." Once they had my payment, communication became vague and unhelpful.
🚨 This is a textbook bait-and-switch scam — they get you in with a fake low fare, then either try to charge more or don’t issue a ticket at all.
✔️ If you value your time, money, and sanity — stay FAR away from this site. Book directly with the airline or a trusted travel agency instead. I’ve reported them to my bank and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Transportation.

Very poor experience. I questioned their small print before paying and was reassured the fare (£680) would be secured if I paid the balance by 22 August. After paying, they suddenly increased the price and refused a refund, even using my email “Please book” (which they pushed me to send) to claim I accepted their terms. Now they are trying to charge a cancellation fee and making intimidating calls. Be very cautious, question everything, get everything in writing via email and do not communicate with them via WhatsApp. They email you stating that they are Travelink.

For the reply: You response shows exactky how arrogant you are. I never once said you are an travel agancy. I have invoices to prove its TRAVELPORT and i have emails from all your staff. Your response shows exactly tge type of organization you are and will never take responsibility for your unprofessional staff and horrific service!

It’s the BIGGEST SCAM EVER!!!
They tell you the ticket are cheapest around and not even 24 hours later they call you and tell you that the ticket is not available and tell you that you have to pay double. I was not going to do that so I told them I wanted a refund, and they wouldn’t give it! I got it after but they were trying to keep it and say it wasn’t possible.

They think the original money you approved with some disclosure allows them to take that money even though a ticket was never purchased. Who wants to start a class action-reply..!

This company is a scam. Please do not consider using. Don’t be deceived as they sound so friendly and accommodating if you get on a call with them but they will still burn you. Ruined my trip by taking payment and sending confirmation the. They never actually bought the ticket. By the time this was realized the flight I thought I had purchased was 250$ more expensive since it was so close to the departure date. They tried to blame me initially then back peddled and tried to say it was a credit card processing error on their part but refused to make it right. Unless you want to gamble with your traveling plans do not use this company.

Riley James your experience with me 04/01/2025 were very pleasant and positive thank you .
I reserved a ticket, immediately got an email saying that there is a problem. Got a second email later that day, then a phone call and Travelport wants me to pay more money. He stated it was a standby ticket. That's not what was advertised, I refused to pay more. They're telling me that it's non refundable . I got ahold of credit card company and told them I don't recognize the purchase. TOTAL SCAM!

Hello all. I am wondering if anybody has any experience with the airline ticket service "Travoport", because I just had a business interaction with them that I can only describe as deceptive and fishy at the very least.
Basically, I reserved an Airline ticket for X amount of dollars online. About 30 minutes later I get a phone call from a customer service representative saying that the ticket I purchased is a "restricted" "promotional discount" ticket that cannot be refunded, cannot be rescheduled, and here's the weird part, I can't even bring any carry-ons or personal items. He then offered me two options. Keep the current ticket and accept the limitations, OR pay an "upgrade fee" to upgrade to a regular airline ticket without any restrictions. After some deliberation, I said I'll just stick with the restricted ticket.
About another hour later I get another call saying my ticket could not be reserved and now I have to pay an extra $150 to upgrade to a regular airline ticket? At this point I just straight up refused to pay for anything at all because that fare is not at all what I agreed to. Costumer service rep. says even if I cancel the ticket I'll still be charged the original fare since it's "non-refundable" through the airline.
I hang up and call delta airlines. They say say no reservation exists in my name for the flight number the third party is claiming. I call back Travoport, they say that no record will exist because my ticket is still "processing".
At this point I just refused to pay for anything at all, blocked my card, and if they charge me somehow I'm going to dispute it immediately.
