Their online booking page doesn't accept my foreign bank card. Their phone number is just a recorded message on repeat, again and again, telling me to press 1 for WhatsApp. And the WhatsApp is a similar automated merry go round. !!!!

Awful experience
We travelled to Townhouse Cambridge July 18th 11.15am for our first visit of Nanny, daughter, granddaughter and daughter in law for a pedicure each. We paid £205 for a perfectly polished pedicure each (which is no longer on the menu - our feet weren’t even washed!) My 9 year old granddaughter was told that she couldn’t have her finger nails painted too as there wouldn’t be enough time so we paid £50 for her to have her finger nails painted only with a diet coke. She sat along time doing nothing beside us. A ridiculous amount of money for what she received.
My daughter in law had her nails painted with normal polish and the assistant kept wafting card to dry them quicker and caught them several times and marking them. We had to return 2 hours later to complain that the polish had failed. Not one apology from anyone when we reported it. We were made to feel that it was our fault. We didn’t want to wait again so asked for a bottle of varnish to take away so we could redo the nails. This was frowned apon and we were given a nearly empty bottle. I can not believe we paid £205 for this bad experience. Daylight robbery! I really would like some money back. This was supposed to be a special experience for us all.

I went to Townhouse on Northcote Road
I went to Townhouse on Northcote Road, Clapham with my 11 year old daughter. I interacted with two staff members and they were both cold and unfriendly. My daughter was there for a manicure, when she presented her hands to the nail technician she gave a look of horror and said she couldn’t touch her hands as my daughter had some ‘condition’. My daughter looked like she was going to burst into tears, she was hurt and embarrassed.
I explained it was just a bit of eczema that was not contagious. The nail technician refused to touch my daughter’s hands without a doctors letter!
I have taken my daughter to several places to get her nails manicured, including Margaret Dabbs in Liberty’s and there has never been an issue.
I wish I had read the reviews first. Ghastly place.
