We had a great time at the pottery class - did not have any expectations or experience so assuming to end up with a lopsided bowl. However, totally judgment-free place which is great😂 the instructor has been great - clear and funny!

Great way to spend 90 minutes on a Sunday. Excellent facilities and tutor...looking forward to seeing fired results

Me and my friend booked this experience for 21st June 2025 and wish we hadn't have bothered, the 'gentleman' running the workshop was one of the rudest, uninformed and least friendly person I have ever come across.
Whilst there, we witnessed him being rude to a small group of young people, who I can honestly say were no problem whatsoever.
I actually heard the 'tutor' swear at the young lad AND THEN smash his pottery which was in the making and throw it across the room !!!
Me and my friend were in total disbelief as well as the others who were attending the workshop
His behaviour was totally unacceptable and uncalled for, this group had done nothing and yet it seemed he had taken an 'instant dislike' to them.
The young people left of their own accord, quitely and with respect - which quite frankly I wouldn't have.
The experience was £50 each - It was certainly far too overpriced, he was not a friendly person, he was not informative and it just felt like we were all putting him out being on the experience - it wasn't even worth £5, let alone £50
With the way he treated this group of people too was just the 'cherry on the cake' - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BOOKING THIS EXPERIENCE unless you are happy to be abused.
I wish I had read the reviews for this workshop before booking up - lesson learnt.
I am also shocked at the responses from the company - they are just not interested in people who have complained, and have somehow turned it around on the paying public, rude, sarcastic and very unprofessional.

Just read the response to my review by the company - these people were NOT throwing clay around !!!
Me and my friend were there - they were polite at all times !!
You are clearly trying to cover up the fact that YOU were rude and ill mannered to protect your company from people reading reviews that you feel are negative ! They are the truth !
These individuals were well behaved, me and my friend saw you punch the pottery and throw it, and you said something like ‘if you’re going to mess (but swore badly) it up, I will for you’
Your company and staff members are a disgrace, you should be ashamed of yourself.

If you say ‘I’m under the assumption that people read reviews’ meaning they don’t ?! … then what would be the purpose of you asking the ‘100s’ of people coming over the weekend to write a review ?
You are clearly trying to cover up that this workshop is rubbish, and run by a self centred, deluded, rude individual.
I have seen this with my own eyes, those poor people were not throwing clay about (oh, as well as you being a compulsive liar it would seem) and I hope if they take it further CCTV footage will be obtained to prove this.

Not at one point have I been ‘aggressive’ this is Trust Pilot, an honest site for people to write their own review on how they thought their experience was - I have written an honest review - my right to do so in fact
I have written about my and my friends experience and also what I witnessed with those poor people you were so vile to ! Am I not allowed to write this ? Is this not a chance for me to write a review ?? You clearly are on the spectrum as you don’t seem to understand the purpose of Trust Pilot ?!?!

THIS VENUE NEEDS A PROFESSIONAL PERSON TO RUN IT - I SUGGEST YOU TAKE LESSONS IN MANNERS, AND LEARN HOW TO BE A MORE RESPECTFUL PERSON, UNTIL THEN ITS PROBABLY BEST YOU WORK BEHIND THE SCENES - MAYBE A CLEANER IN AN OFFICE AFTER CLOSING HOURS ?

Instructor swore at my friend and threw his pottery off of his wheel! Disgusting behaviour from a so called “professional”

Had a really disappointing experience with the BYOB Pottery class. Little guidance, rushed from the start - if you didn't manage something first time the "teacher" would just come round and do it for you instead. Explanations were quick and hard to follow and you weren't really give a chance to try yourself. When the wheel bit was done the instructor disappeared without a word and left us with someone else who made it very clear as we were the last class of the day that he wanted us out of there as soon as possible. Instructions on painting were brief and not really explained well and the microwave we were supposed to use wasn't working properly. Having already paid almost £100 for the privilege, you then have to fork out another £20 for the 2 pots to be glazed. Was bought as a gift and both left really underwhelmed and feeling it was a waste of money

Update to respond to review reply: It's a shame that they don't recognise that making the most of a situation and enjoying the company you're with (including laughing over what a shambles it was) doesn't mean it was a good service or worthwhile. I think everything you need to know about Token can be found in their unprofessional and defensive replies to negative reviews.
