This is my personal experience only and does not relate to all the other high star reviews being posted. I consider this company a scam.

My first experience was when the website looked slightly different to what it does now. Back in August 15th 2023 I made an order to sell three games being The Witcher 3 PS4, Destiny PS4, and Assassins Creed 1 PS3. The website would not locate AC1 and would not give me a price so I had no choice but to use AC2 as an option. However I did place a written note inside the packaging saying this was the situation and can they give me the real price for AC1. Much later on I get a message saying this on 30th August.
Please note: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt PS4 game disc is chipped. Assassin's Creed PS3 was received instead of Assassins Creed 2 PS3. Please log in to your account to review our revised valuation and either accept or reject it. Once done, we can proceed with your sell order. Kind regards, Team TIFC.

Now I know the game disc was not chipped, otherwise I would not even try to sell it. So in total they gave me 1p for the game and 10p each for the other two.

Now much later on in 2026 I see the website has changed, maybe its improved. I got three games to sell so let's take a chance. Borderlands 3 PS4, Far Cry 4 PS4, and Ghost Recon Future Soldier PS3. All games are in excellent condition. Received a message saying Borderlands 3 disc being my highest paid item is no good, disc has trouble. And the other two games where not worth much so my total price from £4.46 would drop to about less than £2.00.

I decided to reject the offer and they will send the games back. They haven't sent the games back. They seem to take the highest item price, lower it or cancel it out. Send a message saying this is the new price and hope you accept the new offer which is practically nothing in return.

Now I have only decided to sell video games which to me I had no intention of playing anymore and if I wanted to I could buy it back cheap. But let's say I wanted to sell a games console or some piece of tech. If they are scamming me on cheap video games, imagine me selling them my pristine PS3 slim, or my mint iPhone 16 Pro. Or maybe my Macbook Air M1. And I get a response saying it's not good enough because of whatever reason. This is the new price. I reject the price and they don't send the product back.

They are a scam company, taking products in, lowering the price without true validation, and not returning the products when the offer is rejected. What they actually do when they receive these products who actually knows. Most likely they are selling them overseas, or maybe something else. But they have now done this twice to me where they take the highest item price and lower it even though the product is in excellent condition. And in my second case they have not given the items back.

Very easy to deal with. Slight delay in notifying whether package had been received and if in tact. Had to check Royal Mail app to confirm package had been delivered.

It was easy to do and I was kept informed.

Very helpful and communication was very good from the whole team. Very pleased will use again thank you.

Great service reasonable quick as well with selling my tech would recommend would use again.

Sale concluded. Feel like the process could have been faster. I am saying that as someone that used similar services where processing time was much shorter

I must agree with some of the other reviewers that service is just too slow. They received my order on 3/6. Soon after they set status to in processing and today (exactly week later) they set it to order received which seems like going backwards.
I used their service before but I don't remember it taking that long. Rather disappointing.
Giving three stars as an average based on previous and current experience as on this occasion it would be lower.
I'll update review when order is concluded but my advise would be to stay away if you want a quick turnaround.

Great service. Love the postage credit option paid fast once proccessed although takes time to get processed.

Very easy to get a valuation and just as easy to post off. Money in PayPal within promised time. Will use again.

Good service but very slow, it's taken ages to receive payment for just games - would understand if it was a console which needs more review but games should be quick and easy based on previous experience with other retailers. In future would be better to take to CEX as they're quicker.

Easy process and received the valuation I was given. Only comment I would make is that from the moment I posted my item until the valuation was confirmed there was no communication so you just have to be patient and trust that you will hear eventually!
