I triedfl purchasing the galaxy note 20 from tobydeals. I was patient and waited 3 weeks. Unfortunately on the site my order always stated processing. I tried to contract them to find out why as this was something I ordered 3 weeks ago. I recieved no response and after a few days I knew buy from them was a mistake. Please avoid this site and stay safe on the internet.

It takes a while as it comes from China I believe. When you're getting it make sure you get the option with insurance and sign in don't proceed as a guest.

DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS SITE. EVER. IT IS A SHAM. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, SUPPLY FAULTY GOODS, REFUSE TO REFUND YOU. Shocking. Be warned. They should not be trading in the UK, they are not based here and do not follow any rules or regulations. Wish I had read the reviews before loosing so much money to them. I repeat. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE.

No matter how much I have tried to contact TobyDeals in order to try & find my order, they have not responded. I placed my order in time for my Son's birthday at the beginning of December. When it didn't come I hoped instead it would arrive by Christmas. It hasn't. In the end I've had to contact PayPal and they've refunded my money.
PayPal have been OK, but there's no present to give on Christmas Day. I won't be using TobyDeals again.

I purchased a Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra 5g smartphone on the 11th of December 2020. Gave it a week for tracking number and dispatch details but nothing. I contacted them, no reply so I contacted them again and no reply. I had to open a PayPal case for a refund. At the time was a great price but will avoid using them again as they seem like a Scam!
Was a Xmas gift so very disappointed.

no updates about delivery for almost 3 weeks
After 7 days I emailed them, no answer.
After 14 days another email, nothing.
After 20 days case open via PayPal.
Today they refunded the money, saying "my PayPal payment could not be processed".
what a waste of time.
it's hit or miss with these people.
never again.

I have been waiting 4-5 weeks for some earphones ( Which i later learned are being sent to the UK from China)
I have emailed the customer support helpline 5 times & i have had no response.

I even paid the extra money to guarantee the delivery. Not a happy customer!

Ordered a product on the 1/12 still not here , got in touch 5 times , no response to anything , coincidentally after a opened a case with PayPal they issued a tracking number about one hour later , however when you try to track it it has zero information and it’s a Chinese company so there’s no way of getting info about your item from them either - such a bad company with bad service, stay away !

Ordered Nintendo switch for my daughter on the 11th December. Still not here and no tracking available I have emailed several times and no response. I am now panicking as it’s suppose to be her Christmas present. Delivery states 3-7 working days I have no choice to go and buy the same item to make sure I have it. But then how do I get a refund on this item when you can’t call and no one responds to emails, this company needs looking into its false advertisement.

I ordered JBL5 and Iphone SE 2020, it took 26 days for shipping to London (delivered with dpd).
The items were well packed and both are working as expected.
I give 4 stars as shipping information was misleading (they provide the information that delivery takes 3-7days on the website) and support did not respond for my email.

Ordered a Samsung S20 FE 5G phone 16 days ago. Not shipped no tracking provided yet, emailed for the 5th time, no response. Requested PayPal to step in. Avoid at all costs. They claim they are an UK company but they are based in Hong Kong.

An absolutely appalling experience from start to end.
Despite contractual terms from a “claimed” Uk seller , the experience here has certainly left a sour taste for all future on line purchases !!!
Claimed dispatch timescales not met by several days, then almost three weeks of nonsense excuses on their tracking update , suggesting delays with courier .
Tracking information not provided but they do try to conn PayPal into believing they’ve shipped the item by forwarding PayPal a shipping order .... DPD in this case.
Once this was traced through DPD it seems Toby’s trick is to book a courier service and ‘create’ a seemingly legitimate transaction but the reality is they don't release the goods to the courier ! Hence the tracking updates the seller provides are completely bogus and mere stall tactics whilst they enjoy the benefits of the buyers cash !

Quite surprisingly PayPal seem to be dragging their heels with this company too !

Thank goodness I paid with an excellent Uk funding source and they assessed the transaction as fraudulent and issued a prompt refund on receipt of the documented evidence from all parties .
What an unnecessary fiasco leading up to the festive season !

Ordered a Samsung phone two weeks ago. Not delivered, unable to track and emails totally ignored. Avoid like 5he plague

Ordered a Christmas present almost 5 weeks ago still hasn't arrived. It wasnt like it was just £20 either. Almost £300 I'm so mad! Do not use this company. They wont respond to any emails utter disgrace !! I'm demanding my money back as it's a utter joke!

Ordered an ipad end of November, item marked as dispatched the next day with tracking advice. No update on tracking until 10 days later. Tried the email for tobydeals, to find when it could be expected. 5 emails and no response. Item eventually arrived, before Christmas, and was very well packed and as expected, just so long to wait for a valuable item. I hate to think how you would get on for a refund or replacement. Will not use again, even at the good price.

I ordered a Nintendo switch for my son on 7 December. I have not received my order and no response to my emails. This is a scam please stay away from Toby deals. Fortunately I got a refund after contacting PayPal. I have re-ordered the same toy from Smyths toys at the same price as Tobydeals.

Ordered an Apple Watch in November. Today, still no sign. Tracking information updates provided daily from the Toby Deals website (not courier company) and which appear to be fake. For the last week have just had 'unforeseen delay in shipping', that sort of thing. Have emailed them 3 times and received no reply from their customer services. I have bought the product again from another seller, just 2 days ago and already received it today. So now I am pursuing a claim via PayPal. Seriously, do not waste your time or money on this very, very poor company.

I set up an order the 27th of November and I had no updates since the 13th of December!
After several emails to them and to the courier (P2P) I gave up and started a dispute with Paypal to get a refund.
The day after, via my tracking number, I realised the parcel finally landed in UK. I decided to wait few more days, and the 18th my parcel was passed to Royal Mail.
Next day got delivered! I wasn't unexpecting it really, It's been such a good surpise!
Package was very good and my Samsung S20+ is absolutely brand new and original (I verified it with IMEI Number).
I paid it half price, great deal!! Just took quite long time and customer service could be definitely improved.
I think I will order again from them even if it will take long time, Paypal is a guarantee.

Order a samsung phone in November, a month on im still waiting, no response from emails, can't get through to anyone, very disapointed, don't use them they are aweful, wish I had gone with another company.

When you get tracking, you're taken to Hermes here in the UK, where Hermes are awaiting the parcel.

Timeline:
i) Tue 8 Dec 15:33 - Order placed
ii) Wed 9 Dec 10:06 - Order being packed
iii) Fri 11 Dec 10:44 - Parcel has been picked up by courier and left our warehouse
iv) Sun 13 Dec 06:21 - Your order has been dispatched from our warehouse.
v) Wed 16 Dec 04:13 - Shipping details updated to Paypal.

Currently we're on 21st December - and no word yet. Previously I recall it getting here within 7 days.

Ok - item arrived; 2020-12-22 - so I've updated the review, but I'll leave things at three stars because no one bothered to get back to me and there was a rather large proportion of this process where there are no updates and you're left wondering what is going on - IF anything is going on with regards to logistics. The item was genuine.

I do wonder however what would happen if the worst came to the worst and the product was faulty or you had to return. I just don't imagine you would be able to get a response very easily.
