I really enjoy shopping for my Toco…

I really enjoy shopping for my Toco pieces and have been a return customer for multiple years. The shipping time is quick and the returns are easy to do through their portal. I am a big bust small back customer and find the Carib one piece to be one of the best fitting swimsuits I own! I now have 3!

Best bikini yet

I have two bikinis from toco - the fabric on my first pair has washed well, colour remained consistent and it’s a lovely cut that you can tell is designed by women for women. I’ve just bought the second pair so can’t comment on how well it’s lasted yet BUT the fit is excellent and true to the description on the site. I’m contemplating a third set, they are so comfortable and flattering!

Amazing quality and inclusive brand

Amazing quality and inclusive brand! I 10000% recommend this brand for bikinis. I’m now onto my 4th one. I also have a small waist and large boobs and they cater for all sizes which is such a win!!!
They are a small business - ignore the negative reviews, if you have used a product, of course you’re not going to get a refund.

Love Toco

I have purchased about 8 bikinis and swimsuit from toco over the years, my absolute favourite brand for swimwear! Amazing quality items and fantastic customer service.

Beautiful quality that makes me feel beautiful!

I first purchased a dress from Toco which is the softest fabric I’ve felt and so flattering. Genuinely received more compliments than I have in anything else. I now have two bikinis which are both gorgeous (cobalt couva and triangle, calypso fete and triangle, S in tops and M in bottoms), fantastic quality and fit so well. I thought I would never wear bikinis again (former ED) and Toco has single handedly changed that. ❤️💙🧡

10/10 swimwear - comfortable, flattering and gorgeous!

I have ordered multiple bikinis and swimming costumes from Toco in many different styles and find them all flattering, comfortable and supportive. I get so many compliments whenever I am wearing Toco and have yet to find any other brand who compare! I very much reccomend Toco, particularly to those looking for extra support (without neck pain!).

Amazing swimwear brand

Amazing swimwear brand! I now have 6 tocos (both bikinis and swimsuits) and adore them. The fit is fab, the material feels great and I can truly say I cannot find a better bikini elsewhere. The videos on the website showing the fit across different models is super useful and really value their ethos around using customers as their models. I really feel as a small business they listen to and involve the customers. I will keep buying from you as you just get it right ❤️👏🏼

10/10 brand

10/10 brand! Material is super soft and customer service is also a 10/10. Nearly all of my swimwear is from toco, I also find their bikinis to be super supportive for larger bust girlies. Washing them is super easy, all stains come out and no discolouration from sun cream on the lighter colours. Can’t wait to see more from this brand!

Favourite Swim Brand!

This is my absolute favourite swimwear brand and one I continue to order from every year as they release new styles and colours! The quality of this swimwear is amazing but the design and fit is what makes them stand out from other brands. It’s obvious this is a brand for women, by women and I’m yet to find any other brands that make such flattering cuts/fits of swimwear in gorgeous designs at reasonable price points. I’ve ordered tons of options and sizes (they have an amazing see your size guide on their website but I’m still always deciding between sizes) and have never had any issues whatsoever with returns or exchanges. Customer service has always been prompt, friendly and helpful.

Great shopping experience and amazing quality

I bought two items from Toco and intended on only keeping one as they’re on the pricey side, however I loved them both so ended up keeping them both! The quality is unmatched and the way they fit is far superior to many other brands. I’m happy to pay more for the higher quality but do wish the price brackets were more affordable.

Paria Top, Tobago Bottoms

Purchased the Paria top and Tobago bottoms for a total of $150USD ($160 with shipping and tax). Although the bikini was super soft and a lovey color, it is extremely overpriced. It provided no support whatsoever for a large bust. I am a 34E and purchased a L in the Paria Top. I was spilling out of it and in no way would feel comfortable wearing this out in public for fear of exposing my entire breasts. Also shipping to the US was $15 and I had to pay a return shipping fee of $20. So with tax I wasted $36 on a bikini that I couldn’t keep. I find this extremely poor Customer Service. I would never recommended purchasing from this company simply for the costs of returns.

Size & Style Ref: I’m a 32F/G, usually wear a Small to Medium, and I bought the Carib One Piece.

I spent nearly 600 AED (around 150 euros), including 120 AED for shipping, on a swimsuit from a brand I really believed in. I was drawn in by all the influencer campaigns saying it was big-bust friendly and inclusive. While the top fit was just manageable (under-boob spillage, but fine), the back is cut in a way that pulls and feels uncomfortable. Something about the design is clearly off.

That was already disappointing—but the real issue was the lack of customer care.
I messaged early with honest feedback and even commented publicly on both Instagram and TikTok. I was ignored completely until I tagged the brand. When I finally got a reply, the response focused more on the founder being a busy working mom than actually addressing the issue.

Meanwhile, I watched them reply to every positive comment while mine sat there unanswered. I even replied to another customer’s post about sizing, and they responded to her while skipping my comment directly underneath. That felt dismissive and unprofessional.

At this price point, customers shouldn’t have to chase a reply or be told to “follow up.” A quick message, some empathy, and a real solution would’ve made a huge difference. Instead, I got a delayed offer to extend the return window after already feeling ignored.

I really wanted to support a small brand especially since it repped the Trinidadian flag and I’m from the Caribbean too but this experience proved that the customer service doesn’t match the premium image. I’ve unsubscribed, and I won’t be ordering again.

If you’re going to sell a premium product, you need to offer a premium experience. For a non-branded swimsuit, this ended up being a complete waste of money.

Being short-staffed or a small team is not the customer’s problem. I’m a paying customer, and I expect to be treated like one.

We have hundreds of positive reviews on our website for this style, specifically from our small band big bust community - these reviews are publicly available to see on our website but of course, what works for some shapes may not work as well for others. This is the nature of buying online and as a brand we include as much imagery and video content of all styles in all sizes on our website to aid the shopping experience.

We have a dedicated customer service email (help@tocoswim.com - this is easy to locate on our website within the ‘help’ section) where our team aim to respond within 24 hours during the week. For any specific queries regarding orders, whether that be amendments, complaints, returns or exchanges - we always direct customers here for a guaranteed response. My understanding is that you responded to a story, and left a comment on an Instagram post - and whilst we aim to reply to all social media interactions we receive (of which there are many, everyday), on some occasions they are missed and for that we can only (and have already) apologise.

The focus on the founders response to your queries was not specific to being a busy working mother - it was merely apologising profusely for missing your complaints via Instagram and explaining why it is impossible for any company whether it be big or small to respond to every single social media interaction. We don't want anyone to be stuck with a swimsuit that they are unhappy with and therefore we felt that offering to extend the returns window was an appropriate solution. You have mentioned that a ‘real solution’ was never offered, however we are unsure what more we could have offered short of refunding you for the piece without receiving the return, which I'm sure you'll appreciate is not a viable solution. We cannot alter designs based on the feedback of individual customers, and cannot refund orders that customers aren’t happy with without the item being sent back to our warehouse via our returns platform.

We do not offer free return shipping and never have done. This is made clear on our website. Once again, we apologise for missing your DM on Instagram.

Extraordinary dedication to customer satisfaction!

I have ordered a two-piece from Toco Swim for an upcoming trip and absolutely loved it: the quality, fit, color, material - amazing.
But the size was a bit off so I have returned it for an exchange. The timings were a bit tight so I reached out to customer service to see if they could speed it up. The customer service representative Chloe was a great help. She handpicked my return, processed it and shipped an exchange in a matter of a few hours.
Extraordinary dedication to customer satisfaction!
Will definitely be ordering from them in the future

Often targeted on Instagram ads for…

Often targeted on Instagram ads for swimwear that i can't find on the website. When i reach out to them they tell me these items are now discontinued. Why advertise them then? It's extremely frustrating as a customer. This has happened several times. In terms of quality, it's fairly decent and my items have been buttery soft but lacked support. Only buy if you have confidence you won't return it as returns are a hassle and they don't make it easy as 'they're a small business'.

I apologise that you have received Instagram ads to only find out that items are out of stock or discontinued - I agree that is extremely frustrating! We have removed all ads whereby stock is discontinued now that we have launched our new SS25 collection and monitor ads on a weekly basis to ensure they are paused when we sell out of that particular style - but sometimes there is a slight lapse between us requesting the ad is paused, and it actually being paused.

Regarding returns - we feel this is an easy process, we have a clear and easy to use returns portal readily available within our help section on the website. Perhaps you are referring to them not being easy, as they are not free? Unfortunately we cannot absorb the cost of free returns shipping nor is this something we plan to adopt. Most small brands, and many large brands in fact now charge for returns in order to continue running viable businesses.

Part of the aforementioned returns fee is that our returns checking process is rigorous and thorough due to the hygienic nature of swimwear - something that is factored into the flat £5 returns fee for all UK customers.

Great Response Time

I got the maracas top in the black Friday sale. Super flattering - makes the girls look great. High quality thick swimsuit material. Ordered 3 different styles to try, returned two. I got a little confused with the return process so spammed them with email asking if they received it. They responded in less than 24 hours and processed the refund with 2 days! Great customer service, would recommend!

Fab swimwear

I found this brand literally 6months ago and loved the style of swimsuits they had on offer, they where a bit pricier than I would usually go for but I decided to take a chance, bought two styles to see which would look best on me, honestly I was blown away, I ended up keeping the two of them.
The quality, the shape and the fit of them is just unreal and the material is so soft and buttery and most of all I felt really good in them which was the main thing for me.
Will definitely be purchasing a bikini for my next holiday, love love love.

I’m a new customer to Toco Swim this…

I’m a new customer to Toco Swim this year and was unsure which style would fit my body shape so I ordered multiple colours, styles and sizes. The quality of the fabric is beautifully soft. I’ve emailed and dm’d toco for help and advice on sizes and returning, they have always been friendly and professional, I’ve had no problems with returns (at my own cost). I have 2 bikinis from the brand and will definitely buy more!! Love love love 🥰

Held to ransom over a mysterious stain

The swimsuit fit well but was too cheeky for me. I tried it on and returned within a day or so. Like a few others there was a mysterious stain reported on my item. I too gave up arguing with customer service. I am a mature experienced professional a long time online shopper and I do not recommend this company.

In my view under the distance selling laws this ‘marked item’ is an unacceptable practice. How can this practice be legal when it can never be proven at a distance who marked the item but the company hold your cash or the item as the ultimate winning ransom.

I buy frequently from high end retail and to be honest I would only do so in the future.

Do not order if you know you might need to return

I have wanted to order this swimsuit for a really long time. I bought it now on a discount during the black friday sale. Unfortunately when I tried them on, the straps were too wide for me as I am short. Also the part around the chest is not padded. I was really sad about that. So far no problems aside from the fact that I obviously want to return as this is not for me. However, now I am trying to send it back. And as this company doesn’t provide the free shipping I have no clue on how to return as I am trying to return from EU to UK. And all the companies that I am trying to send with need a return label. Which of course this company doesn’t do. I also tried to talk with the representative through the chat option but they were just ignoring me. It’s super unprofessional. I do not recommend buying from them unless you’re 100% sure you won’t return back.

Whilst all of our bikinis and swimsuits are double lined, we do not advertise anywhere that any of our styles come with padding and so this should not be expected and we apologise for any disappointment caused by this expectation gap.

In regard to your comments regarding shipping - we are very transparent in our returns policy that we do not offer free returns - as a small brand, this would put us out of business. There are instructions on how to return internationally detailed on this page of our website (https://tocoswim.com/pages/2023-shipping-and-returns-policy) which is easy to navigate to via the main menu. This policy is not something we are trying to ‘hide’ from prospective customers - more so we outline it clearly so people can make an informed decision before buying.

In regard to your attempt to contact our customer services team via web chat, we apologise this was not responded to - we certainly were not, and would not ever, ‘ignore’ a customer. We are a small team without a dedicated Customer Services representative manning the web chat at all times. In future, you are welcome to email help@tocoswim.com to resolve any issues (this email address would have been on your order and shipping confirmation emails) and their response time is typically within 24 hours on working days, and often faster.

Sorry you had a poor experience with Toco and we hope the above is helpful in registering your return. Whilst we don't have local knowledge of shipping providers within Europe, we have had several customers return to us from EU countries and it appears they just use a local shipping provider - no returns label has ever been required or requested.
